Rich's Remodeling

Description of Work: |Converted a 2nd floor linen closet to a laundry room. The job required updating and relocating plumbing and electrical as well as structural and cosmetic work. Despite encountering some problems with outdated plumbing connections, which required unexpected purchases of materials, Rich managed to solve some problems that took longer than expected, but still finished within a day of the projected project time and at the agreed-upon cost. He does good work and was very agreeable to some minor changes in and additions to the original plan.

Description of Work: Rich is one busy guy! A little hard to reach, but does return calls. He replaced the sub floor in my bathroom & the drywall in my kitchen ceiling in the area affected by a bathroom plumbing leak. When I decided to hold off on laying the bathroom tile, he adjusted the estimate and charged me only for the work done. Nice guy, very knowledgeable and tons of experience!

Description of Work: I had an appointment set up for 10:00 am for an estimate. He never showed up or called to say he was not coming. I finally called And he said he forgot. This sets a very bad first impression so I will look elsewhere for a contractor. This is the first time I have used Angie's List. I had higher expectations for this resource.

Description of Work: We contacted Mr Rich and scheduled an appointment to meet to discuss installing drywall in part of our walkout basement. The day and time of the appointment came and went and we never heard from Mr Rich. We called and left a voice message requesting a call to explain the issue and never heard back. Unfortunately, it appears that this contractor is not particularly concerned with treating people properly.
