KENSINGTON ON-SITE DRAPERY CLEANING

I WAS VERY PLEASED. THIS DRAPERY WOULD NOT CLOSE PROPERLY FOR YEARS. NOW IT WORKS LIKE NEW. HE WAS WORKING FOR 2 HRS. I ASKED HIM ABOUT CLEANING SOME ROMAN SHADES, BUT HE SAID THEY DIDN'T NEED IT, WHICH IMPRESSED ME. HE SHOWED ME THE DIRTY WATER AFTER HE WAS FINISHED. THESE DRAPES HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN 7 YRS. ALSO HE SHOWED ME HOW TO REPLACE THE PLASTIC HOOKS FOR THE TRAVERSE ROD IN CASE THEY BREAK AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

The drapes were cleaned to my satisfaction. Bob arrived early on 10/31/07 after calling to see if it would be okay to come earlier than our scheduled appointment. He is a very pleasant gentleman and showed my husband and me the dirty water that was collected after the cleaning. I will use his services again when needed.

I never knew this service was available - he did a nice job, was very prompt, very professional, and I was happy with his work. He also referred me to some people who make custom made draperies.

They are a very nice couple to work with, they called to confirm and set up appointments. They were right on time when they were coming out, pleasant to chat with and sent a thank you card with a coupon after the job was done. I would not say I am completely satisfied with the quality of the work done by their shop, have not yet contacted them to talk about possibly redoing a few of the shades.

I got their name from the company that made and installed the drapes 18 years ago. My voice mail was answered promptly. The over-the-phone estimate was accurate. The cleaning man showed up on time and did an excellent job of steam cleaning the drapes. He let me see the dirty water that had collected and explained any areas of sun damage that cleaning would not remedy. He was efficient, polite and I would definitely use them again.

BOB WAS EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. MADE OLD DRAPES LOOK LIKE NEW. WORK WAS EXCEPTIONAL!

DONE ONLY BY CERTAIN COMPANIES. THIS MUST BE DONE WHILE DRAPES ARE STILL ON THE WINDOW.

INSTEAD OF CHARGING ME TO CLEAN THE SHEERS, HE TOLD ME HOW TO WASH THEM MYSELF AND SAVE THE MONEY. HIS METHOD WORKED GREAT!
