+ -1 moreHe left a few hours later and presented me with a $700 bill. Ouch!! Of course his fix didn't work (actually it was worse as now the system was leaking water). He came by a few weeks later, tweaked his previous work (he didnt charge me for this), telling me to call him if it continued to not work correctly. Which I did a few weeks ago. This dude did disappearing act. He took my money (obviously), and hasn't responded to any of my pleas for help. Admittedly this guy isn't the brightest guy in the world but these kinds of con artists need to be weeded out of the laborers/contractors system. I dont really have the time to do this but I'm going after him on principle. In addition to this review (stay as FAR away from this guy as you can; he'll violate your interpersonal space and won't do the job correctly), I'm going to sue him in small claims court and report these findings to the Better Business Bureau as well. I hire alot of contractors and the majority of them do the job as specified but this guy again, needs to quit this line of work and do something more suitable for his skill sets. Maybe a greeter at WalMart perhaps?
Description of Work: I was referred to this plumber from the manufacturer of out instant heat system in our house as the unit was making a loud hissing sound. He care across as professional enough; he seemed to know what he was talking about. He came over a week or so later and immediately started sizing us up as we live in a rather large house. I wanted him to remain focused on his charge but he kept showing me pictures of other houses (as if I cared) and talking about things that I could care less about. Again, he was supposed to fix the obnoxious sound and not to talk to me about things extraneous to this task. As if he were apologize for his function in life, he kept telling me about his previous "corporate" job. Again, this guy was a "talker" in every sense of the word.
