+ -1 moreI now use Rod annually to provide a treatment to the door which keeps it in great condition which protects it from the sun and cold. Again the service is excellent, timely, and inexpensive once the total re-finish was completed a number of years ago. Based on our experience I would highly recommend Rod and Door 2U.
Description of Work: Have used Doors 2U multiple times. The initial visit was to completely refinish a last double wooden outside door. The door was in bad shape and Rod did an outstanding job in refinishing the door back to its original look. The doors look absolutely wonderful and look better than new. Rob had to remove the doors and remove them for a week or so. He did a great job in putting up a temporary door while the doors were repaired. Outstanding job in terms of workmanship, professionalism, and timeliness.

Description of Work: We had two sets of door jamb reinforcements, two deadbolts, a knob, and sliding door lock installed. All were high-end pieces not normally found in this region, and all were properly and professionally installed with a clean finish.

+ -1 moreWe can't say enough about the great job provided by Rod Karsnak of Doors 2U. We would highly recommend him to anyone, and honestly can't imagine anyone else doing a better job! It was a hassle-free process from the estimate phase right through the installation and completion. Rod is very knowledgeable and professional having been in the door business most of his career. He has no limitations in regards to style and design, and has a very impressive mobile showroom to make things easy. Our new entry door came out perfect, and exactly as we had envisioned. Rod was even on-hand during the entire installation to make sure that everything went flawlessly. His communication during the entire process was great, including the post-completion follow up. We have nothing but positive words to say to Doors 2U, and are completely satisfied with our new front door!

Description of Work: This was the second time I have had the pleasure of working with Rod. Both experiences have been wonderful. He is professional, conscientious, and honest. The work was excellent from beginning to end. I ordered a new wood front door with sidelights and a new lock system. Rod had great recommendations and designed the perfect door to complement the house. He presented all the necessary information to make the process simple and easy. Everything was clear and followed just as he explained. The door arrived on time and was installed in a timely manner. The quality of the door and the finish was superb. The installation process was excellent as well. The old door was removed, damaged areas repaired and the new door hung with superior accuracy. Overall, the process was great, the product excellent and working with Rod was a pleasure. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new door!

+ -1 moreRod Karsnak did an excellent job. He came to our house and explained the choices for door and glass material as well as bringing a catelogue to select the handle and lock. He did a very good job of explaing the pros and cons of various types of doors and helped us select the best one. He ordered the door, painted it at his shop to match our interior and exterior and was great about communicating when to come to install the door, including rescheduling due to inclement weather so he could do the best job possible. We had some problems with the wood under the door frame which he fixed after he pulled out the old door and frame so that when the new door (which includes the frame) went in, all the problems were fixed! We also had him replace two other door locks so that now all the locks share a common "house key" The net result was a very high quality product installed in a highly professional way!
Description of Work: Replaced sunroom door (including door frame) and locks. Repaired wood under door frame. Also replaced 2 other door locks so all match and use a common "House key"
