Arbaugh Tree Service

Good experience, have recommended company to friends.

They told me they would have someone drop by my house and leave me a written estimate. I waited a week and never got an estimate.

Arbaugh Tree Service was the only company to respond that day. At 2 PM, Garry Arbaugh came out, surveyed the damage, and told me he could not get a crew out that afternoon, but could be there the first thing the next morning to remove the tree. On Monday morning his team of 5 people showed up complete with a CAT and bucket truck. It took them four hours to remove the tree. They worked hard, but cut no corners with safety. They removed all the wood and did a superb job with the cleanup. Although Garry could not give me a firm quote on Sunday, he gave me a rough estimate, and the actual bill came in under that figure. His crew did a great job diffusing this emergency for me, and I was quite pleased with all aspects of our interaction.

One day my husband came home from work and mentioned that the tree was removed. I had been home all day and never heard them, so they must have worked fast and quietly, and in my neighborhood, that is much appreciated. They came back later to plant the Japanese Maple and this time I saw them and watched them do it. It's been about 16 months now and the Maple is going strong. Very happy with Arbaugh's work.

They did a very good job. They were a little pricey ($400 an hour for two service crews), but I like the work they did. They did about 12 trees, and were great at picking up leftovers.

They do an excellent job. Any time you call, they come right out and do the job. They call ahead to let you know that they'll be there if you request them to. They are always very punctual. They've done work for us for many years, and we've never had cause for complaint with them. They clean everything up perfectly, even when they have to remove large trees, and they have the nicest crews that come out to do the work.

THEY DID FINE WORK. THE ESTIMATE WAS A LITTLE OFF BUT I SIGNED IT - SO I'M STUCK WITH IT.

Excellent! Work was done on schedule, sites were left clean and all debris was removed from work-sites. They have done work for me before with the same results.

The tree service we had been using for years(Arborists of America) did a lousy job last fall. We refused to pay. After many promises of making it right, they stopped making contact with us, so we looked for someone new. We contacted several different tree services on the list. The bids ranged from $250 to $600. We picked Arbaugh's because they had the low bid. They did a wonderful job In the past, when the tree has been trimmed, I could always see a few remaining dead branches. Not this time. The tree looks beautiful. They also were impeccable in their clean up. There was no sign on the ground that they had been there. Great job!

VERY NICE CREW OF MEN. CLEANED UP ALL THE MESS, HAD ALL THE EQUIPMENT THEY NEEDED TO CLEAN UP EVERYTHING, WORKED TOGETHER VERY NICELY, COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY, YET KEPT WORKING.

I was not home when he visited but the bid was considerably more than the company I used. It included shrubs, which needed trimming but which I could do myself. The bid was only a lump sum for everything he saw needed doing so I didn't know what only a portion of the work would cost and no specific comment was made about the tree in question.

It was the best work I have seen done in tree trimming. They cleaned up well before they left. It was a better looking place when they were done. They were very professional and did their jobs very well. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service! They scheduled us in to meet our deadline; they were on time, on task, and did even more than asked or paid for. Super job! If it were possible, I'd rate them A+!!!

Arbaugh's is amazing! I have recommended them to all my friends. Not only were they extremely reasonably priced, they were incredibly FAST (they had 6 guys working non-stop & had the entire job done & cleaned-up in 3 measly hours!!!). The owner stayed throughout the entire job and oversaw it all. My front and backyard looked better when they left than BEFORE they came! They even raked up the sawdust and teeny tiny branches in the grass. They were all polite and actually offered to plant my new tree. They even offered to plant the new tree, and replaced the stones around the tree bed (again better than they were originally). GIVE THESE GUYS AN AWARD ANGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were very nice to work with on the phone. The price was extremely reasonable. They did exactly what they said they would do. Considering the fact that I called and set this up during what is probably a really busy time, they also got the work done very quickly. Actually completed the job a week ahead of what they had estimated for me. Cleanup was great also. Couldn't tell they had been there except that the tree/shrubs were gone.

THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, BUT HE DID NOT GET BACK WITH ME FOR THE SECOND TIME FOR CLARIFICATION OF SERVICES. WE DID NOT HAVE A COMMON UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT WAS TO BE DONE. THEY BID WAS HIGHER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES, BUT HE DID NOT CLARIFY WHY.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH CAPABLE WORKERS. THE WORK FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS IN THE QUALITY OF SHAPING AND TRIMMING TREES. THE CLEANUP WAS IMMACULATE. WE HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH GOOD SERVICE.

NOT GIVEN AN EXACT DATE OF SERVICE, I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO ARRIVE HOME FROM WORK, THE WORK ALMOST COMPLETED. THE OWNER, GARY, HAD WAITED UNTIL I ARRIVED IN ORDER TO EXPLAIN TO ME THAT THE TREE WAS IN VERY POOR CONDITION AND THAT HE DID WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS BEST. HE GAVE ME TIPS ON HOW TO INSURE THE TREE SURVIVES AND I AM, HAPPILY, PROUD TO SAY THAT THE TREE IS BLOOMING, THANKS TO HIS EXCELLENT CREW AND HIMSELF. EVERYONE INVOLVED WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CLEANED UP THE JOB SO WELL THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN THEY WERE THERE, EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THEY HAD STAYED UNTIL GARY WAS ABLE TO DISCUSS MAINTAINTANCE WITH ME.

I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS THAT TELLS YOU THEY WILL DO SOMETHING LIKE CALL YOU WITH AN ESTIMATE AND THEY DON'T. IF THEY CAN'T CALL YOU, HOW CAN YOU TRUST THEM TO DO THE WORK RIGHT.

WE HAVE DEALT WITH ARBAUGH'S BEFORE AND WE CONTINUE TO BE COMPLETELY SATISFIED. THEY ARRIVE ON TIME AND ALWAYS DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO DO. THE MOST IMPRESSIVE THING IS THAT WHEN THEY LEAVE, THERE IS NO SIGN THEY HAVE BEEN THERE EXCEPT THEIR COMPLETED WORK. THE WAY THEY CLEAN UP AFTER A JOB IS REALLY IMPRESSIVE.
