I saw the company listed as an Angie's List Big Deal. It's been awhile, so in truth, I don't quite remember the cost for the very comprehensive service, but think it was around $95 for a $130 service. I paid Angie's List and then called the company. They promptly returned my call and set up an appointment that was most convenient for me. The gentleman came out and as promised, thoroughly cleaned and checked our chimney. Since the price was reduced, I almost expected that something would be found wanting and we would be paying for additional repair services but --- I was wrong! Everything checked out, and the chimney was cleaned. I will definitely use this service provider again and highly recommend them.

Called this company to have a chimney cap installed, based on an ad in the local paper. Company owner called me back quickly and was able to meet me same day to do a quick exterior and interior review of the chimney. He seemed very personable and thorough - just the kind of guy you'd want doing this. Said he would have come back over the next few days to actually go up on the roof and measure for the chimney cap (said I didn't need to be there when he did) and would also bring a handle to replace a missing one on our damper. Unfortunately, his first visit was his last visit. Have not seen nor heard from him since he first stopped by - 15 months later - despite numerous calls from me and my wife over the next several months. Not sure what's up with that.... (and still don't have a chimney cap...)

Their price is pretty reasonable. There is nothing they can improve on. They showed up on time and they've always been very easy to work with.

My call was returned in less than a day, and the person came out the next day to do the job. Showed up promptly, showed me the chimney before and after the cleaning. Also took the time to re-adjust the damper and point out some quirks about the fireplace I hadn't known. Cleaned up great. Would definitely recommend.

The fireplace in the first house was checked but there were tiles down on the lining and they were inaccessible due to a firebox which had been installed. Consequenly, it can't be used or cleaned easily. In the other house, the one fireplace had an installed firebox which had not been installed correctly and prevented a proper cleaning to take place. That fireplace cannot be used. The other fireplace was fine and did not need cleaning as it had not been used since he cleaned it a couple of years ago. It was disappointing that 2 of the 3 could not be used. But it would take major renovation to change that.

He was very thorough checking the inside and outside of the chimney. He went on the roof to make sure the screens were in place, doing the cleaning quickly. He hauled away the old furnace that was attached to the old chimney leaving me the bricks as I requested. He was an all around A .

Jim did a quality job at a fair price, was clean (no residue in the house from the job) and professional.

I called and left a message. In 3 days Jim called me back and scheduled a date. On that date he was doing a job near by and called me earlier than scheduled to ask if he could come, and I said yes. He came set up his equipment, did the job, cleaned up, and presented me with the bill which was what he had quoted me. We talked about the loose bricks in the chimney, and he said it was not something that needed immediate attention. I was very pleased with the whole experience and will call him again.

He adjusted it and explained it so I could see how it all works. He also offered to seal our other fireplace that we weren't using so there wouldn't be a back draft. I really liked him, he was prompt, thorough, and responded very well.

Jim was very prompt. He proposed a low-cost solution to test/solve the problem, with a more permanent solution if it worked.

Really great! He cleaned up as if you could not have even imagined he was at the house. Very personable guy. We chose Music Street because he had the highest rating on Angie's List and now we know why he does. Keep it up.

They returned my call the next day after I left a message. Immediately scheduled an appointment. They arrived promptly (despite a snowstorm). They were very polite and took the time to explain everything to me in as much detail as I wanted. They were very conscientious about keeping their work area clean. I highly recommend their services.

He came out and inspected and told us no need to clean the chimney. Very honest with us and told us nothing needed to be done. Will definitely call him again to check and clean chimney in the future.

Jim answered his phone when I called to schedule a cleaning. I scheduled an appt. for the next day and he arrived when he said he would. He placed a tarp over his work area. We chatted as he worked. Very nice man who seems knowledgeable in many other areas.

JIM WAS ALWAYS VERY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE JOB. WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE THERE AT A CERTAIN TIME HE WAS ALWAYS A LITTLE EARLY. THEY CAME IN AND DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB AND I WAS VERY SATISFIED IN ALL ASPECTS.

HE DID IT QUICKLY AND I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE.

MADE RECOMMENDATIONS TO RESOLVE ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS I AM HAVING WITH CHIMNEY DRAFTING. VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, PROMPT, CLEAN AND THOROUGH. A REAL PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. THEY GIVE SERVICE A PERSONAL FEEL.
