 + -1 moreWhen I was traveling for business, our 19-yo furnace failed in the middle of February. I called 3 HVAC companies to meet with my wife at home to inspect and go over our options. All 3 had the same news, the furnace needed replacement; however the only one to help my wife and 8 year-old son stay warm that day was Doug Elsass. Doug was able to reconfigure the existing heat pump to at least keep the house from freezing over the next couple days until they could begin the replacement. We decided to change-out the heat pump also as it was also original to the home. Within the week Elsass Heating and Cooling had replaced our entire system and fine-tuned the duct work and dampers to create the proper airflow. They also returned to make sure the transition to summer cooling was performing effectively. Elsass quote was slightly higher than the other 2 HVAC vendors, but the equipment, installation, and professionalism was worth even more. Doug and Brandon (his son) were two of the best home service individuals I have ever met.
