It went very well. Rick helped figure out what should be done to fix the area damaged and put me in touch with some very good trades people for the other jobs that would be involved in doing the repairs. He came back 4 times after others had completed their work to do his part as a carpenter. He left the job site clean and left me with a great repair and outer doors that work fabulously for the first time since we moved here! It was a pleasure working with him.

Rick is incredibly responsive and a consummate professional. His craftsmanship is excellent. His service and follow through have been second to none. He is meticulous about his work and he obsesses over details to make sure the job gets done properly. I am very impressed. I really like his weather stripping system, which after seeing it on the new door we had him retrofit/install it on two other doors. I've since hired Rick for other projects and would highly recommend him to anyone for doors, windows and trim carpentry. Project two consisted of installing a replacement wood door, removing a door and installing a window in it's place, which required additional framing and siding to finish the project. The front entry door was adjusted. Lock sets were replaced and weather stripping was installed around the front door ($3000). Project three consisted of installing two steel doors at a commercial building ($2000). This was challenging for Rick because both replacement doors were from different manufacturers and different heights, so he had extra leg work to find the right materials and determine a solution. Rich has worked for other family members before and since my experience in working with him and all have had very positive experiences. I appreciate Rick's integrity and honesty. If a project is not right for him, he knows where he is most efficient and effective and will let you know that someone else may be a better option. He has referred me to other sources that have been able to provide excellent solutions. Rick's pricing is very reasonable when you consider the value of his experience and expertise on the job. I've had other people quote some of the work and while Rick was not the lowest cost option, the value of the end result justifies a relative price difference. When I think of a carpenter, Rick is top of mind and my first phone call.

ACCOMMODATING,AND REASONABLE.

STORM DOOR BANGS HARD. CALLED SEVERAL TIMES. WONT RETURN CALLS. HE DESIGNED THE DOOR BUT WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT.

MISSED 1ST APPT. FOR ESTIMATE MAKING MEMBER LATE FOR WORK. DOESNT DO PAINTING BUT OFFERED TO SUBCONTRACT SOMEONE FOR A LARGE FEE IN ADDITION TO THE PAINTERS CHARGES. CHOSE NOT TO HAVE WORK DONE.

PAID FOR ESTIMATE, WAITED SEVEN WEEKS ,HAD TO CALL COMPANY, ESTIMATE THEN GIVEN OVER THE PHONE.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS, WONDERFUL IDEAS, QUOTE, AND PRICE. PROFESSIONAL, GREAT JOB. RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, PLEASANT. RESPONSIVE TO IDEA.

REPLACED SMALL AREA OF WOOD SIDING, REPAIRED RAILING. PROMPT, GOOD WORK, BUT PRICE SEEMED VERY HIGH (MEMBER DID NOT GET OTHER ESTIMATES)

THE FINAL PRODUCT WAS GREAT, BUT I HAD A HARD TIME GETTING HIM TO COME DO THE WORK; IT TOOK TWO UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS BEFORE HE FINALLY INSTALLED THE DOOR

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CLEANED UP WELL.

PUT IN 10 TO 12 WINDOWS AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO HER, WAS VERY PLEASANT AND INFORMATIVE, WOULD DEFINETLY USE HIM AGAIN.
