The painter, Mitar was friendly and easy to work with and did a good job. We would request him for future jobs. The office staff however, needs frequent reminders of what was agreed upon.

While the crew was pleasant enough, the quality of work is simply poor. The crew seemed unprepared when they arrived. They were not informed of the repair work that needed to be done. The job went long and I had to leave work more than once to come home and witness the final walk through. The crew blamed the estimator for a bad job where they "wouldn't make any money" and they rushed to get the job finished. Every day I find more workmanship issues with the paint. I would not use this company again.

The owner initially was very responsive, promised to get 'paint reps' to our house to match the color of the house and the stain on the cedar on the back of the house. To my knowledge the reps never came, and we communicated mainly with his assistant. Communicated with the assistant a couple of times what stain was used before, but that never seemed to be communicated to the painters. The owner severely underestimated the complexity of removing the old stain and the painters spent an entire week sanding the decks to remove it (they did a very good job here, and it was difficult work, gave them all a generous tip). But the fact that the stain removal took a week obviously was bad. Once they got to the painting they did a decent job, although there are drips and splashes on gutters etc where paint shouldn't be. They also sprayed the paint, which is ok, but they also did several windows (for which I've had to now hire a window cleaner since they are 2 stories high at a cost of several hundred dollars). The painters also covered over the soffit (sp) vents, which inhibits airflow to the attic. I told them about this, but it wasn't fixed. Now I have to hire someone to fix that too. Finally, they finished on a Friday afternoon and seemed to be in such a hurry they did not return the furniture to the deck (including a gas grill that I cannot move by myself, so had to have a couple buddies help, only cost a six pack there though). All in all, while the price was decent the job was questionable. Would not use them again when the time comes.

They came on time and did a good job. I was very pleased with the qualiry of work and I appreciated the follow up afterwards.

The painters were very knowledgeable and patient with me as I wasn’t sure of the colors to paint my house with.

I was not here with Mickey much but he seemed to work hard and got the job done when we needed it done.

They were very easy to work with - reliable, pleasant and courteous. The house looks great!!!

Dave came out to estimate, was easy to schedule an appointment and was professional when discussing the job. He made a few recommendations which were made based on his experience, much appreciated. The painting crew called and asked if they could start earlier, which was great. Three painters showed up and worked non-stop for about eight hours on day one. The supervisor was very customer friendly, wanting to make sure he would take care of everything and asked me to inspect his work so we could cover off any concerns when he came back on day two. Day two the supervisor came back by himself, and I didn't need to go through the list of spots as he caught every single one of them on his own before he was finished. The only issue came with the revised proposal, which I didn't receive until the night before the job started. And when it wasn't 100% correct there was some miscommunication between their main office and the painter. Eventually Dave stepped in and rectified the situation. Overall, the price was very competitive and the paint job turned out well.

The paint job is great. The communication was seriously lacking. They were not courteous of our time or customers.

Received quote for the service after a lengthy discussion regarding necessary coats of paint; priming, wall prep, etc. with the estimator, Neil. We discussed which areas had wallpaper removed and I was assured a self-priming paint was adequate for coverage. We discussed that a "team" would be out to do the work which involved critical living areas of the house (kitchen, living room, dining room, stairwells, hallways). The first day, one painter came and said he would bring his son the next day to help with the 2-story kitchen walls. He felt strongly that oil-based primer was needed in the areas where wallpaper was removed and started applying it. After discussion I called the Certa Pro office and the painter was instructed not to use the oil-based primer. The painter also arrived at the house with 3 paint selections when there were only 2 discussed. The window shade was found to have paint on it; Certa Pro did state they would replace the shade. The painter explained that the Levolar shades were too difficult to remove so he left them in place. I offered to cover them but he declined the offer. I did not feel parts of the wall were prepped as I was assured they would be. The painter was courteous and I felt he was trying to do a quality job. He did not feel the coats of paint quoted by the estimator was correct and we agreed to replace the shade ourselves if he finished the job the way he felt it should be. Overall the experience was frustrating and exhausting.

for the painters typically cancelled on the days they said they would be there, and always had to reschedule. also, they had to come back SIX times to complete the project (six times AFTER they said the project was complete). the contact, neil, NEVER apologized for the screw-ups, and didn't offer ANYTHING to appease us for all of the inconvenience. Then, when i decided to hire them (because my husband thought they could do the project---painting a small bedroom---in a timely manner, they set-up the painting date, i gave them my paint color, and they never showed up for the job (big surprise). when i called them to see what had happened, they acted like our conversation never took place (neil, of course). fyi----this bedroom paint job was supposed to happen this week (week of may 12). what a bunch of unprofessional boobs!!!!! save yourself the frustration, future painting customers, DON'T hire certapro of chagrin falls for ANY future jobs.

David Strahl came to the house and gave us an estimate which I considered reasonable. The door and trim were badly weathered and I thought the overall job done by Patrick was well done.

Neil came out to do the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. They scheduled me quickly so that we could get my kitchen done before our Halloween party. The painters were very nice and clean. They took their shoes off every time they came in the house! They are great painters and definitely have them back when it's time to do the upstairs.

Everyone on the crew was polite and professional. They were extremely neat-not a drop of paint anywhere, they even covered the grass. The house looks great after the job!

Dave came out and did an estimate for all of the work. He understood our need to stay true to period. He worked with our budget and recommended options to save money. Then his production guy called and scheudled the work. The crew arrived right on time and got right to it. They took down all of our curtains, moved all of the furniture, covered everything, filled all of the holes, did a few plaster repairs and then started the painting. They went room by room to keep the disruption down. It amazes me how they can make such straight lines without taping everything. Sam was the crew chief and he made sure everthing went great. He spoke with me every day, and when I couldn't be there he left a card. They even cleaned up afterward.

The painter arrived later than scheduled, but all work was done neatly and professionally. Very clean.

The service was wonderful! From the beginning, they were very professional. Everything went well overall!
