I think the experience went well. The mouse is still there, so they still have to come out to take care of that, but the ants are gone.

They were terrific. They did a great job for me. I called and spoke with the owner, and he sent his guy out. He was very good and they took care of the problem at first. I had a reoccurring problem and they sent out the guy again without charging me anything extra. The problem was resolved completely after this.

We had a painter working at our home, and since we had a very large, active bees nest in our chimney, the painter couldn’t continue the work. We were actually out of town at the time! We called Chagrin, and he was the quickest to respond. He was able to come out the same day that I had called, and quickly took care of the probelm. We’d definitely use him again if needed, and recommend him to others.

Curtis came and quickly got down to business. We will be having him back in a few weeks to check the bait stations to see if there is any evidence of mice. We will also have an annual contract with them for regular service.

I called on Saturday afternoon and by 6:00 the same day Robbie came out and sprayed. I received my $10 Angie's List discount no problem and have been told that if there is still any problem on Monday to call back so they can come back out, no charge, to zap them again. The whole process was painless. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but then again I am not an expert on exterminating pricing. Those I spoke to felt that it was not an unfair price so I am satisfied. I would not hesitate to use again!

We had our house sprayed for black ants. The person on the phone was prompt to contact me and explained they don't kill the ant nest, just protect the house, because he didn't want to kill the trees around the house, which is fair enough, but he had no suggestions on how I might go about actually getting rid of the ants. The work is only guaranteed for 3 months and I don't want to have to spend $200 every time. I went ahead with the work anyway to buy some time so I can see if I can get that question answered elsewhere. The person doing the work was prompt and called before showing up to make sure someone was there since they get paid at the time of the job and do not invoice you. I'd reminded the original person who'd called that I'd found him through Angie's List and wanted the discount applied but it was not applied on the final bill, which was disappointing.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO VOICEMAIL (HOWEVER COULD NEVER GET ANYONE WITH THE FIRST PHONE CALL...ALWAYS HAD TO LEAVE A VOICEMAIL, AND THEN THEY CALL BACK)... THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND KEPT THEIR TIME WINDOW COMMITTMENT... SET UP THE APPOINTMENT ON THE PHONE...THE GENTLEMAN I SPOKE WITH SEEMED TO HAVE A BUDGET FOR THE NUMBER OF WORDS HE SPOKE DURING EACH PHONE CONVERSATION AS HE DID NOT SAY MUCH (ONE WORD ANSWER TYPE OF FELLOW)...AS IT TURNED OUT, WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL IF HE WOULD HAVE USED A FEW MORE WORDS TO INDICATE THAT HE WOULD NEED PAYMENT UPON COMPLETION OF THE WORK...HAD HE SAID SO, I WOULD HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO HAVE PAYMENT FOR HIM...I HAVE WORKED WITH CONTRACTORS OF ALL KINDS...SOME WHO BILL LATER REGARDLESS IF YOU HAVE NEVER USED THEM BEFORE OR IF YOU'VE USED THEM 100 TIMES, SOME WHO REQUIRE PAYMENT UPON COMPLETION THE FIRST TIME OR FIRST FEW TIMES THEY DO WORK FOR YOU AND THEN WILL BILL YOU AFTER YOU ESTABLISH THAT YOU PAY YOUR BILLS AND SOME THAT ALWAYS REQUIRE PAYMENT UPON COMPLETION...THE ONE THING THEY ALL DO, ESPECIALLY THE ONES WHO REQUIRE PAYMENT UPON COMPLETION...THEY TELL YOU THEIR TERMS, AND IF THEY DON'T TELL YOU, IT IS REASONABLE TO ASSUME THAT THEY WILL BILL YOU LATER... BY THE TIME I COULD BE REACHED, HE HAD ALREADY LEFT THE PREMISES, SO NO WORK WAS PERFORMED...... THIS MAY HAVE BEEN A ONE TIME MISUNDERSTANDING, BUT IT WASTED MY TIME & MY TENANT'S TIME, AND IT WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL... I INDICATED THAT I WOULD NOT, BUT I MAY GIVE THESE GUYS A SHOT IN THE FUTURE IF THEY CONTINUE TO SCORE WELL ON THE LIST...HOPEFULLY, THE CRITTERS WILL KEEP AT BAY, AND I WON'T HAVE TO!

They were excellent - very responsive and professional. They took care of the problem right away after we called them. They provided good customer service. We had hired another company to do the job, but they were terrible. I think the price was right about what I had expected it to be. We will probably call them up for a followup.

I had used this service the previous fall when we discovered a honeybee nest in a gutter. We didn't have the nest removed because it was inside the wall and the bees returned this summer to rebuild. I called again and he came out to remove the nest, warning me that we would need a contractor to pull the siding off and scrape the remains of the nest out or the bees would return each summer to the same place.

Chagrin Valley immediately called back and scheduled a visit the next day. Other companies could not respond as quickly. The company came while I was at work and were paid by my wife. They guaranteed their work and will return if the wasps are not entirely gone. A few remained after the treatment but for the past week or two, it has been rainy and cold, so I do not know if their work was completely effective.

I used this company in 2008 for ants and called them again in 2009 for the same problem. The second time they sprayed the house more extensively so the cost was increased. There is supposed to be a warranty on the service. When we still had an ant problem weeks later, I called them. They did not show up for the appointment to repeat the treatment. I called them the next day and the appointment was rescheduled and they did not show up for that one either but at least did call at the end of the day. They finally came out for the 3rd appointment. We still had ants afterward but I decided to use another company.

They sprayed and got rid of everything. There were no harsh smells. It never mad me sick. They did a nice job. They had a a guarantee. They were always on time. They call me to see if I needed followup work after a while which I didn't like.

They took care of the problem for me, and I was pretty happy with them. Their price was $100, which was a little bit more than I expected.

He used minimal amounts of chemicals and wore proper safety gear. He checked the outside as well as the inside of the house. He also made a follow-up call about 3 days later to see if everything was going okay. I called him on a Saturday, asking if he could come out on a Monday. He offered to come out same day, but worked within the schedule I needed. He confirmed, first thing on Monday morning, regarding his approx. arrival time and came on time. He was very polite and patient with questions and concerns. He did no damage to the house, considering he had to apply chemicals under the siding and gently tug at the siding.

I called in the morning and a service technician was out by 12:30. He was professional, courteous and guaranteed the solution.
