Re-worked original design till satisfied it would work functionally and aesthetically. Arthur was on time, neat, clean, and performed excellent work and design on a tricky repair . I would highly recommend him.

They were very professional. They were very clean and careful. They kept the house very clean while they were working. They had very good attention to details. The owner Arthur Durham was very consciences. He really made sure that everything was done perfectly. They covered their feet when they came in the home. They put down runners and everything on the carpet so that we could get on the carpet. We are planning to use them as we have more work to be done. I would use them in the future.

They were very thorough and knowledgeable of the building codes.

Arthur was great. On time 2 weeks. Beginning to end neat/clean. Crew was neat also a class act. Excellent carpentry design, details all good.

He sent me the quote for all the soffit venting pretty promptly but hasn’t sent me a quote for any of the interior work. He also does interior work. We are going to go with him for soffit venting. He came out in a reasonable amount of time when I met with him. He did come out promptly when he said he would. He did a thorough job of looking at everything. We are having roof work done and he was recommended by one of the roofers to do the soffit venting. For everything he had to do, he said it would cost $1975. I have the contract on my desk for that work. He emailed that to me. The other outside work was to replace all soffit venting. He was punctual; he did come out when he said he would and he did tell me it would take a while to give me the estimate because he was backed up on getting his estimates. He had about 30 estimates to do. He said ahead of time it was going to take him a week to ten days to give me the estimate, which he did for the soffit venting, but he didn’t give me any of the other estimates. He seemed very knowledgeable; when he was looking at stuff, he seemed like he really had it together. We are waiting for the estimate on all the interior stuff.

It went very well. Art Duhaime is a professional who knows construction and finished carpentry. The reproduction of the fluted column was done incredibly well. Actually the only delay in the process was waiting for a custom router bit needed to reproduce the column. The hip roof was high enough to keep water from pooling but low enough to not be visible from the street. A really good design.
