Anthony Roofing

We needed the roof (and a few other things done) to our rental property replaced so it can be placed on the market. Tony was recommended to us by my aunt whom he had done work for as well. Tony and his team were quick to schedule a date to get started which was only a few days in advanced. He took photos of the before and after so insurance can have the info they needed. It's a radical difference with how the roof was before and his work after the job was done! Tony and his team did an amazing job and they performed it quickly! His team also replaced the broken siding and repaired the cosmetic damage to the front of the house. He was reasonably priced as well, lower than the others I received quotes from. I highly recommend Tony and his team!

The owner, Tony Garman, outsourced the work to hacks that completely botched the job resulting in major leaks. He claims to have a 10 year warranty, but is difficult to get a hold of when I needed ceiling drywall repair done when the roof job his company provided failed resulting in major water damage. If you do not believe me, look up Tony Garman in legal actions and you will see that he claimed bankruptcy to avoid paying on another botched job. Do not hire and stay away from this fraud hack.

Tony and his crew arrived on time and did a great job replacing my roof. They did a thorough job, cleaned everything thoroughly and checked the surrounding area for nails and debris several times. Very professional.We were so impressed by Tony and his crew, that we had them back a week later to replace our gutters.

Originally finished the roof, but had to come back out to tack loose shingles that he hadn't finished. After we had rain, I had water come in the house in two different places. So he fixed that, then he sent out another contractor to do the painting. He came out and did one coat of paint, but he wouldn't come back because Anthony Roofing wasn't paying him for the job he did.

Mr. Garman (Anthony Roofing),assured us that his company had removed and replaced Gutter Helmet systems before and that there would be no problem with the system when they were finished. Upon completion of the roof the Gutter Helmet system did not function properly, and several panels were damaged. After many, many calls and emails, Mr. Garman (Anthony Roofing), came out to inspect the system. It was obvious that the system was not working properly, and Mr. Garman (Anthony Roofing), assured me that he would cover the cost to repair the Gutter Helmet system to return it to its original condition. The system was repaired by the Gutter Helmet people and works as it did in the past. Mr. Garman (Anthony Roofing), never returned any calls or emails when contacted about reimbursing us for the repairs to the gutter system. Mr. Garman (Anthony Roofing), did not respond to regular or certified mail. We sought legal counsel on this matter, and a suit was filed against Anthony Garman and Anthony Roofing. Mr. Garman has never responded to correspondence from our attorney or the Canton Municipal Court. During this proceeding, it has come to light that Mr. Garman (Anthony Roofing), violated the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act. This is all public record. We have received a default judgement in this case, which speaks for itself. INFORMATION FOR EVERYONE REGARDING ANY COMPANY Do your homework no matter who you hire for work on your property. Check Angie's list, the Better Business Bureau, the State Attorney General's office, and any public records from the courts in your area. Some contractors are dishonest and will not tell the truth to you about anything to get the job.

Upon the roofing job complete in April 2011... I had water damage in the foyer of my home that was "fixed" at that time... you can still see the discoloration caused by the leak. Recently, it was discovered in our upstairs where mold was throughout the space from the roof not being tarped the rainy day the work was being done and the roof being inclosed with captured the moisture allowing mold growth. It was also discovered by another roofer the ridge vent to our home is not up to code, therefore not allowing the correct airflow for ventilation. The attempts to fix this issue have been disasterous and has only created more problems that Tony is now refusing to pay for his errors. I would never recommend using this company... plain and simple.
