 + -1 moreWe used Mike and his crew at Estates Landscaping for two years in a row and have been very pleased. Last year we purchased our home and they redesigned and planted the landscaping after we removed the existing overgrown shrubs. Our yard also needed reseeding after we had a new septic system installed and overgrown pachysandra needed to be removed. Mike and his crew reseeded our yard and even came back in the fall to follow up with reseeding as part of their initial quote. They worked with us to choose shrubs we wanted and the crew came after normal 8-5 works hours when rainy weather caused delays. We have an acre lot and the yard and landscaping turned out great. The grass looks better than sod. This spring we called Estates again to clean and mulch our beds. Again their job was thorough and it seems that every crew member cares about the quality of their work. We got quotes from 3 companies before choosing Estates and their rates are very good - especially considering the quality of service they provide. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Redesigned and planted all landscaping. Reseeded yard. Following year- cleaned and mulched all landscaping beds.

 + -1 moreMike picked up immediately on emergency phone call in late evening, and came out the next day to evaluate. The work was done within a couple days when his crew came out for weekly service. Thank you!
Description of Work: Tree outside of house began cracking in ice storm. Branches were heavy with ice and sounds of trunk cracking off were ongoing. We were fearful tree would fall onto house and break windows, possibly roof. Mike was called for advice and came out first thing in AM to assess. His crew came out for selective pruning of branch in question to relieve the heavy load. He also assessed and pruned selective branches of other trees in immediate area to prevent future problems. Tree was subtly pruned so that it did not look like branches had just been hacked off, aesthetic appearance intact. He assured us that if pruning did not resolve the problem he would be back for additional pruning and trimming.

Description of Work: Wonderful Landscaping Company! They started out as someone we needed to maintain our lawn as we do not own a lawn mower ourselves (garage space is very limited and no shed). The next year they installed a fence for us when we bought a dog, just this past year, they gave us a completely new landscape around our house. I'm so happy every time I walk out the front door and see our new yard and I have gotten so many compliment on it. These guys do a wonderful job and Mike is a great guy. Very Accomodating and reasonable.

Description of Work: ESTATES LANDSCAPING WEEDED AND PREPED BEDS FOR MULCH, TRIMMED EDGED AND MULCHED BEDS. WE HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER AND AREA OF BEDS AROUND OUR PROPERTY AND THEY WERE VERY MUCH OVERGROWN WITH WEEDS AND LOOKED TERRIBLE. LANDSCAPER GAVE US AN ESTIMATE AND A PROPOSED DATE TO DO THE WORK. THEY SHOWED UP AS SCHEDULED, DID THE WORK BEAUTIFULLY AND SENT US A BILL EXACTLY FOR THE ESTIMATE. THEY TELL YOU WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO,AND THEN, LO AND BEHOLD, THEY DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. WE WILL BE HIRING THEM TO DO MORE WORK FOR US BECAUSE THEY ARE SO DEPENDABLE.
