Description of Work: Helped us out when we really needed it. Out heater went out and we had a new one installed and ready to go within a 24hr period. We called another company but they gave us the wrong piece and would not refund it. Avalon made sure we got the right stuff, deducted the wrong piece from the other company and took it with them. They are very great and helpful!

Description of Work: The man I dealt with was very nice, however, he examined my furnace and told me the problem and told me they do not make the parts any more so, I would need to replace the furnace....estimate around $2500. I got a second opinion from another company told me the same problem, however, also told me my furnace had a lifetime warranty and they would find the part and would just cost me labor....between $300-$500. I obviously did not use Avalon. The other company did a great job fixing : )

+ -1 moreAvalon saved our bacon in a very big way. We had called another service provider who said our entire unit was obsolete and had to be replaced at a cost of $6500. Our house was sold and due to close in 1 week. It had passed the inspection too. We called Avalon for a second opinion and we are so glad we did. These gentlemen serviced our unit the next day, found it in perfect working order and told us it was not yet obsolete and could be serviced for several years. I can't tell you how glad we were to hear this news. The other provider never called us back, thank goodness. And thank you Avalon once again. Wish more people in Carroll County, Ohio could hear about this great service.

+ -1 moreAvalon gave me a price estimate ( a good price) for my new heat pump. He completed the job just when he said he would. . He also stuck to the price he gave me. No extra fees or add-ons.
Description of Work: I used Avalon for a number of things, service calls, etc. The last time I used him I had a heat pump installed. He did an excellant job and I was very satisfied with the price. I have never called him that he didn't respond immediastely. I would highly recommend Avalon Heating and Cooling.

Description of Work: I bought a heat pump ( Goodman ) from Gary in 07, and any time i had an issue with the unit he or one of his many qualified service techs would respond quickly and fix what ever need to be fixed. I can't say enough about his professionalism and his knowledge of his product, and he stands behind it 100%. Gary is like your next door neighbor, or best friend in nature. He's out there to help,not rake you over the money coals like many other companys that are out there only for the big buck. I would recommend him highly !!!.
