Work was to be completed on Thursday but the caller called a few days earlier to cancel the work due to the up coming weather. That morning we had a rush job to take off someone's house and my wife called at 10 am on Thursday. She said there was a lady on the machine screaming & yelling and saying how bad my company was. She called 3 different times screaming and she said she had already called someone else to do the job. If she would have called in a nicely manner we would have been out there right away to help here with her job. We feel that when someone treats you in a way like that it is better not to do the job.

I am a small business owner and do all of our calls at night. I try my best to call everyone back as soon as possible. Some times callers talk fast and our machine blurrs the numbers. We hope that if a caller does not here from us in a few days to call back again a leave another message.

It went very well. They showed up as scheduled with men and equipment ready to work. The crew was skilled, courteous and organized. They finished as scheduled. I would rehire them.

I have used this company before. They did a good job both times at a reasonable price and cleaned up all debris. The crew arrived the day and time they had promised although I had to wait longer than expected due to our many storms. Mine was Not an emergency. The owner was there to supervise. I have nothing negative to report.
Description of Work: Trimmed many dead branches from BIG trees, several low hanging branches, cut down dead bushes. Chipped all and hauled away.

We've used Dave Wood Tree and Landscaping Inc for 19 years including tree removal, stump grinding, and snow plowing. He does all of our outdoor home maintenance. He is local, he has reasonable rates, he's super dependable, he's very honest, he listens to you, and he'll do anything we ask him to but nothing more. We call him up to leave a message and we trust him to take care of it.
Description of Work: We used Dave Wood Tree & Landscaping Inc to rake our gravel driveway and rake our stones to take care of our driveway.

He stopped in the middle of the job. He came by with his son and intimidated me and demanded $7000 more before he would continue. When I refused, he put a lien against my house. As far the work itself, he had put a drain in, but had not put any pipes in that were connected to it.

The drain pipe job was $5000, installed 5 drains and filled in drainage ditch. Upon finishing they were both happy with the job and paid $2000. Then they contracted me to replace entire front lawn and had us clear out their woods. When the woods was cleared they wanted to plant another section of lawn. Clear ditch in front and plant more lawn. [member name removed] was out with us most of the time adding work and all the work was priced. [member name removed] called us in to do more work and gave her the new bill. We asked that we pleased be paid before doing more work and the current bill was $13000 at that time. I gave her the bill in which she started screaming and throw the bill down. I asked [member name removed] what was wrong and he said he would talk to her. About 10 min later he came out and said he would call us soon. I tried calling them for 6 months to see what the problem was and they did not return our call. I hired a lawyer and which he sent certified letters and [member name removed] would not respond. I took her to court and she kept delaying the court date. One of her friends that we do work for called to tell us that she was going to leave the state. When the court date came up her lawyer said that she would be there and [member name removed] did not show up to trial. Both [member name removed] moved to Colorado. After the attorney meet, our attorney told us that they offered a $5000 settlement. My Attorney advised that we take it because it would be very hard to get her back to Ohio. For the trial we had all the pictures of us putting in the drain and it working propertly. We had pictures of the finished lawn and it was even mowed a couple times.
