Paid to replace water heaters and they were to come back to remove old heater from basement . Refused to come back to remove heater. Told to get someone else to do job even though we paid for installation and removal.

This a long overdue review of Dan Fant and his company. We decided to purchase a geothermal system during the summer of '08, purchase and installation completed in Nov '08. We researched a LOT! We even had three vendors give us quotes. Dan took the time to explain the systems to us. Thoroughly went through our home to put together the right system for our needs. He kept telling us that he "over builds" the system so we never have any regrets. Nearly seven full years later and with the past two winters behind us: we have no regrets! Another vendor came in, briefly looked around the house and gave a us a quote for a system that would not have stood up during the past few winters. It was almost comical dealing with this vendor as I had already met and talked with Dan. Did I say he explains everything? Since Dan had explained what he wanted to do and why, I was better informed when meeting the other vendors. As I asked the others questions they treated my like an ignorant kid as if I didn't know what I was talking about. To be blunt honest: Dan wasn't the lowest bid, in fact he was the highest of our quotes. When we sat down and compared what we were getting versus the others, it was actually an easy decision. In fact Dan and his crew were so respectful of our landscape and house, and how they cleaned up after themselves, it was one of the easiest checks I've ever written. The crew showed up on a Friday afternoon to pre-position equipment. Monday morning they started. By Friday, dinner time, Dan was in our basement sweeping as the electrician was finishing: done! The whole week was enjoyable as they worked. They didn't get perturbed as I or my neighbors watched them work. Many of my neighbors commented how amazed they were how little damage was done to my yard versus other installs they've seen. I was too. To say that Dan and his crew does quality work is an understatement. They took pride in doing our job. This is an easy recommendation to write for anyone looking to make the change to geothermal! Since 2008, we've had only one minor issue the system itself. It was a manufacture issue and not a Geothermal fault. In fact when we called Geothermal Professionals office that the system wasn't running right, they contacted the manufacture and worked the warranty with them. Then they promptly came out and got the parts replaced. That was probably 5 years ago. We do have them come in for general maintenance to check the system twice a year and haven't had any problems since.
