 + -1 moreVery well. He repaired and cleaned my light pole; light is now working and I can even plug in decorative lights around the pole. He also replaced the broken outdoor electrical fixture near the front door, so I can now use electrical devices. In both cases he explained what he was going to do beforehand. (This is the second time I've used his services and would definitely use him again and recommend him.)
Description of Work: This time he did outdoor repair -- on my light pole and a broken outdoor fixture.

 + -1 moreI have used this company previously and they do good work. This time Mr. Wheeler came to my house and looked at the job to be done. He said he would send an estimate in a few days but never did. I had estimates from others and choose someone who actually followed through and did what they said they would do. I have no idea why he didn't and I don't think it is the customer's obligation to find out why.

 + 1 moreIt went well. The contractor hung my new ceiling fans, tested them to verify that they worked, and removed the old ones. While this contractor does good work at a fair price, he is difficult to get a hold of. When you contact him by phone, expect to leave voice mail and wait for him to return your call (not necessarily right away).

 + -1 moreHe removed the old one and told me there was no electric in the wire for the post light and he could not find a switch or a box for it. He then left. I called AHS thinking the problem was within the foundation and covered. Their electrician came in and said that there was electric but that the GFI was tripped on the box located outside the foundation on the exterior wall. I guess Mr Wheeler really din't want to dig a hole for that post.
Description of Work: He was supposed to install a new post light and remove the old one.

 + -1 moreIt all went very well. The electrician was thorough, methodical, and professional. He was also friendly, explained everything, and cleaned up after himself. In addition, he drilled screws into another light pole for no extra cost. I would definitely use him again if I ever have another electrical need.
Description of Work: Wheeler electric performed several jobs for me (two call outs): changed outdoor light fixture (I had bought fixture) over garage, changed two indoor drop light fixtures (I had bought both fixtures, but job required measuring, etc), and repaired attic fan (had been so noisy -- could hear outside even -- he diagnosed bad engine and fixed it). But most difficult of all, he put in a new outside light over a new patio, which required drilling through the house, changing the light switch inside the house from one- to two-switch, as well as hanging the new light fixture. He also gave advice about another light problem I had; I followed the advice, and the problem is solved.

 + -1 moreWonderful! Although he showed up at the tail end of the time slot announced (still within) he made up for it! Put mats down and kept everything clean and tidy! Quickly replaced out the light and also fixed the switches and set up the remote so we were in business right away. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the same!

His dad was having some problems in Florida, so in some ways, I don't really fault him. He was suppose to come and he never bothered to call. I purchased new fan and when a serviceman called he installed new fan and then told me I owed $75.00. I had paid $112.00 and he wanted the add'l. $75.00. I didn't pay and he left very annoyed. Way too much for fan installation!

 + -1 moreWheeler Electric was able to run a new, improved wire from my home to the lamp post without damaging the sidewalk. As a result of their work, my lamp post reliably lights every evening once the sun goes down. I would DEFINITELY hire this company again!
Description of Work: The lamp post in my front yard has never turned itself on at night ever since I purchased my home two years ago. Previous visits from other electrician companies established that to remedy the problem, I would need to run a new wire from my house to the lamp post, but that would involve tearing up the sidewalk.
