Description of Work: They called 3 minutes after I placed the request. I had the first appointment the next day and had a good experience with a professional employee.

The day they were supposed to arrive they had a problem with their truck and had to reschedule the next day which was okay with me. He showed up on time the next morning and did the work within a couple of hours. He did a good job. Cleaned up after himself. He was friendly and easy to talk to. I am very pleased with the job.

Description of Work: Disconnected a family room ceiling fan from the half-bath light switch (which the previous homeowner had wired it to), re-connected the ceiling room to power, replaced the bathroom fan with a new one, and replaced the bathroom outlet that was being troublesome.

Description of Work: Steve installed 6 outdoor lights on my house. He was polite, efficient and friently. He made sure that each light was working properly before he left. I would use Wheeler Electric again.

Description of Work: Installed an outlet above the fireplace; | |My wife and I decided we wanted to mount our tv about the fireplace. To keep it looking "wireless", we needed an outlet up there. I described what I wanted to Mr. Wheeler (cant remember his first name, its been awhile since we had the work done) and he said it wouldnt be an issue. We purchased the Angie's List Big Deal special, and scheduled a time. He showed up on time, with one of his guys who would actually be doing the work, and discussed everything with me in detail. | |The work was great! They had to cut a hole in our brand new drywall, but made sure to do it in such a way that that piece could be reused during repair. The installation went smoothly, the outlet was exactly what I expected, and the price was reasonable ($75 dollars on top of the Angie's List special, still a steal for the amount of work done). | |On top of it all, I was installing a chandelier in the dining room while they worked, and had an issue wiring it up. The guy (really wish I could remember his name, worker for Mr. Wheeler) provided a few pointers and eventually got up on the ladder and completed the wiring and the rest of the chandelier install himself. I offered to pay him for that work, he refused to accept any additional payment. | |Great work, I plan to use them again!

Description of Work: We initially purchased a one time "Angie's List" special from Wheeler Electric. As a result of their great service from that initial visit, this is the 3rd time we've used them. There was a minor problem with a loose wire from one visit, but when I called they promptly corrected it and even gave us a 1 hour credit based on the initial problem. Their service techs have always been very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and skilled. Based on our experiences, we would have no hesitation in recommending them for any electrical needs.

Description of Work: I never heard from the provider and the administration at Angie's list refuses to reimburse me for the cost of the service, even though when they contacted me to see if I'd had the service completed I said no. They are saying that "no" does not count and I went over 30 days before contacting them again. I guess a contact that they initiate does not count. They did say they would get the service provided, but would not reimburse me. At this point I will not use the original provider, nor will I ever again use Angie's List.
