+ -1 moreWe had ants in our kitchen, and standard store purchased ant traps were not doing anything. We called in these guys to help us get rid of them. They sprayed a solution in and around out kitchen counter and said it would take about 2 weeks for the ants to go away. They were right - within just about 2 weeks they were gone. Except they came back a week or two later. They included a 90 day warranty where they would make a return visit if we were still having problems. The second visit resolved the issue and they gave us some ant traps that said work a lot better than the ones we had been using.

+ -1 moreIt was wonderful! They found the nests for them and they were able to take care of them. One week later, we found a couple carpenter ants. They came out, sprayed again, and we haven't seen any since. There were two gentlemen who came out. They were very professional and nice. They explained a lot to me about the carpenter ants and were just very informative.

+ -1 moreCVPC were professional and called back promptly after I left a message. As mentioned before, Curtis was very nice and did his work quickly. One of the things I have an issue with is the $200 price for what they do, set out a couple traps and poison cubes, and are in-and-out in 15 minutes. Not bad, $200 for 15 minutes worth of work. Also, I am not convinced that it actually did anything, as we have caught no rodents in the traps, and I still continue to hear them running around in the drop ceiling. I am going to wait a couple more days to see what happens, as we are only about 10 days into it.
Description of Work: Called CVPC and left message, to which they responded within less than a few hours. I explained I had a rodent problem in my basement and that I had tried to take care of it myself by setting out glue traps and poison packets. Curtis came out at the next available time that was convenient for me and set out three old-fashioned snap traps in our laundry room and a couple poison cubes in a drop ceiling in the finished part of our basement. Curtis was professional and courteous and explained we should definitely catch something in the traps in the next day or two. The entire process took about 15 minutes and Curtis was on his way and said to call him when we catch something in the traps so he could reset them. A few days had passed and we had nothing in the traps, and I could hear the rodents running around in the drop ceiling. Also, we had found new droppings, so obviously the traps/poison cubes weren't working. Called CVPC back and Curtis came back the next day and set out another trap and put down a couple more poison cubes. Then he said sometimes it takes 10-14 days for the poison to work. So, now, it is about 10 days after the initial visit, and we're still waiting to catch anything in the traps. I can still hear the rodents in the drop ceiling.

+ -1 moreHe is extremely responsive to your initial phone call and he called within 15 minutes to respond. He came the same day on an emergency appointment. He puts on protective clothing and just conveys that he is experienced and cares about safety. There is no scattering of the chemicals and he stays around to make sure everything is taken care of. He does not stay to long, but just long enough to take care of his customers. He always says to make sure to give him a call for any other infestations and lets you know that he may have to come back. We have never had to have him come back and he has treated us like long time customers.
Description of Work: The service was for spraying to exterminate two wasp nests in two different locations. One was in stone masonry and one was in an interior wall of the house.

Description of Work: Needed to have a treatment for Carpenter Ants. I used Angie's List and called around to a number of companies and decided on this one and I am glad I did. They returned my call promptly and were able to come out same day (couple of hours) to perform the treatment needed. It is not often that you find a company that treats you with respect and will give you fast, quality service at a very reasonable price. I would use this company again if I need that service again.

+ -1 moreCurtis is the individual who comes to our home each time for the past 3 1/2 years. We have no ants indoors our outdoors. Nor do we have spiders or insects in the house. They guarantee their work however we have never required second applications. Curtis and Robbie are both very pleasant to work with. They are always on time. If you call them to change an appointment they happily change the date and or time to accomodate your schedule. They take their shoes off as soon as they walk into our home. Curtis and Robbie always look and act professional but friendly.
Description of Work: CVEC performs the following services quarterly: indoors and outdoors they spray for spiders, ants, centipedes and other insects. They check for rodents and place baits in garage, attic and basement. They keep us updated on what they find.

+ 2 moreCurtis Called to see if i wanted him to check for mice activity and i said yes. He found a couple on stations empty so replaced them & also a couple of stations empty so replaced with their work and pricing. I would recommend their service they are always on time.
