Dan was very personable polite and professional.

Dan did a great job and we are very pleased with our bathroom remodel. He tore out the existing fiberglass shower and replaced it with a tile shower. Also retiled tub surround, replaced bath and sink fixtures, hung mirrors, towel bars, and painted the entire bathroom. Dan was professional and completed the job within the timeframe he estimated. **Dan was home when a pipe burst in our basement due to the cold temperatures. He took action immediately and saved our basement from more extensive water damage.

Awful. Broke outdoor electrical system. Mailbox fell apart immediately. Gave back check and walked off when he was shown what he did.

It went fine overall, and I felt $300 was a fair price to get it all done quickly. Dan arrived right on time and finished everything in around 4 hours, plus a trip to Lowe's for some pipe. My only negatives were that he didn't ask about the mirror placement first, and honestly I feel it's a bit too high, but it's one of those things that no one else will notice. He also didn't offer to help with the cleanup, so I still have a mess of boxes in my family room. Again, no biggie. He put the old sink in the garage, which was great, but it was in the way of where I park my car so I had to lug it to a different location. After Dan left, I discovered a small leak in the drain under the sink. Dan came out the next morning and fixed it so we're all good now. So overall, the work was done and the results are good. When something wasn't right he responded promptly and made it right. I have even asked him to quote on some future jobs at my house. The only thing I'll fault Dan on is some of the "customer service courtesies" that would've made my overall experience better.

Dan was there on time and completed work in one day as promised. We would use him again.

Timely, tidy, and professional. This is the second time I've hired Dan to address the minor catastrophes of home ownership.

I had a great experience with Dan. He personally showed up and did the work. All the work was done professionally and promptly. My neighbors are all raving about how nice the repair work looks. Not only would I use him again, I am looking around and planning on future work to have him do.

The job went smoothly. Dan estimated the job would take 3 weeks of work and it did. Dan was on time, worked hard, cleaned up well, and was professional. We had previously had problems with mildew in the shower area and wanted to make sure the fan placement and strength was able to remove the moisture from the room. With Dan's advice I bought a fan, changed the placement and so far so good--no mildew has reappeared. The vinyl siding covering where the air conditioner went through the wall looks good and you would never know it was repaired. After the shower floor was built we did have water standing in one corner. Dan built up the corner so that water no longer sits there and it looks fine. The price quoted was the price we paid for the labor. With the exception of the windows and some of the plumbing parts we paid separately for the tile, vanity, mirror, lights, fan, paint, toilet, etc. Dan's workmanship was excellent and we are enjoying our new bathroom. We have used Dan for other projects in our house and would use him again.

We'd experienced difficulty with the delivery of the doors and Dan was able to postpone the beginning of the work. He started demolition the very day the doors were finally delivered so that we wouldn't have a hole in the wall overnight. Dans workmanship is outstanding, he's fantastic at communicating with us (so we could delay the work), he's always punctual, and keeps dust and debris to a minimum. He always cleans up the site as he's working. He's a wonderful person to work with. He renovated our bathroom last year and its the pride of our home. We have recommended him highly to many neighbors and will definitely continue to use his services for any renovations in the future.

Dan is very knowledge and is a good all around contractor for the variety of projects that I needed completed. Dan was able to work me into his schedule and was prompt in responding to my inquiries. He even came over a few days prior to the start of the schedule to walk through the list of projects to make sure we had alignment, which was much appreciated as my list grew from our initial estimate meeting. Dan was quick to address each of my comments during his five days of work at my home. He worked hard and was certain he finished some of the projects as not to impact with other work scheduled, such as finishing the stairs/hallway work as not to overlap with the installation of new carpet. There were some issues with electrical work but that may be more about the way my house is wired than anything Dan could do, which he spent considerable time trying to figure out. The wall prep was good, especially since he had to repair a painted wall that had excessive glue from previous poorly removed wallpaper. He also did a really nice job of installing exterior lights by installing siding block, cutting them into my aluminum siding and painting the block/caulk to match my siding.

Mr. Johnson was very accommodating working with our deadline . He took the initiative to purchase and match the deck stain/ paint for us. The deck looks really good.

Dan was very helpful. He arrived on time for the estimate and on the day the work was done.

Dan did an excellent job. He was very professional and thought of some good ideas to make the outcome of the project better before he started the job. He started and finished the work right on time and did all this at a very fair price. He made sure all the work was done right, even if it took a few extra minutes. I would gladly recommend him to others.

Everything was great with this experience

He did an excellent job. He is an all around very efficient young man. He has done an excellent job on anything I have thrown at him. I have more stuff that I will be doing with him in the future. We are probably going to have him put in a new countertop and cabinet in one of the bathrooms. I understand he does electrical work as well although we have not had any experience with this. We have had experience with him as far as plumbing, woodworking and painting. He did an excellent job on woodworking and painting. I highly recommend him.

Great guy, nice, fast and professional! Called to see if he could paint a book case I need to take to Columbus the following day, and he was able to come that day, painted very well and saved the day! Excellent quality!!!

Overall we are very happy with our kitchen. Along the way we had major problems with our cabinet provider Somrak Kitchens which caused a big delay and rework. Dan was accommodating but our biggest issue with him was not having advance notice of the cost of the delays rework and changes. As a result we had a difficult time with the final bill. We explained that we would really have appreciated more cost information in advance, not at the end.

It was a pleasure to work with Dan--he was careful, well informed, pleasant, and helpful. We've already spoken to him 'about some future projects that we have earmarked for him. He's capable of doing so many different kinds of projects and doing them well.

First of all let me apologize for being remiss in writing this review sooner; it in NO way reflects my experience with Johnson Home Improvements. From start to finish he was professional,, efficient, cost efficient and an over all nice person. The job went well and I would HiGHLY recommend him.

I communicated with Dan via email and phone to schedule and confirm the appointment. He suggested that I purchase the correct receptacle prior to the service call. When he arrived, he was very friendly and professional, assessed the situation, and quickly set to work. While he was changing the receptacle, he explained what he was doing and why. He also walked me through the two circuit breaker boxes in my home, since they differ. He cleaned the work area when he was finished. This project was a straightforward service call. I am certain that I will call on Dan in the future, however I will likely wait until a few projects are ready so that I can maximize that service call fee. With that being said, this was an urgent matter that I needed to address, and I felt that the cost of the work was appropriate. I would highly recommend Johnson Home Improvement Services.

I recently hired Dan for some handyman services, which included: replacing lighting throughout our home, removing carpeting, installing ceramic tile in two bathrooms, hanging towel bars, window blinds, etc. Dan was extremely pleasant, punctual and completed the job in a timely matter. Dan does great work and truly is a 'Jack of all trades.' I highly recommend Dan for all of your handyman services and I would definitely use him again.

I called for an estimate and explained what I needed. He said he wasn't interested, even though he advertises that he does the stuff I needed. He wasn't even nice about it. I wonder why he gets good reviews?
