P.S. Hammonds Painting LLC

We hired P. S. Hammonds Painting to paint our kitchen and adjoining living/great room including a vaulted ceiling. The work included numerous drywall repairs such as repairing settling cracks and fixing loose tape joints. Also there were several water stains and some loose tape on the vaulted ceiling. The ceiling is textured and the job included re-texturing the ceiling where the repairs took place. Scheduling the work was very easy. Peter came out a day early for a few hours to do the drywall repairs. Then he and the crew came to do the painting. They completed the painting in a single day. The results are fantastic. They used high quality paint that completely covered the previous colors which included some darker tones. They were able to match the ceiling texture beautifully and seal and cover the water stains. All drywall repairs are invisible. This is the first time we have hired a professional painter and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. From the quoting process through the completion of the job, it was a pleasure working with P. S. Hammonds Painting. Highly recommended.

Very well. Would recommend without resevations

Outstanding. All areas were primed and sanded. The only frustration was with Sherwin Williams, who resisted replacing the Duration paint on the house after only a few years. Peter, and his help, personally painted the house, and the prep was very evident, with sanding, filling, and priming before the finish coat. I couldn't be more satisfied with their work.

Peter and his team were the perfect choice for all the work I needed done. They were on time and worked hard to make sure the job was done right. On top of all the their pricing was very reasonable and Peter was very good at communicating with me throughout the process.

Pete and his team were just fantastic. Not only was the workmanship was superb, but we felt completely comfortable leaving them in our home while we were at work. He and his crew were professional and the work they did was amazing. My barn was stained after years of neglect. I never thought that it would turn out as good as it did. When he was done, it looked as if my siding was brand new. The time and attention that they took to scraping and prepping the surface, followed by the application of the product was incredible. He even took the time to re-glaze the windows because he noticed that it needed to be done at no extra cost. The work he did on my house was seamless. Normally on interiors you can see track marks and pocking after a repaint as I needed, but he and his crew made it look as if it were painted for the first time. I recommend him to everyone I know and would suggest that others do the same. Normally contractors are impersonal and feel like used care salesmen. My experience with Mr. Hammonds was the complete opposite. The professionalism and quality of work speak for themselves.
