Aqua Doc Lake & Pond Management

We called to inquire about their service. We were told a technician would call us within 48 hours to set up an appointment to come out and evaluate our property. After two weeks we called back and informed them that no one had contacted us. They confirmed our contact information was correct and assured us that we would be contacted in the next 48 hours. Two more weeks have passed and no one has called.

I consider it a lack of professionalism when no response is given to an inquiry.

This company came highly recommended. They seem very knowledgable and environmentally conscious. We have been pleased with their work. There have been a couple of small things that are annoying. Once, the service provider called my cell phone and left a message, but never rang the bell. We were home and he could have saved us all significant effort. Another time, someone came out for a problem, but the work order did not detail the specific problem we had called about. Again, a small problem, but he wasted his time investigating something that was already being addressed and then having to refocus on the problem at hand.

It went really well. They were on time, courteous, prompt. All the workers were really pleasant and really great. Tom was the person I contracted with. They went over and beyond.

Both ponds were drained, and leaves were cleaned out, from all the spring winds. James and Zack worked hard in power washing and rinsing both ponds. The ponds were refilled and tested. James and Zack worked right through the rain. Great job guys. Over all I have been very pleased with the original rebuild of the ponds last year and the cleaning this spring.

They were a little expensive but they were very good.

They check them twice a month during the summer. They treat the ponds for algae, clear debris, and take care of the weeds in the water. We’ve used them for years and will continue to.

Tom, Mike,and Greg did an outstanding job, beings careful with the existing landscaping around the ponds. They removed the landscaping plants as necessary And replanted them when they finished. They are so busy that it took them three months to get to me but it was well worth the wait. They cleaned up after themselves and left the area looking like they hadn't been there. I would highly recommend them to either build a new pond water feature and rebuild an existing one.

AS I SAID ABOVE, INTERVIEWED AS THEY EDUCATED ME ON WHAT AND WHERE I CAN PUT A POND ON MY PROPERTY. EVEN SUGGESTED USES FOR EARTH REMOVED FROM POND TO SAVE ME MONEY ON FUTURE USES.

They do a great job. We've used them a number of years.

They're a very good company. They do the job and they're always available, phone call wise and anything else. They take care of any issues that come up.

I really wish I were writing a review of work completed by Aqua Doc. But unfortunately, our project never even made it past the estimate phase. The customer service we have received from this company, from the president on down, has been disappointing at every turn. Here is a timeline of events since the beginning of our interactions with the company. May 7: John Wilson, Jr, president of the company, visits our home, inspects our shoreline erosion issue and states that this is the type of work that his company does all the time. He took his time and explained how the process of bringing in clay and building a riprap wall would work, and told us an approximate timeline of when we could schedule the work and how long it would take. However, he said he would need about a week to calculate the precise amounts and costs of the materials and labor to give us an estimate for the project. We also wanted prices for constructing a dock at the same time. May 14: This is the date John informed us that our estimate should be ready. No phone call or contact from the company. May 17: Still no contact from the company, so I called their customer service number and left a voicemail explaining the situation, and asked for someone to call back and let me know when our estimate would be available. May 22: Still no response from the company, so I call again and speak to a representative. She informs me that she had given the message to someone who would contact me when he had all the numbers. May 29: Still no response from the company, so my husband calls and asks to speak to the president of the company who had visited our house. We need an explanation for why the estimate is now 2 weeks overdue and why no one from the company will pick up a phone and tell us what is going on. The person answering the phone said she will pass along the message, but we have still never heard a word from them. The only reason we have continued to contact this company for the estimate is we don?t know very many companies who do this kind of work. I doubt we would work with them even if they finally returned our call and gave us the estimate. All John would have had to say, from the very first day we met him, is that this is a very busy time of year and it might take several weeks to get the estimate ready. Or, this job is a little small for us ? here is someone else who might be interested. Maybe make a phone call at some point and say ?we haven?t forgotten you ? we should be in touch in another week.? If ANYONE from this company had bothered to give us a return call and let us know they understood our frustration or explained the delay, we would have been placated. Instead, we are extremely frustrated, we have to begin our search for a contractor a month after we started looking to do the work, and we still don?t even have a rough estimate. We think the job would have cost in the $20000 range (but who knows, since we can?t get an estimate from the company?) Update 5/30: a secretary call to let us know the president is out of the office until Monday and won't be able to respond to our concerns right away. However, we've always been told that someone else is responsible for preparing the estimate. Update 6/5: John called back and explained that the company had recently been exceedingly busy and he apologized for the delay. He provided the estimate, which was close to the figure we anticipated, and was friendly and informative. I just don't know if I want to do business with a company who kept us in the dark for so long and had such poor communication.

I have had them for ten years, every summer and I really like them. They are very professional and they are very good at what they do.

Cynthia was so nice, super responsive, and provided us with a professional proposal with a set fee ($460) for all snow removal for the season or $20 per push. We decided to go with a lower cost provider who quoted us $15 per push. Though we might not use them in future for snow removal, we might consider them for pond management based on the favorable interaction we had.

EVERYTHING HAS GONE WONDERFULLY OVER THE PAST 10 YEARS OR SO AND I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM IN THE FUTURE.

We have a contract with them for the season. They are very timely, they are friendly, and they are responsive and proactive.

They have done an excellent job for our homeowner's association. Original bid on job was very professional. They have performed all specified services in a timely fashion.

I think the price is fair for what they did. They were great! They worked very well with the excavating company. They had great things to say about each other. Aqua Doc's employees were very professional. The man answered all of our questions. They really know what they are doing. They were here for two days, and it was done well. I would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

They are very friendly when they are there working. Sometimes they do not show up on time. They are easy to get hold of when I call them all the time.

Expensive, but it looks and sounds great!!! 1 year warranty. I bought the house 2 years ago, and the pond/waterfall came with it. AquaDoc called the old pond/waterfall a "home improvement store special." The previous homeowner built it. It was about 4 years old when the waterfall collapsed. It then became an eyesore. Now it looks fantastic!!! It took AquaDoc 2 months and 2 phone calls to make it out to my house to do the work. Don't hesitate to call AquaDoc if you don't hear from them after a reasonable amount of time. I also had a proposal from my landscaper who cuts my grass. His price was only about $130. cheaper than AquaDoc's price. This is all that AquaDoc does.

Aqua Doc was very prompt and informative when I had any questions regarding the work they performed in my yard. I am very pleased with the work they have done and continue to do for me.

Since that time, however, Aqua Doc has diligently tried to discuss this situation with me and apologized for any misunderstanding. We have been playing "phone tag" for a while, but I have been very impressed with how much they are trying to remedy this situation. Although I ended up hiring another company to perform the work on our pond back in 2005, I would call Aqua Doc if I needed additional service because they have been so concerned about my dissatisfaction.

COMMUNICATION WITH THEM WAS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE. THEY NEVER MADE ANY SUGGESTIONS ABOUT A SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM WITH OUR POND UNLESS I CALLED THEM FIRST AND SPECIFICALLY ASKED TO DISCUSS A SOLUTION. MOSTLY THOUGH, I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW MANY PHONE CALLS WERE MADE BEFORE I WOULD GET A RESPONSE BACK.
