Justice and Sons Heating and Cooling

Description of Work: Our furnace abruptly stopped working during the Thanksgiving holiday. In a desperate effort to find someone that could service it, Justice was the only company that answered their phone that day. When they came out, they were quick to insist the unit needed to be replaced and told me he could sell me one and have it installed within a week. He gave me a brochure on a new unit and we placed the order for a new unit the following Monday. 6 weeks and multiple phone calls later, the owner told me it had finally arrived from the manufacturer, only to discover after it was installed that they had installed a different (cheaper) unit purchased from the warehouse stock of a local supplier. They would have never disclosed this to me but I noticed the difference in model numbers on the warranty papers. I demanded they replace it with what I paid for and then waited until mid Feb for another unit to 'come in'. Justice claimed it was not their intention to mislead me, but I clearly believe otherwise. They finally replaced it when no one was home even though I requested they set up a install date once it came in. Paperwork was left at the door and the unit was never checked (via thermostat) after install! The following year we found out the thermostat they installed was also apparently second hand as Justice had never registered it with the manufacturer. We found this out when we had a service call with a different repair service because the thermostat stopped working. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone as, in my opinion, the owner is clearly not running an honest business. They were very quick to suggest replacement as the only option and then didn't replace it with what I paid for (until they were caught). I clearly didn't take time to do my homework on this one and was burned beyond belief. How this company is still in business is beyond me. Buyer beware!

Description of Work: Unclogged a stopped up drain from my HVAC

Description of Work: I had a bad smell in my house that smelled like rotten eggs, that went on for about a week. I called Justice and Sons and this young guy came out and looked at my furnace. I was afraid something was leaking. He looked at the gas lines going to the furnace and said well there was no gas leak. I asked " Well then what is that smell?" He stated that he did not know what that smell was. He proceded to light my fireplace, and left. Eventually the smell got worse and I called TR Johnson and Sons, and low and behold I had a gas leak. A bad one inside the home. The guy from TR Johnson and sons used soap which it did bubble on the line, and then used the gas detector and it registered right away. I had to have a couple lines replaced. I find it interesting that this kid that works for Justice and Sons, and he's been at my house before, does not know what gas smells like. He could have blew us both to kingdom come by lighting the fireplace. Of course, charged me a $100 dollars for nothing. This company is useless and I do not recommend them........ever.

Description of Work: We use Justice and Sons Heating and Cooling for our heating and air conditioner. He is due to come out next week to change filters and stuff like that. He was last here 6 months ago for routine cleaning and filters.
