The crew arrived when they said they would. They explained exactly what they were going to do and made suggestions on a couple other areas for us to consider leveling. But they weren't pushy in their pitch - very professional and friendly. I had them come back around 60 days after the fact to look at one minor spot in the driveway. The corner was not at the same level as the adjacent corner, but it was very minor. My primary concern was whether it would re-settle by next year and I wanted to get their opinion. They came back out within a couple days of my call and reassured me that the corner would not settle further, and went ahead and pumped a little more cement underneath to get it even. I was very pleased with their work and their willingness to come back out. I found their fees to be competitive with other area providers of this service.

Mr. Rich Greene was very friendly and took his time out visit and evaluate the options for the home I was negotiating in Highland Hts. The sidewalk, garage and patio all were out of alignment and he explained the work in detail. Later in the evening, he emailed the detailed estimate for the proposed work that we used for our final negotiations with the seller. (However, the homeowner called off the deal at a later stage and I could not purchase the property). Overall I was happy with Rich's service and would hire him for concrete work if need arise.

The job was done perfectly after bad winter/spring weather allowed it to be scheduled. The sidewalk blocks were pulled up and whatever needed to be done to level them was done: root removed, base built up and/or cut down to insure a smooth surface once the blocks were reinstalled. The finished job was washed down afterwards to remove soil and any other debris. The work passed Cleveland Heights' re-inspection and was complimented by the inspector.

Crew drilled 1" holes in low areas of blocks where they sank over time due to weather and pressure pumped a dense grout solution in to level slabs. This took several hours. They then filled the holes with cement product. They then caulked all seams with a commercial caulk product. Within a few months, some of the caulking came loose but most of the caulking held up through the winter. By spring there were other seams where the caulking came loose also. After 8 months the concrete leveling is holding up well but not so for the caulking, which is not guaranteed. I did contact the provider about the caulking problem when the problem was first noticed but they said we needed to wait until spring for them to see the problem and correct it. In the spring I again contacted the provider and they said they would have someone out within a day or so to look at the loose caulking but they did not come and I have not heard anything more. Cost of the service was $1400 for the leveling and $1600 for the caulking and I received a discount of $300 for doing both the same day. Although I was not happy with the caulking coming loose in some of the seams, I realize that the weather plays a big part in the success of the product. Some of the separations were deep and wide and this last winter was very severe.

I contacted them first with an email which was quickly replied to. Within a few days, I had an estimate. After discussing with my husband, we decided to proceed with the leveling which was quickly scheduled. They arrived on time and did the work. The driveway looks great and better yet, is no longer hazardous.

(my job was pretty small so they could fit it in!) Kate was SO nice, and Brian did a great job with all of us standing there fascinated by the work. I RECOMMEND THEM!!!

I'd gotten a quote a full year ago from them, and recently recontacted them via email to ask if they would still honor it. They came out the next business day to recheck the work, and increased the quote by $100. The slabs had sunk a little more, so I felt that was reasonable. (I had written in the email not to call until after 10:00 a.m., but they phoned prior to 9:00 while sitting in my driveway.) I'd asked for an appointment on the following Friday and stated that, due to my sleep schedule, I would need an afternoon appointment. They agreed to come at 1:00 p.m. on the date I wanted -- but the day before, they phoned at 7:40 a.m. to ask if they could come that day instead. So much for sleep. My husband had to hustle to move everything off the patio before he left for work. At any rate, they arrived shortly after the specified time, had me review and sign the revised proposal, and went right to work. They removed the wooden steps/platform from the rear of the house in order to access the sunken part of the patio. They drilled several access holes in each section of concrete being raised, then did the same on the front sidewalk. They had what I would call a mud slurry on wheels with a powerful pump, which they brought over the lawn and onto the patio. They pumped a large quantity of mud through a hose into each access hole, then repeated the process on the front sidewalk. (The ground was soft so we have a few ruts/depressions, although the grass is intact.) They placed a plug in each hole once they were done. Afterward they hosed down the patio and sidewalk, leaving virtually none of the muddy mess behind (other than what washed into the lawn). They moved the steps back into place, but did not reattach them to the house as we are having new steps built. (They warned me that the whole structure is somewhat tippy. which I appreciated.) They gave me my copy of the written quote, I wrote them a check, and that was that. My experience with them was great, other than the too-early phone contacts. I am pleased with their work and their clean-up, and I have it on good authority that their pricing was right in line with what others are known to charge. All-in-all, a very good experience!

Tree roots had damaged three sections of the public sidewalk in front of my house to the point that it was a trip hazard. I chose R. Greene because they do lowering as well as raising of the concrete (as opposed to another major contractor, who only does concrete raising). Joe gave me a reasonable estimate, and the crew of three came out less than a week later. The orig. estimate was for two sections but they actually worked on three. They took out tree roots and lowered one section, then mudjacked and raised two other sections to even out the sidewalk. The job took approx. 90 minutes, and they cleaned up the area nicely afterwards. Homeowners should be aware that the contractor will not dispose of any dirt/rocks/tree roots. They left a small pile of fairly clean fill dirt at a spot I pointed out at the back of my lot. The larger debris they put into a plastic trash bag and simply left the heavy bag on my front lawn, suggesting I leave it for the trash pickup--a week away. I had to explain that Parma no longer accepts yard debris in plastic bags, only in specially marked trash cans or in those tall paper yard bags. The contractor seemed surprised by this. However, without complaint, he transferred the contents to a paper bag that I provided and carried it into my garage to store until trash day.

Concrete work was good. My only issue was with how messy they left my porch.. There were two wicker chairs that were splattered with his filler. These are light chairs and could have easily been moved. There was also a blob of this filler spilled on the front porch. I called to let them know and I never heard back.

They were excellent. I would highly recommend them. I liked their customer service. They were prompt and worked clean.

Originally the sidewalk was uneven and in fact a few blocks were sunken. Called this company for a free estimate on leveling the sidewalk. R.Greene Co. said they would be out within two days to give the estimate. The next day a technician was out to our home and gave us an estimate that involved tree root cutting to make the 5 blocks even. They would drill small holes through the slab and pump a mud mixture under the sunken concrete, raising it back to its even height and position (mudjacking). The small holes are then filled with a neoprene plug and then concrete the hole and the weather will blend the color of the new concrete in and you're done. Originally they thought they would be able to do this job (5 blocks and tree root cutting) within a month but they called a week later and asked if we could accommodate them the next day and would we be able to provide a water source. Lastly the next day the crew was here and because the sidewalk is on a circle the crew leader thought the job could be done without the root cutting but would involve 7 blocks. I agreed on this method at the original price quoted and the job was done in about 11/2 hours. The crew that did the work was punctual, very knowledgeable about this process, worked together well and cleaned up the area. Yes I would call them again and I was given a 10 year warranty.

The service was done on time and was very fast. I would use this co. again.

Excellent job. The owner and workers showed up promptly at the agreed upon time, formulated a game plan to address all of my concerns, and performed the job perfectly. This was the second time I have used the company and would do so again without hesitation. I have no reservations at all to recommending this company to others due to the superior work and customer service they provide.

They broke the concrete. The owner said they are not responsible for any damage. I paid half of the price ($195.00) I spend $800 today to get it replaced. Read the contract carefully if you hire them.

Arrived on time with a crew of three, including the owner. The job was done in 2 plus hours. Clean-up was total. I have data in my file on their 10 year warranty. We are now able to enter our garage smoothly. worth every penny. Totally satisfied.

Greene responded to my email request for quote within 24 hours of my request. They performed the service there days later and actually provided more service than quoted to ensure my satisfaction. I was very pleased with the overall experience and would recommend them to anyone needing concrete leveling.

Great Job! On Time! No Issues

The workers were on time and performed the leveling as contracted. I had a section of a concret walk that was lower than the others setions by about 3 inches and when they guys were done, it was hard to realize the sections were off so far. Friends complemented about how well the sections were now level. I would recommend Greens to perform any leveling you need.
