Four Star Carpet Cleaning

I went to their place of business to look at carpet samples etc. for my duplex. Their office was in a complete upheaval and there was no place to sit let alone conduct business. They had their children there and they were running around and carrying on. I ordered carpet for my duplex and PAID in FULL with cash but I did it in a parking lot because they were impossible to get a hold of so I met them at another job they were on at my inconvenience. Plus they kept giving me a different price as to what they originally quoted me. When they came to install it they were very late AND it was not even the correct carpet. ( I ordered grey and they brought bright blue) they said it would take two more weeks and MORE money for the grey I originally ordered but I had a tenant moving in the duplex in two days so this was NOT doable. SOOO I had to settle for the wrong carpet. His wife came during this and to say she was VERY rude and unprofessional is an understatement. I have NEVER dealt with a company like this before. I had so many issues with them it wasn't even funny. I was in tears most of the time. When they left they did not put my closet doors on the correct frames, I called them back within minutes of leaving and they said they couldn't come back. They said terrible things about me to other people. (Because I am in business and they said things to people I know and it got back to me). And in addition to all of this unpleasantness the carpet needs replaced already and it is only two years old. It is worn and coming apart and there is only one elderly lady living there by herself. To say I would never recommend them is being generous. I would pay double elsewhere just so I would not have to deal with them.

The carpet in my new home was really old and stained. The one thing I would like to say is he is my brother's next door neighbor. He did a okay job when he cleaned my carpets. I wanted him to clean my sofa after my dog used the bathroom on it. I asked my sister in law how come he refused and she explained the he is a perfectionist and would not do it if he could not get it perfectly clean. He also sells carpet and my sister in law wanted me to purchase it from him but I don't think I will. He never called me back so I had to find someone else to do the job for me. I will probably not use him again in the future.

He was excellent, and he did a beautiful job. He was responsive; as soon as I called him, he set the date to come out. He moved the furniture and everything around; I did not have to do any of it. He put little plastic things underneath the furniture after he was done. I was very satisfied. I don’t think it is a big company; it is just he and his friend. He was not expensive but very reasonably priced. I would rate him highly. I need to get him back out for more work.
