Description of Work: The electrician literally crawled into our tiny crawl space to figure out why we didn't have electricity in our living room and kitchen. He found old, bad wiring inside a box that had melted and he fixed it on the spot. He advised us on what we have to do to avoid a fire hazard in the future and gave us a quote for future work--all within an hour! I was really impressed with his knowledge and thorough investigation of the problem. It was not easy to find the problem!

Description of Work: I purchased a deal where Wheeler Electric would come out and do one hour worth of work. They came out within a few days and did a lot of small electrical jobs for me. The electrician was Steve. I had a bigger, more complicated job and I asked him to give me an estimate on it. He seemed uncertain how to do it and said he would have to get some information from his boss and he would call me in a couple days with an estimate. I never heard from him or Wheeler Electric again. Apparently, they were not interested in my business.

Description of Work: Changed a chandelier light fixture out in my entry way. They did a good job and were professional. Took time to make sure that my floors and home were protected for the job.

Description of Work: Fast response to set up the appointment. |The electrician was able to arrive early and called to be sure he could come earlier. |He corrected the problem and checked a few other switches. |We appreciated his honesty and timeliness.

Description of Work: Things went well. A two light system was separated and a dimmer switch was added to control the secondary light. The technician arrived the first fifteen minutes into his two hour window. He was professional and efficient. I will use them again.

Description of Work: Wheeler came out to do a number of electrical repairs and install a new circuit. They did an excellent job. I am very happy with the work they did.

Description of Work: Cost of work was an Angie Special: $65 for first hour, and work was comopleted by then. Normally would have been a $125 service call. Problem seemed complicated to us, but cause turned out mostly to be our not being sure exactly how a GFI receptacle functions. The Wheeler electrition spent considerable time explaining the problem, and why no addition testing or repairs were needed.

Description of Work: Joe came out and accessed the issues with our electric. We had a drywall crew that had cut all of our electrical outlets and switches out of the boxes. So, we needed them reconnected. There was one switch that it took him a while to figure out but he got the job done. He was here longer than expected but the way some of the wiring was done was confusing. Everything was working when he left and we couldn't be happier. We plan to have him back to do some more electrical in our basement.
