He is really good! I got them off of Angie's List, and I only use them now. They are always willing to work with you. I always request Robert, he is really good!
Description of Work: He put in a circuit breaker because my dryer was going out. I had a breaker go out 6 months after they came out, and they didn't charge me!

They ended up having to come back a couple of times after the work was done. They were on time. They weren't real good with clean up and they did leave some messes after they were gone. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: They upgraded our electrical panel & did some attic work, putting items in boxes for us.

We engaged Waibels based on an estimate of $1750.00 for the work needed. Their crew only came around when they had nothing else to do and so the work took weeks. Also some of the work was never done, even though we were billed for it, and some of what was done was done very poorly. (An expensive Bathroom light fixture fell off the wall and broke because it was never properly secured). When we were presented with the bill the price had increased by 127%.
Description of Work: Installed electric service for a new addition to our home. New Breaker Box wiring lights and outlets.

THE MEMBER DECIDED TO BE A GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR HIS OWN JOB. A PRICE WAS GIVEN TO HIM BASED ON A SKETCH HE HAD OF HIS ADDITION. HE WOULD CALL TO HAVE US WORK WHEN HE FINISHED A WALL OR A HALL TO "CATCH UP." HE WAS TOLD MANY TIMES THAT THE PRICE WAS FOR A ROUGH-IN ELECTRIC AND FINISH, THE WAY MOST JOBS ARE DONE, AND HE WAS ADDING TO THE COST HAVING US COME OUT THERE MANY DIFFERENT TIMES TO DO SMALL PORTION OF THE WORK. IT SHOULD ALSO BE NOTED THAT HE ADDED AN EXTRA AIR CONDITIONER, IN-FLOOR HEAT, ELECTRIC FIRE PLACE, ADDITIONAL OUTSIDE LIGHTING AND SWITCHES AND THE NEED FOR A SUB PANEL TO BE INSTALLED. THE BATHROOM FIXTURE PROBLEM CAME FROM HIM ADDING A MIRRORED WALL WITH THE HOLES FOR THE LIGHT FIXTURE NEARLY COVERED. WE TRIED TO ADAPT SOMETHING TO MAKE IT WORK. UNFORTUNATELY, ALTHOUGH WE WERE NEVER CALLED ABOUT IT, IT FELL. WE WERE TOLD ABOUT IT AFTER WE CALLED HIM ASKING PAYMENT FOR THE INVOICE THAT WAS 120 DAYS OLD. HE ASKED TO HAVE $100 CREDIT AND WE AGREED. HE WAS TAKEN TO COURT FOR BALANCE OF PAYMENT AND WAS ORDERED TO PAY. WE SETTLED FOR HALF THE AMOUNT DUE, TO END THE SITUATION AND MAKE HIM HAPPY. WE LOST AROUND $1,000 ON THE JOB. I BELIEVE THE COURT JUDGMENT SPEAKS FOR US AND THIS REPORT THAT WAS ISSUED BY THE MEMBER IS JUST A METHOD TO SMEAR OUR GOOD NAME.

They were very punctual and honest. Another contractor had told us we needed a whole house rewire at about $3,000. Waibel showed us all of the good things we had going for us and didn't take advantage of our concerns. The two gentlemen that came to do the work were professional and on-time. They put a tarp down when they worked and were very sweet to my little girl,too.
Description of Work: They inspected our current wiring and made suggestions as to how to lighten the load on some circuits. They installed three ceiling fans, rewired another overhead fixture, and added a dedicated outlet for an extra freezer. They were very reassuring. There was one other service we were inquiring about and they advised us that it would be a very time consuming extra and allowed us some time to consider the extra expense and call them for a follow up at a later date.

THEY DID SHOW UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE AND DID ANSWER THE PHONE ON THE FIRST CALL, WHICH IS HALF THE BATTLE. I WOULD NEVER ADVISE A WOMAN TO HIRE THEM.
Description of Work: I called them & told them the work that I needed done. They said they would be out in the morning and they could not tell me anything until they came out. The person that came was not the person they said would be coming out. I opened the door and I asked who they were and they just walked past me. They asked what work needed to be performed. They gave an estimate of a $500 minimum, and they were the highest of the estimates I got. They were just looking for things to take the price higher. They said they would not be able to give a written estimate. I said that if they to do the work that I would need a written estimate. They said that it would be a week before they could get the estimate to me. They were rude and said that they can only do the work with cash on delivery. That is not their policy, but that is what came out of his mouth.

Steve came and gave a free estimate, was on time. Sent two guys to come out the next day. They were quite competent. They said they were more of a commercial outfit, but also do some residential.
Description of Work: Replaced a three prong outlet to four prong for a washing machine/clothes dryer. Did not have to upgrade amp service.

STEVE, CAME OUT IMMEDIATELY TO QUOTE THE JOB. HE GAVE SEVERAL EXCELLENT SUGGESTIONS TO ENSURE THAT THE LINE WOULD BE COMPLETELY STABLE FOR YEARS TO COME. IT ONLY TOOK A WEEK FOR HIS MEN TO COME OUT TO THE HOUSE AND COMPLETE THE WORK. THEY ARRIVED AT 8:30 A.M. WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY FINISHED THE TRENCHING AND INSTALLED THE LINE IN LESS THAN 6 HOURS. STEVE ALSO CAME BACK IN THE EVENING TO TEST THE LIGHTS, AND TO ENSURE THAT WE WERE SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER ELECTRIC COMPANY AGAIN. THEY SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS!
Description of Work: TRENCHED A 200 FT LINE FROM OUR BASEMENT ELECTRIC BOX TO AN OUTSIDE BASKETBALL COURT IN THE BACK YARD. ALSO INSTALLED A THREE WAY SWITCH SO THAT WE COULD OPERATE THE LIGHT INDOORS AND OUTDOORS.

THE GENTLEMEN WORKED EFFICIENTLY AND WERE FAIRLY TIMELY. THEY COULD HAVE DONE MORE TO CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES, BUT WERE TIDY IN THE CRAFTSMANSHIP OF THEIR WORK. THE PRICE WAS AVERAGE BASED ON THE 5 QUOTES RECEIVED AND OVERALL EVERYTHING WAS HANDLED IN A VERY HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.
Description of Work: UPGRADED THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO 200 AMPS WITH A NEW PANEL BOX AND CIRCUITS, RERAN TWO LINES +/- 30 FEET AND CHANGED THE OUTSIDE SERVICE LINE FROM OVERHEAD TO UNDERGROUND BY INSTALLING +/- 150' OF CONDUIT IN TRENCH.
