+ -1 moreI called Brown's Landscaping on or about April 16, 2015 about getting a delivery of gravel for our driveway, which is about 1/10 of a mile long. Don Brown helped me select the proper type and amount of gravel and we set the appointment for Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM. He arrived on time and promptly applied it to our driveway by driving his dump truck down it with the bed slightly raised. We only needed to do a minor amount of raking ourselves to even it out at the bottom of our driveway; we live on a narrow country road & there was inadequate room for Don's dump truck to maneuver at that point. Watching Don apply the gravel to the driveway with his 30' truck was impressive. He drives it like it's an extension of himself! Also, Don is very personable & friendly. It was a pleasure working with him and I would not hesitate to call him again or recommend him to others.

Description of Work: Awesome for hauling stone and gravel! I called Don at 10:30am and he promptly returned my call by 11 and was able to haul the same day. He also has great prices for stone and is very reasonable for delivery charge. I will be using him many more times in the near future. He was also very knowledgeable about the types of stone and gravel and their best uses.

+ -1 moreDon was professional and efficient. He charged the going rate for gravel and did such a good job spreading that not much hand-raking was left to be done. I will certainly contact him again for landscaping services.
Description of Work: Don resurfaced our driveway with gravel. He brought two loads - one with the smaller 8 ton truck which did an excellent job spreading gravel for the area just outside the garage and one with the larger 16 ton truck which spread the rest of the driveway. We have a 750 ft driveway.
