A Mann Plumbing Ltd

We've been using them for years. They usually will come out the same day and in an emergency they definitely will. They don't charge after-hour extra fee for coming out after-hours, I don't believe, but I'm not 100% on that. I would just say that they are very responsive and they do a nice job. It usually takes less than an hour usually. They put a new sump pump in for me. They've just done minor things. They put new toilets in for me over the years. I've been using them for about 20 years now.

After waiting for two weeks for the estimate, the owner finally showed up and all seemed to go well as we looked over the work. Last I heard from him. No estimate or phone call after repeated attempts to reach him

Excellent excellent work. They did an outstanding job. They're prompt. They sent me a written contract, went over everything with me after they came to visit, and sent in their own electricians to work with as well.

It's kind of nice to find a plumber that you'd go back to because sometimes you don't want the people in your house. Sometimes you'll call a plumber they won't be there for a day and a half and these guys were there in minutes. Very prompt, they were right here. The price was good.

They were here within two days. They installed the new pump very quickly, very promptly and cleaned up nicely after themselves. The sump works well. The experience was very positive.

04/2017. Very polite and courteous, on time for scheduled estimate. Explained everything well, took proper notes to formalize an estimate to be emailed later. Never received formal estimate 7 days after scheduled estimate even after calling their office to inquire and being told it would be emailed plus the office called back to confirm it would be. Estimate never received. If email address was not clear the office had my personal cell phone and could have called to confirm again if needed. As of 5/1 am hiring Jack L Woods Plumbing to complete same request.

I had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done, so they just followed my idea I think. I guess something special was, the person who did an estimate, I can't remember his name, but he's like the expert. But they sent somebody else to do the actual installation, and then he came and kind of checked out the entire project, so that is pretty nice. He made sure everything was properly installed. So I had no problem with the gas lines, so I'm happy with the project.

There was a leak and he took care of it and once the job escalated to above of his knowledge, he referred me to a plumber. His portion was good and he knew when it got above his head which was fine. We used him basically to start it and to finish it.

Quality work, if there's a problem they come back and they don't charge you two service calls. Also professional they wear booties over their shoes when they come into your home and also response rate, turn around time for the appointment and all that is reasonable, quick.

I don't mind paying a little extra for a good job. Quality work, if there is a problem they will come back and not charge an additional service fee. They are professional. They were covers over their shoes when they come into your home, and also very responsive.

Horrible experience. I would not refer them to anyone. I am assuming the lack of professional service is due to them being busy. I too am busy and yet I took a day off to meet with them. Not returning an estimate after being in my home is unacceptable. If they are too busy to except any additional contracts, they should not have made the appointment. At the very least they could have given me the estimate and then told me when work would be possible. Even if it had been months out, I might have been ok with that.

Initial contact with Robbie Mann was very positive. I have some basic plumbing knowledge and Robbie provided straight forward answers to my questions. We discussed the project at the site and he gave me a rough quote which was within the range of other quotes for the same work. I was left with a very positive first impression moving his company up to number one or two on my list of 4 quotes at that time. This was in the first Wednesday of March. Since this is a new remodel and Robbie had stated he was rather busy and would probably not be able to get me a written quote until Monday after the weekend though he would try for that Friday I was not surprised that I did not hear anything from him by Monday evening. I Allowed most of that week to go by until Thursday/Friday with no response. It was at this time that I made a phone call to the office to ask about the quote. I talke to a very pleasant and engaging woman on the phone who apologized for the delayed response again reiterating that Robbie was very busy but she would make sure he got back to me by at the latest the following Monday with my quote. Again Monday came and went with no response by phone or email (both of which I made sure they had). Then by Wednesday I again called to ascertain if a quote for the job was coming. Again I talked to this young lady who apologized for the lack of communication and assured me someone, either Robbie or she, would let me know what was going on. Since I had been down this road with them once before I also asked if they could let me know if they were not interested in the job. Either way I just wanted to know if I should wait for their quote or not. She assured me that either Robbie or she would get me a response by the end of the week. At this point I should not have expected more but again come Monday no response from either her or Robbie. So this Monday 3/28/2016 a good three weeks/ almost a month since the initial job visit I still had no response. When I called the office this time it was a repeat of the other calls with the exception that this time I told them since they did not seem interested in the job and had failed to communicate at all with me I would no longer be needing their services. The young lady again apologized for the lack of communication but otherwise had no good explanation. I find it ironic that in their voice mail they make a statement to the effect that you should not send a boy to do a man's job. I have three young boys and I always tell them that if you make a commitment you should honor it or at least be adult enough to state why you are unable to do so. In my book their behavior was not very adult. I had really hoped to be able to do business with them after the first visit and the reviews in Angies list and Yelp but was very disappointed with their lack of follow-up. Apparently the plumbing business is good and my job was not worth their time.

Moe was very professional and addressed the leak and then repaired the fixtures for us.

Fast service! Call at 8:30 and they were here at 11:00. Thought my cold water line was leaking, turned out faucet was faulty. Replace all and added under sink shut offs.

Worked quickly but thoroughly . Did not recommend any additional worke when specifically asked

They were really great. Got the job done fast. Really nice. Easy to work with. Made me feel very comfortable. Explained the work thoroughly. Overall an excellent experience.

Mo was great. He came in diagnosed problem and did a fine job. Tim and Max replaced the hot water tank the next day. All done in a highly efficient and professional manner. Also Shirley is a treat to talk to on the phone!

I called A Mann to do two things. 1) come and fix a leak under our bathroom sink, and 2) give us a quote on adding a half bath. The leak was to be addressed the same day, the half bath the following Monday. They were supposed to call before they came, but no one did, so I was occupied with work when they showed up. When I didn't open the door (because I was on a conference call and didn't hear them knock), they just opened the door and came in shouting "hello!" I was shocked. But they did a great job for a very fair price, and I really liked how they give you a $5 discount if you give them a can of nonperishable food to donate, so I was willing to give them a second chance. Monday rolled around and no one showed up to give the quote. No one even called. Calls to the office went unanswered. This is incredibly unprofessional, rude, and I am so very disappointed. UPDATE: We called A. Mann to give us an estimate for rough-in plumbing for an additional half-bath. They were about $1500 less expensive than the other quotes we received, and gave us a much shorter timeline. We decided to go with them, and we have been very happy. They are quick to respond to questions and concerns, stayed on budget, and did an outstanding job. The only complaint I have is that we were initially told that the other parts of the house would be curtained off to keep dust from spreading, and that was not done, so we've had dust everywhere else in our house. It's still a small price to pay to save $1500.00 over the other plumbers and for the quality of the work. I also like that it is a small company, so there is accountability should anything go wrong; everyone knows everyone. Kudos to A. Mann!

Service date scheduled several weeks in advance due to a combination of my availability and Mann Plumbing's schedule. Since Mann Plumbing did not call the day before the appointment nor did they call to say that Mark was on his way, I was a little concerned that I was still on their schedule. But Mark arrived at 8:30 and completed the work in 3.5 hours. Mark has done work for us on several occasions and has always done an excellent job; working with him is pleasant.

They came on time, and did the work needed. Didn't have a part for one toilet so left to go buy one. Then replaced it when they came back. However, they did not wear booties on their feet to protect the floors, leaving a bit of a mess. One gentlemen's hands were covered with black stuff so whatever he touched basically became dirty. He even grabbed my white shower curtain with those hands leaving them stained. I mentioned it to him kindly in hopes of him learning from this experience to be more careful in the future. Didn't get an apology at all and he didn't seem to really care that he left stains behind. I also tried to ask this young man a question regarding the refrigerator, and he rudely interrupted me before I could get the question out. He seemed to be in a big hurry and not care much about the customer. This person has done work at out home on another occasion and left a BIG mess behind then also. Other employees from this company that have done work for us in the past have been wonderful!! The price seems at bit high for what little work actually was done. I called the company to tell them my complaints, thinking communicating these things would be a good idea. (If it were my company, I'd want feed back.) I was told they would pass that information on. But still no apology. Will use another company next time.

Fantastic service. Mr. Robbie Mann arrived on time at my residence, provided me with a fair priced quote and did the job right then, after I accepted his proposal. It was a smaller job but I still appreciate not being inconvenienced by having to schedule another appointment to do the work. His demonstrated excellent experience, competitive pricing and prompt service, All that puts MANN Plumbing on my to-call list for future similar work.

They did a great job, as always! This is the third time we've used A. Mann, and we're always felt we got a great service at a great price. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Came out on initial service call to trouble-shoot hot water heater pilot light out. Determined it was most likely a bad thermo-couple. Problem was we have a Whirlpool hot water heater that takes only left-hand threaded thermo-couples. They said right-hand threaded is the industry standard & we would need to order the part directly from Whirlpool. We did that, and the part arrived within a couple of days which landed on a Saturday. They were good enough to come out on Saturday to install it even though Saturday is not a work day for them. Charged me $100 dollars for the work plus $80 for the initial service call, which I thought was fair considering we were without hot water for 21/2 days. The hot water heater has been working fine ever since.

It went very well. They were able to squeeze us in within a day and repair all of the issues in about an hour. Even though they were fairly simple projects, he was well prepared (had the needed parts) and very quick. We used A Mann one other time as well. They currently stand as our "go to " plumber. I highly recommend them.

I had been using this company for a couple of years for simple plumbing issues with no problems. In fact I was very happy with their work and the overall feel of the company. My house was built in 1920 with the main waste line in the house probably being from that time. I hired A Mann Plumbing to replace the main which I knew meant potentially needing to dig up concrete outside the house or inside the basement or both. It is a long story that took months but basically they mistakenly dug up concrete and 8 feet of dirt outside of my house, then realized they only needed to dig up the concrete in the basement. Fine everyone makes mistakes, it's an old house and maybe hard to tell where the pipes run-that was not a big deal . The replacement of the pipe seems to be fine but the concrete work ended up just horrible. First they moved the drain-because of the new code-which was no big dea but they did not re-grade the floor so that the drain was no longer in the lowest spot. They had to come out twice more to try and repair the grade and repour concrete because it completely cracked. After only two months it has now cracked yet again-and the second repair was done by their "concrete guy". There was no attempt to try and make it look like the smooth floor that was there before the work was done. There is a quarter inch gap in the concrete running around the area that was dug up. They also left a mess outside both at the side of the house, where it looks like cement powder was sprinkled over the existing sidewalk, and they dumped concrete at the base of my neighbor's tree and on the sidewalk in front of the tree. Who dumps concert on a tree? I wish I could upload photos because the pictures tell it all. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING because i though I had found a company with some integrity that I would be using for a long time. Bottom line......if you are looking for basic plumbing they are great, but if you have any kind of job besides something readily visible, they may not be the ones to go with.
