I hired Tim's Home Improvement to remodel my kitchen and he and his crew did a great job! Tim's communication on the project was exemplary. Tim kept me informed on everything he was going to do and when he was going to do it. He let me know what phone calls I needed to make to assist in the process. He answered my calls late into the evening and on weekends. His team did a great job of staying on task and was responsive to my concerns. I've never worked with a more proactive team on any home project. I have already hired Tim to do my bathroom remodel and am looking forward to working with him again! I would highly recommend Tim for any home remodel project. He can be trusted to do a great job and stay on budget.

We are very happy with the work done to our kitchen. Tim and his crew were very professional and really did a great job! Paid attention to detail and solved problems that came up to make sure we were happy with the results. We would definitely use again!

We hired Tim to do a bathroom renovation. We are very happy with the final result. Tim's team was very polite and professional. They genuinely seemed to care about the work they were doing and didn't cut corners. Tim is genuine a nice guy and seems to truly want to do quality work. Our only complaint is the length of time it took to get our project started. We were told they would start in about 3 weeks, but they didn't actually start for about 8 1/2 weeks. However, once they started, the work moved along quickly and smoothly. We would certainly consider hiring Tim and his team again!

Tim and his crew were very professional and polite. Tim is honest and fair. I felt that he really cared for our needs and was very patient with us. He definitely takes pride in his work and we are very happy about our new deck and the two glass block windows. I will be using Tim for future projects :)

did a great job on both..the are all about quality and such nice people..the fence looks beautiful and they went above and beyond to make it to our house within a few days to install our door beings we were in dire need even though they were very busy...we will definitely use them for all our home projects

It looks absolutely amazing ! I love it. Everything looks just how I imagined and pictured it. They did everything I wanted and then some. The crew was respectful and professional. Tim's Home Improvement came out very quick for an estimate. He was So friendly, joked with us, very polite and respectful. My basement was pretty basic to start. Just concrete floor, block walls, and studs on the ceiling. We came up with a good plan together instead of just what they wanted to do. He listened to my concerns and worked through the issues I had. The Job was quick and very tidy. Even though the job took many days, they did not leave a mess at the end of every day. They cleaned up all the waste from the basement, swept the floor, and did not track construction mess through the home. I had framing, drywall, laminate flooring, a bathroom added, storage room separated, and laundry room separated. The job was very quick and progressed well from day to day. The crew was always respectful and pleasant to interact with. Overall, I am so happy I chose Tim's Home Improvement! The price was fair. The work was fast. And they were very nice and honest people. I did not feel worried they were in my home. I would recommend them to anyone.

Top notch work was done to our bi-level house. Tim, Timmy and Steve built a 2nd story deck for us and we absolutely love it! The deck was built in a day and the sliding glass door was installed a few days later. With the help of some family, this ran so smoothly and was done so efficiently. I'll definitely be using Tim and his guys again in the near future for some interior work. Excellent work, great customer service and all around great guys! Highly recommend!

I was so happy with the original remodel Tim did for me that I decided to rehire him. I had him install a kitchen with a bar design. He also added an entertainment wall with cabinets and shelves to go around my tv wall mount. Everything went smooth and now I have the basement of my dreams. Definitely recommend him!

Excellent! His staff was prompt, polite and informative. Even as we threw changes in mid-build, he was able to accommodate. I will call him for any indoor/outdoor home improvements.

I met Tim and his son. Both guys worked with a smile and got the job done in a timely manner. My wife and I could not be any happier with our new bathroom. I can't believe it's even the same room, that's how big of a transformation it is. Great job Tim and crew!

The project was done horribly, its a poor worksmanship; did not come to correct the bad work that he did;

We are satisfied with the work completed. Tim and his crew were finishing in a timely manner, then we were held up almost 3 weeks waiting for countertops. The counters needed to be ordered at the onset of the project, and this delay could have been avoided if Tim would have mentioned it earlier. Tim custom built a rustic re-claimed wood bar for us, as well as a rustic wood wall. It is a unique bar area with everyone complimenting it as they see it. We also had a barn door installed to fit with the industrial/rustic theme. Tim's lead construction specialist was wonderful to work with, and he made any changes or adjustments that I asked of him. As noted in other reviews, Tim does need to oversee his team more closely as the quality is not equally shared. There were a couple of adjustments that needed to be made at the end of the project, which Tim personally saw to. Overall, for the cost to finish the basement, we are pleased with the work. We had estimates that were twice what Tim quoted us, and the quality is just as good. We have recommended Tim to friends, and would definitely hire Tim again.

Don't bother calling him because he won't call you back.

It went very well. I ended up having them install a bathroom vent and new gas stove.

He never followed through as promised with providing an estimate.

I left a message and he never responded.

Tim's Home Improvement was hired to replace our existing deck and add on another approximately 100 sq ft of space and to replace the existing sliding glass door. He was hired in late May and the work was completed towards the end of June. The delays in completeing the project were mainly to due city inspections and weather not Tim. During construction we did not have any issues with Tim or his crew, they were prompt, curteous and professional at all times. The deck is wonderful, we have used it on a regular basis and the gate was an excellent addition. The quality of the deck construction has exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier with it. The sliding glass door is okay. It appeared they had trouble with the locking mechanism installation and that has carried over to difficulities in using the lock now. The difficulties do not make it unuseable, just difficult to catch and lock or unlock. My only negative comments relate to the finish of underneath the deck and the "fixing" of my gate lock (which was an extra thrown in my Tim, I was not charged). I have noticed that one of the posts holes was not filled in with dirt properly and I have a sizeable hole now that I will need to fill with dirt. Also there was some wood left over that the crew did not put in the dumpster. The gate lock is really my biggest issue. When Tim said he would fix that without charge he said "I have a lock that will prevent that from happening" so I believed he was going to replace the original gate latch that was sticking. In realitly they shaved down the metal on the latch and some of the wood on the gate and the gate is back to sticking again almost as bad as before it was "fixed". Overall, I was happy with Tim's Home Improvement and any issues I experienced will not deter me from hiring them again,

We are satisfied with the end result. The project took longer than was originally estimated, some of the delays were unavoidable but I felt many were avoidable and maybe Tim took on too many jobs at that time and wasn't able to dedicate the needed resources to complete the job faster. Some members of Tim's crew were great and we wish we could have had them for the entire job as they took extreme pride in finishing clean and completely. I felt there were maybe one or two people that wanted to get the job there but were not as thorough as I would have wanted. The two biggest issues that we had are detailed below: 1) One drawer pulled was not installed correctly. When you pulled to open the drawer the right side of the handle would pull away from the cabinet wood about a quarter of an inch. There was no reason that the handle ever should have been left like that by any handyman. When I informed Tim about the issue he was very apologetic and agreed it shouldn't have happened, he also had the issue fixed. 2) The dishwasher was not wired properly and would not operate. I discovered this problem Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and it was a huge issue because we were hosting Thanksgiving dinner and needed a functional dishwasher. I personally had to pull out the dishwasher, diagnose and fix the problem. When I informed Tim of this he again was very apologetic and even though he couldn't fix the problem he did find a way to make up for the oversight and the additional work I had to to personally. In summary: I would want the two major issues I had in my project deter anyone from using Tim's Home Improvement. He has a pretty good team and did good work. I feel there may be some members of his team that he needs to supervise more carefully and ensure they do a thorough job but the other guys on his crew are great and take great pride in their work. I also like the fact that he has full time employees and does not sub-contract and he is a very professional and courteous person. I would hire Tim and his crew again.
