They are fabulous. I love the guy who comes, he is wonderful. They come out right away. I was so impressed with the service they did for a client, I started to use them. My husband even knows the owner. They use all natural stuff that is safe for both children and animals. I cannot speak highly enough about their service.

Great experience - as usual. I was working in my home office and heard what sounded like water dripping from the roof to the ceiling. I investigated in the attic and everything was dry. I called Chagrin Valley Pest Control at 4:00am (I was up working anyway) and received a call back at about 6:00am. Robbie asked if I saw any yellow jacket activity on the outside of the house near the area where the noise was occurring. I told him that I had not, but that I was not really looking. We setup a time for Robbie to come out - at my convenience). I went out to check the outside when the sun was up and it was warmer and sure enough the yellow jackets were buzzing in and out of that area on the outside of the house. I called Robbie back and let him know. Robbie arrived on time. He suited up in protective gear, asked me to get my dogs and cats inside (as the yellow jackets can sting the pets once their nest is threatened). Robbie setup a ladder and sprayed the nest. No more noise in the wall.

These guys are great!! I came home to discover several yellow jackets in my kitchen, and they were appearing as fast as I was killing them. We determined they were entering from the pantry, and now it was about 6:30 PM. I called the company we have for quarterly maintenance to learn that they had no emergency number ! This was a rude awakening!So I googled "emergency pest control" and Chagrin Valley Pest Control popped up. I left a message and my call was returned within 15 minutes. They were on sight within 30 minutes after that. The gentleman suited up, I showed him where they entered from the outside, and where they were on the inside. ( Prior to thier arrival I taped off the closet, top, bottom and doors to contain them and turned out the lights)He treated the nest from the outside and then removed a small piece of drywall and removed the nest, from the wall inside. Problem solved! Thank goodness for the timing as we were going out of town the next day and could have come to find a house infested.This was a lesson, and when our contract is up with our regular company, Chagrin Valley Pest Control will be my first call. They will have our business. I strongly urge anyone who has regular pest control to verify they will be there when you need them.

I called Chagrin Valley Pest Control because we had yellow jackets under our vinyl siding. After trying to treat on our own for a week, I decided professional help was needed. I left a message in the AM and was called back within 10 minutes. They came out that afternoon, sprayed and I have seen no yellow jackets since. I was absolutely amazed at the promptness of the return phone call and that they were able to take care of of the problem the same day.

They were incredibly prompt in returning my phone call and they were able to come out the same day I called. They were very professional and answered all of my questions. After they sprayed, they inspected the attic, ceiling and walls to be sure they got all the yellow jackets. I would use them in the future and I would recommend them to others.

It was very easy to make an appointment and they were right on time. A few weeks later the ants were back in force. I gave them a call and they came right out and took care of it free of charge. I contacted Chagrin Valley Pest about a problem we were having with pantry moths. I got a return call right away.I was told that there was nothing they can do to get rid of these...there is no magic spray or fog. He told me we needed to vacuum out and wash down all of the cabinets and remove all food. He also directed me to a couple of web sites that would provide some additional information. He could have come out and sprayed or charged me for a consult, but he didn't. He was very honest and pleasant to talk with. I will definitely contact them when I next need an exterminator.

Overall, Robbie's service was outstanding! Within 2 hours of my initial message, Robbie returned my call. His crew was very professional and immediately identified the source of the problem outside the back corner of my family room. He sprayed and destroyed the outside carpenter ant nest and even applied some chemicals inside. Because of extensive water damage in the ceiling, I was in the process of contacting contractors to have the ceiling replaced. Robbie volunteered to return to my home when the construction crew had the old ceiling down to definitively treat the interior of the home. However, 2 days prior to the planned ceiling replacement, I was inspecting the old ceiling and managed to identify the location of a nest above the ceiling (literally, an army of ants crawled down the wall). I called Robbie immediately and he returned on the Sunday before Memorial Day to apply the definitive interior treatment. Not only did he absolutely correct the problem (no live ants encountered when the old ceiling was removed 2 days later), but he returned on a weekend day to treat the interior of my home at no extra charge! For any and all pest-related problems, I will call Robbie in a heartbeat!

The experience was very good overall. They were polite and thorough. I thought they were a little expensive, but they got the job done!

We had a hornets' nest behind our electric power conduit on the outside of the house. We tried to spray it with two cans of hornet spray when we discovered the nest was actually inside the walls of the house. The spray drove the hornets into the house through the basement. We could hear the wall buzzing! We called Chagrin Valley Pest Control. They were out the next day. The exterminator was very friendly and informative. He explained everything he was doing and what we could expect. He told us that he thought he got them but that if there were still hornets after a few days to call and he would come back and spray again. We didn't need to call them back because all the hornets were gone. I would absolutely call them again for any pest problems. I would recommend them to my friends.

They provide regular pest control services about once a year. I didn’t call them back last year because of their price.

Robbie took the time to give suggestions on how to block reentry as well as doing the service for us. He later came back and re-sprayed because we did see a couple of ants after he sprayed the first time. We are very happy with him and we are getting ready to call him again for another service.

The experience was fine overall. Their price was very reasonable. The technician was professional and took care of the problem.

Both Robbie and Curtis have been out to the house over the past year to spray bees' nests and address an issue with mice that I wasn't able to take care of with the products I bought at the hardware store. However, I have to also say here that the reason I've continued to use them is because of my first experience with Robbie the previous year. I had come home to my two dogs in the evening to find all my kitchen and dining room windows coated with hundreds of yellow jackets. After spraying them down (which I would not do myself in the future), I saw that they were still coming in to the house through a hole that was made in the dining room ceiling. I initially called one of the major name national pest control companies that had helped me with ants a few years previously. With no sense of urgency on their end they simply left a message for the local branch to have someone call me in the morning about it. I was exhausted and totally stressed out about the situation, and could hear the buzzing nest in the ceiling. I thought to look on Angie's list and found Robbie -- by now 9pm. His service paged him and he called me right back. He asked me lots of questions to assess the situation, we agreed I would be okay until the morning, and he gave me instructions about how to stay safe in the meantime which made a huge difference. He came out first thing the next morning and quickly took the nest out through the ceiling -- no toxic fumes, no stray bees left, no fuss, and he covered up the hole. By mid-morning everything was done and I still hadn't even gotten a call back from that other national company. The way Robbie communicated through the process, understood the urgency of the situation, and obvious experience he had mattered just as much as the actual job he did in taking the nest out. So quick and professional -- and costs totally reasonable. I'd never consider calling anyone else!
