Nuisance Animal Removal

While someone did come over when scheduled and set traps, and squirrels were caught, it took days after calling to have them removed for someone to get rid of the animals. Traps were set again just in case, and no more squirrels for a few days, and no evidence of them. However, the siding removed and hole made to set traps sat there for a few more weeks - took a couple more calls to get them to finally complete the job, and then only after reminding them who we were and what we needed. For what was done we were charged $498. That seems a little high for the service that kept us waiting so long with exposed wood and traps.

I am super-impressed with this company so far. I called Friday night about bats I saw coming from my attic. Brandon, the owner, called back within ten minutes. He fit me into his busy schedule the next day for an inspection. He has been very responsive to my questions, and I really feel like I’m in good hands with this company. Looking forward to the exclusion work that we’re about to do!

My experience with NARLLC was outstanding! From Start to finish I was very pleased. Beginning with the initial phone call with Holly which was received most respectfully to Brandon performing the removal to the crew who came out to clean, disinfect sanitize and replace insulation it was an awesome experience. NARLLC was so easy to work with. It was evident throughout the service they wanted to provide you with excellent service. I can’t recall when I had such attention to providing respectful, professional, conscientious and caring service. I would both recommend NARLLC and call them again in a heartbeat. Sealed off holes in roof vents and around the foundation of the house.

In 2017, they sealed everything but the ridge vents, which I had been told by the roofer would not permit bat entry. Putting ridge guards on added quite a bit to the price. In 2018, I saw a bat again in a different area of the central attic. I called Brandon, and OK'd the ridge guards, again with a way for any bats to exit. I know from the past that ridge vents tend to lift up in places over time, and bats don't need much space to get in. In 2019, an employee of the company named Tom, came out to perform a bat inspection per warranty. He took his time and explained things to me. Good people skills! I will continue to have them check yearly! My house in not huge, but it is not small either and it has 7 ridges.

I called Brandon out because of an awful smell in our upstairs bathroom, coming on top of hearing for years the sounds of birds occupying that air vent. He dealt with the awful smell competently. He found the remains of a dead bird in the crawl space behind the bathroom, removed them, and deodorized. End result: no more stink. So in that respect, it went quite well. Unfortunately, the price for that work was high ($269), and his quotes for further work--including home repairs totaling $3,000--seemed unprofessional to me. During his inspection, I had to press him for verbal findings. He kept saying that he had taken a picture, but the photos he submitted with the quotes were useless -- we didn't know what the picture was demonstrating, or where the problem could be found, or in the worst cases, either one. A narrative to accompany the photos would have been very helpful, but we sure couldn't find one. To make it worse, the price on his quote wasn't broken down at all. He itemized individual tasks--actually specifying "$0." Then he put the total price of over $3,085 at the bottom, making it impossible to get competitive quotes meaningfully, deal with the insurance company on portions of the job, or even to simply break such a large job down into manageable pieces. At my request, he also submitted a separate quote dealing with the freeloading birds in the vent. Luckily, the stunningly un-informative photo he submitted didn't matter too much, since he had shown me the broken vent louver. However, my husband & I couldn't tell from the quote wording (and un-itemized pricing) if the $600 price was for both bathrooms or just the upstairs one with the problems. In the end, rather than asking Brandon to clarify his quote, we decided that we expect better communication from a professional we have to trust, especially one who seems to be on the upper side of the price curve.

We were in a terrible situation, because a racoon not only moved into our chimney but managed to manipulate the damper so he came into the house. We needed help ASAP and was so lucky that we found this company. Tom arrived on time - 11am - and was obviously highly experienced and dedicated and skilled, plus a very nice guy. He smoothed our nerves and persevered until he had the racoon removed. If you are in a terrible bind like we were, call this company. If you need fast and effective pest removal, again call this company. They are great.

BRANDON DID A GREAT JOB RESPONDING TO ME QUICKLY WHEN I CALLED ABOUT THE RACCOON PROBLEM. THE ANIMALS WERE TEARING APART SECTIONS OF MY ROOF. BRANDON DID A THOROUGH REVIEW OF MY ROOF, AND SET TRAPS. HE ALSO GOT ROOF REPAIRS COMPLETED IN JUST A FEW DAYS. I REALLY APPRECIATE HIS PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND ASSISTANCE. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY.

Brandon, the owner of the company, picked up phone and came right out. It was a Saturday and I had no luck finding someone to even answer the phone, let alone come out to do the job. He was here an hour and a half later. He was pleasant, professional, and efficient. Would hire again without hesitation.

Perfect, he came straight out, set up 2 traps, caught the groundhog in less than One Hour!

They strictly deal with animals. They don't do bugs, spiders, wasps, or hornets. Brandon is a wildlife specialist, and he is very good. He will be making a total of four visits because we keep trapping the critters. He was referred to me by another company that was on Angie's List. He is highly recommended. There is not a lot of people that do this kind of work. It's a little bit pricey, but it's worth it so I don't have to put up with animals stirring in the middle of the night. That's not cool. I would absolutely use them again.

Brandon came out promptly and set traps. He ended up catching two groundhogs over the course of about a week. When an animal was caught he came the same day to collect it and reset the traps. He was efficient, professional and courteous. There was a $240 charge to come and set the traps and make one f/u visit. He ended up needing to make a few extra trips so there was some additional charge which I was aware would be the case when we started. I was very satisfied and will use again when needed.

He came out and said he thought is was squirrels or a raccoon. He suggested that the tree so close to the house would give them access to the roof. He suggested that we should remove the tree to avoid future animal access. He inspected the roof and noticed that a vent was compromised and he would fix it to avoid animals from getting in after first eliminating the animals. He did not offer pricing and we never asked, we just wanted it taken care of. After catching 5 squirrels over two weeks he thought it was taken care of and fixed the vent on the roof. After he was done I asked if he guaranteed his work he said no but he wouldn't charge a second setup fee if called out again due the problem not being solved. His bill, $100 setup fee, $60 per trip to check the traps and dispose of the animals and $50 to fix the vent, Two days later scratching returned and I setup inside traps for mice to solve the problem. Make sure you ask him about pricing before agreeing to the service, we did not and felt we wasted the money as it did not solve the problem we were having.

He is doing a great job at maintaining everything and keeping them from getting in my house. I'm glad I found him, he's been great.

We were overrun by woodchucks. When I called on a Monday, he told me he would come by on Wednesday and he arrived when he said he would. He located the burrows, told me what he charges and explained how the traps work. He charges an initial fee and then an amount per visit to pick up the bodies -- same price whether there is one animal or ten. Whenever I saw an animal in the trap I called him and he came by that same day to pick it up. I found Brandon to be reliable, no-nonsense and his price was competitive with everyone else I called. And we have seven fewer woodchucks than before.

I love this company. No company knew what to do about my bird infestation problem. I am very thankful for Brandon. Brandon has done an amazing job decreasing the amount of birds in my home. He listens to the customer and is very patient. He is very knowledgeable about pet issues and can immediately pin-point troubled areas. Due to the bird infestation, it takes many months of repair/corrections, and monthly monitoring by Brandon to keep the problem under control.

I have used between twelve and thirteen exterminators, and this guy knew what he was doing. He took his time and identified the problem. He was very thorough, prompt and reasonably priced. He educated me on the history and the problem of the pest that I had, which were starling birds. He took care of a problem that I have been having for two years. I was infested with birds and no one knew what to do. He found many holes, patched them and now it's a lot better in the house. There are a couple of birds left which are alpha and he will be back in a week to get rid of those. He is also going to disinfect to prevent bird mites and ticks. He is the guy to use if you have a pest problem. The big thing for me is that he is a local guy.
