It went okay and we are probably going to use them. We met with the guy and actually seen him at the Ohio State Fair before seeing him on Angie's List. We went back and forth a few times to set up the right time and he came out on time. My wife was here for most of it and I came in a little bit later, but it was a good explanation of his products and he worked up a price while he was there. He left with us knowing what it was going to cost. He brought samples of the carpeting and the padding. He had references, but he did not have pictures.
Description of Work: Treat For Your Feet came out and gave me an estimate for carpeting our basement.

Pete came out and gave us a fair estimate, then he came out and replaced the carpet. He was here when he said he would be. A very down to earth guy. You are dealing directly with the owner, which is nice. He did an excellent job.

I'd like to say, first of all, that the floors look beautiful & I am happy that I have new flooring. We ordered laminate wood flooring for our kitchen & foyer, and carpet for out adjoining family room. However, Pete's was a TAD condescending & acted very unprofessionally throughout the entire process. When I called to request an in-home estimate, he basically insisted that that my husband be present during the very long "sales presentation". Even after he arrived & my husband told him that he had to work (sometimes he works from home) & that I was quite capable to make this decision, Pete was quite insistent that no money or price was discussed nor was MY CHOICE finalized until my husband viewed my choices & gave his approval to Pete personally. We paid a 50% "deposit" the night of the sales agreement so that Pete could purchase the materials. We were told that the balance would be due upon completion of the job. We scheduled the installation & I was told that he would arrive between 10am & 12 noon on the first day of supposedly 3 days of installation. His reasoning behind the time of arrival was based on the fact that he had "many warehouses to visit to pick up materials & supplies". THIS was the reason given for each day's arrival time. I did not understand this - especially since he knew what materials he needed before he left my home the night of the estimate. He had ample time in the week before the install date to accumulate his supplies. Day One he arrived at 1:43pm & left my home at 5:30pm. When told that he would arrive the next day between 10am & 12 noon, I requested that he called my cell phone 30 minutes before he planned to arrive, because I had some errands to attend to. Throughout the entire time he was working he played his radio VERY LOUDLY on a talk radio program that was quite slanted against our president and other political opinions that were very disturbing. When I mentioned that the radio was too loud and that I didn't appreciate the choice of programming, he disagreed that it was one sided - and continued to play the radio LOUD. Day Two - He showed up at 11am - but did not call prior to arriving. He worked all afternoon & left my home at 6pm.I was out of the home for 3-4 hours of this days work, & upon my arrival home, I commented on how beautiful the new floor looked & then I left him alone to continue his work, but I did ask that the radio volume be turned down, because I had a headache. He turned it down slightly, but when I turned on my television, he turned up the radio... I turned up the tv volume and he turned up his radio... I finally pegged the volume on my receiver & he finally relented and turned down the radio. Day Three - same request to call 30 minutes before arrival. He called when he was 10 minutes away. He arrived at 10:30am and worked until 6:30pm. Loud talk radio was playing ALL DAY long. The laminate flooring was almost complete & I was aware that there would need to be a fourth day of laminate work. I was also told that he would arrive between 10am & noon, due to having to pick up more supplies (?) Day Four - he arrived at 12:30pm & completed all of the trim attachment & finishing touches. THIS day he did not listen to a talk radio program, but instead he played a book on cd... still very loud. Upon completion of the laminate floor installation, he told me that the carpet was "ordered but not made yet(?)" & that our scheduled install date (3 days later) was not going to work. He was to call me & inform when carpet was made & shipped to his supplier. At that time he requested payment. I stated that the job wasn't completed. He argued that the laminate portion of the job was completed & he needed to be paid for his work since he spent 4 days working here. "I have bills to pay too" was his reasoning. I paid him for the balance of the laminate floor, as nothing I said could sway his mind. I argued that the entire job was not complete, but that didn't hold weight. When I called him 10 days later to inquire about the carpet he returned my call that evening to tell me that my carpet was in & he would install it on the 2nd of November as scheduled. I stated that I wasn't aware of scheduling that day, but great ! I was anxious for my house to be back in order. I asked when he would arrive & was told "between 10am and noon because he needed to visit various warehouses to gather all of his supplies" ???!!! So I agreed, but suggested that he will need to add a bit of time because there were a few things that he needed to fix that I found with the laminate: 1 the transition to our finished basement was unsatisfactory, exposed carpet edge & exposed staples. 2 the pedestal sink in the powder room was not reattached to the wall. 3 The trim he installed under the door to the garage & back door was causing great difficulty when opening the doors & that it was ripping the weather stripping from the bottom of the door. 4 There was a piece of trim missing by the dishwasher. 5. The pantry door had fallen, & that I hadn't had any problems with that door in the 6 years that I have owned this house, until after he had removed the door for the installation. He got quite aggravated when I was saying all of this to him, & I didn't want to continue this conversation because it was escalating, so I told him that I was ending this phone call & we could discuss it in 2 days when he arrived for the carpet install. I then hung up. He called back 90 minutes later & said that he wanted to come by & speak to my husband & me about these issues in person. A time was scheduled & he did arrive right on time... but he walked in with an attitude already & stated "I know that you both have the perception that I talk down to you, & it seems to me that you talk down to me so I want to agree that we talk "across" to each other & give eachother the respect we deserve." I bit my tongue but nodded my head in agreement. I then proceeded to show him the things that I had concerns about, & each one he found a way to explain it away... the sink was caulked to the wall, & he said that it didn't have a clamp to hold it to the wall, & he was not responsible for reattachment.. the basement transition area looked that way because when he removed "that cheap metal transition that was originally there" (builder installed) covered up that ragged edge of the carpet & he was not responsible to correct a builder error... he offered to replace his "quality transition with that cheap metal one, if that was what we wanted" In both of those situations I told him that I would just find someone else to make the repairs. When shown the two doors that I couldn't open very easily, he did say that he could change the trim but that it wouldn't look as good as with the trim that he had placed there first. When I showed him the missing piece of trim by the dishwasher & stated that I had caught my toe on the piece that he had put there that was sticking way out from the other piece (looked like it was supposed to be trimmed when the ""missing"" piece was installed) he told me that it was not able to have any other trim and that I had to "get used to" it being that way & in time I would avoid breaking my toe on the trim (???). He was getting more & more angry with each simple flaw that I pointed out. When we started discussing the pantry door - he became irate, red in the face & was practically shouting that he did "nothing" to that door except remove it & put it back- that there must have been something else wrong with the door.... At that point I said, not once but three different times (while he was still ranting about how he has been in this profession for 20 years & he knew what he was doing) I stated, "just forget about all of the complaints, I just want my carpet installed the next day & we could be done with eachother". He then told us that he would deliver the carpet but that he didn't need to install it for me.... he came to work for me voluntarily, but he didn't need to work for me any more... I was incredulous... not believing what I had just heard, & asked again "you mean you will NOT finish this job?" & he said again that he would deliver the carpet but not install- that I hadn't complimented his work once & somewhere along the line I had "changed gears" & wasn't appreciative of his quality work... that he had saved us thousand of dollars & that he had been in the profession for 20 years & never had this problem before. We asked him to leave at that point. He stated that he would deliver the carpet the next day - sometime between 10am & noon - ! The next morning he called, & stated that he "might have overreacted" & asked if I still wanted my carpet installed. I said yes, please come and finish this job and then we will never have to see eachother again. He did show up at 11:30am, helped me to move an aquarium & the big screen television, & completed the installation of the carpet. He did ask at one point if I had a radio as he forgot his. I had been listening to a station on my computer & I told him that THAT was the only thing I had for him to listen to. During that morning, we had a death in the family, & I had some corresponding to do on my computer & I turned off the radio stream so I could concentrate while talking on the phone or typing emails... he asked me if I had forgotten that he was listening to the music and needed it to hear so he didn't think while he was working! I find it very hard to believe that in 20 years in this profession that he didn't have ONE flaw or complaint about an installation, and that I was the only one that had expected better service. His reactions to my complaints were very unprofessional, unreasonable and childish. Some of his actions while doing the installation were also unprofessional....... I have had workers in my house MANY times over the past 30+ years and NEVER was I so disrespected. I would not recommend this man to anyone............ ever!
Description of Work: We had laminate wood flooring installed over lineolium as well as a 4x6' area that had marble tile by the front door which Pete removed. We also had new carpeting installed in our family room. I had to stain the trim that was to be installed next to any cabinets and will have to paint the white trim that was installed in the remainder of the kitchen and foyer.

Pete came and quoted on the job and provided what we believed to be the best quality carpet at the lowest total cost. He arrived on the date promised and completed the job in less than two days as promised. His work was very thorough and we're very satisfied with the result! The only problem I had was the number of pieces of thread that remained on the surface of the carpet. When I vacuumed the carpet after Pete left these "strings" of carpet plugged up the rotating brush on our vacuum cleaner and caused the drive belt to stop and burn out. It should be noted that this would be a general problem with any carpet installation. I just wish that I would have expected or would have been warned that this could happen, so that I could have avoided the need to fix our vacuum cleaner after the job was completed. I would certainly hire Pete the next time we need to have flooring of any kind installed. I offered to be a future business reference for Pete.

First and foremost, let me say that I am pleased with my carpet and the installation. Initially I was a bit put off by being asked if I was married. When I asked why, he stated that I might want to have my husband available to help make a decision when he came out for the free estimate. I learned he was just concerned about having all the decision makers present to make his trip efficient, and he just framed it in a way that sounded misogynistic, so I got over it. We had a few run ins before the job because the scheduling got changed and I did not feel he kept me up to date with what those changes were. I understand that things happen, just felt he could have done a better job of keeping me informed as I was scheduling around him also. I shared this concern with him, and we eventually worked through the issues. The real problem came when he started working. He brought a radio that he played very loudly. The station was talk radio and very political and very negative. After about an hour, I asked him to please turn it down, and he started to argue his politics with me. I said I did not want to argue, just wanted him to turn it down. He did, but after an hour, turned it back up very loudly. Finally, after he had been there about four hours I asked him again to turn it down as "it was just too much". My interpretation of his response was that he was angry, and he again began to argue politics again. His voice was raised and his face had an unpleasant expression. I repeateded several times that I had respected him all day, but now it was time to end it as we had listened to the same thing over and over for hours, but he continued to argue with me until I left the room. I felt very threatened at this point to be alone in my house with him, and called a (male) friend and asked him to come over to act like my "boyfriend". After that, there were no more problems and he completed the job and left. I did follow up with him a few days later and discussed my concerns. He told me he felt it important that people talk about politics and religion and he often did that with other customers and no one minded. In fairness to Pete, he called back again later and said he had thought about my feedback and he apologized. This review is not to be vindictive, but to simply share what my experience was.

I am a professional flooring installer with 17 years experience getting consumers triple the value for the cost of the low quality builder-grade products that are sold by retail. I follow that up with PERSONAL INSTALLATION by the owner of the company (almost unheard of in this industry). I work very long and hard to extend that value and savings to my customers, as my other ANGIE’S LIST reports reflect. On the day of your installation the news topic of the day was the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to the President. The radio host simply posed the question "What has the President done to date (9-16-09 at that time) to warrant the award?" You responded by saying "Can you believe the HATE that man is spewing?" When I simply engaged in conversation and asked if that was not a fair question, I guess that was when you felt I began to "argue politics". I do have fair and reasonable discussions with customers as I am working in their homes. No one is forced to be congenial, and I don't feel that talking with people is rude or offensive. Yes, I did apologize that you received it as offensive, and I AM sorry that you took it to be personal. I don't believe you realize that when you asked me to turn the radio down, I did. And when you asked me to turn the station, I did. That being the national news topic of the day, it was discussed on more than one channel. Your frustration with me grew for reasons I didn't understand at the time, but I continued to give you the best possible installation. At no time was I ever threatening toward you, either verbally or physically. I do not hate women, or anyone else for that matter. The fact remains that, in spite of all the misunderstandings between us, the reason for the many reports with "straight A's" is that I CHOOSE to extend triple the quality for the price out of a sense of service to the customer; even the ones who are offended in the delivery of it. Enjoy $8.00 / sq. ft. retail luxury that you paid $4.09 sq. ft. for (installed w/ pad). That literally saved you over $1700.00 on your purchase. Glad to be of service.

It went very well-from obtaining the estimate to the install. The 1st time he came out to show us his product we were short on-time but that did not stop him from measuring, showing us samples and giving us an estimate. The second visit was after I decided to hire him, but we wanted to go over color options once more. We gave him a deposit and he returned about a week later for the install. He arrived around noon and left about 7 pm. I had many questions for him about carpet and flooring in general and he patiently answered all of them. The carpet looks and feels great.
Description of Work: I've seen Pete at several home improvement shows around Columbus and was interested in his sales pitch-high quality carpet at a price below "big box" retailers. We were shopping for carpet for a basement we were finishing (about 400 sq ft). He came out and gave us an estimate right on schedule. We had him come out again and show us more samples (colors) after getting estimates from 3 other sources-Home Depot, Rite Rug and Empire. We went with Pete for 2 main reasons: his quality was certainly better for the price and I liked the idea of dealing with a small, local tradesman. He came through and did the install within 1 week. It looks and feels great and I am glad we went with him. He also gave me good advice on laminate flooring I was considering for a living room.

THANK YOU, ED, FOR YOUR KIND WORDS. AT Q-SQUARED CARPETS AND LAMINATES, WE BELIEVE STRONGLY IN THE "LOCAL TRADESMAN". BEING A FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS, WE TRY VERY HARD TO RIGHT THE WRONGS OF SOME OF THE "BIG BOX" STORES OUT THERE. MANY PEOPLE THINK THAT WITH THE GIGANTIC MEGA-STORES COMES SAFETY AND SECURITY, ALONG WITH A LOWER PRICE. WHAT WE HAVE HEARD THROUGH THE TESTIMONIES OF HUNDREDS OF OUR CUSTOMERS IS JUST THE OPPOSITE. WE BELIEVE THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD PREFER TO SAVE $100'S OF DOLLARS IN EACH ROOM AND GET TRIPLE THE QUALITY OF MATERIAL. WHEN ALL THE RETAIL MARK-UP AND EXPENSIVE OVERHEAD IT TAKES TO RUN TEN MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR STORES OUT OF YOUR POCKET IS ELIMINATED, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS! NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT THE CONCEPT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RESURRECTED, AND BACK ON THE TABLE. WE DO PLAN ON KEEPING IT UP, AND YOU'LL GET A FREE ESTIMATE ON THE LIVING ROOM, WITH MILL-DIRECT PRICES AS WELL.

The overall experience was good. The only critique I have with Pete, as well as a majority of the rest of the home improvement contractors out there is they make assumptions about women as sole homeowners. I am knowledgeable about the industry and the work that needs to be done. I don't appreciate being talked down to. I don't appreciate being preached to about faith in a business setting. A note to homeowners out there who call this contractor...be prepared for the estimate to take a long, long time. He is very passionate about carpet and will teach you what he believes to be quality carpet. I do recommended Q2 to anyone thinking about installing new carpet. His installation is top notch.

I QUITE OFTEN FORGET TO COVER THIS AT THE ESTIMATE, BUT THE FACT THAT MILL-DIRECT ELIMINATES ALL THE RETAIL MARK-UP AND OVERHEAD OF MUTI-MILLION DOLLAR STORES, WAREHOUSES, EMPLOYEES, BENEFITS, SALES COMMISSIONS, SUB-CONTRACTORS, AND EXPENSIVE TV ADVERTISING, THEREFORE SAVING THE CUSTOMER $100'S OF DOLLARS IN EACH ROOM...IS THE VERY REASON THAT MATERIALS MUST BE PICKED UP FROM 2-3 DIFFERENT WHOLESALE LOCATIONS ON THE MORNING OF THE INSTALLATION, AFTER HAVING RETURNED PHONE CALLS AND TENDING TO OTHER MORNING BUSINESS. THE "MILL-DIRECT" METHOD HAS ME ARRIVING AT THE HOUSE TYPICALLY BETWEEN 10 AM AND NOON. AGAIN, THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY FOR CLARIFICATION.

When the builder of our new home could not properly install carpet without it stretching into waves on the floor (the original installation, replacement carpet, and two re-stretch jobs), Pete showed us how his carpet and expert installation would solve our carpet problems. Pete power stretched all the carpet, meticulously treating each area as if it were his own house and carpet. He is extremely professional and particular about his work -- saying on numerous occasions, "Do it right the first time!" For the first time in the last 5 years my wife beamed with delight at our beautiful carpet. Pete Palm is a very competent, professional businessman who is ethical, honest, with great pride in the quality of his workmanship. We would call on Pete immediately if we ever moved and were in the need of carpet. Pete Palm receives our highest recommendation.
Description of Work: Pete sold and installed new carpet throughout our house to replace our builders carpet installation, that was improperly done four different times.

The carpet is great. I feel that this company works very hard. I also feel that they did an overall good job. I feel he was honest and helpful. The carpet is good quality and I really like the fact that the cats cannot pull it.
Description of Work: He sold me carpet and installed it. For a nominal fee he also adjusted the door to fit the new carpet that he installed.

ALTHOUGH OUR EXPERTISE IS FLOORING, PERIPHERAL NEEDS AND REPAIRS CAN OFTEN ARISE. OUR POLICY IS TO FIX THE PROBLEM, NOT COVER IT UP WITH THE FLOORING. SOMETIMES WHEN CHEAP, BUILDER-GRADE CARPET IS REPLACED WITH TRIPLE-THE-QUALITY MILL-DIRECT CARPET AND BETTER PAD, THE PILE HEIGHT CAN DIFFER TO THE POINT WHERE THE BOTTOM OF DOORS MUST BE TRIMMED. I'VE BEEN TOLD CARPENTERS CHARGE $40 PER DOOR, BUT WITH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AS OUR TOP PRIORITY, Q-SQUARED CARPETS & LAMINATES PERFORMS THE SAME SERVICE FOR $25 PER DOOR. THIS IS PART OF OUR QUEST FOR EXCELLENCE, AND WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER AS COMPLETE CUSTOMER SERVICE AS POSSIBLE. I'M GLAD IT SUITS YOUR CATS, AS WELL!

Pete [Palm ] was a very enjoyable fellow to work with. He 1st came out and gave me an estimate for the job that needed done. Then we set a date for him to do the actual repair, and he was here and gone within an hour. He is VERY professional, and I would recommend him to anyone. And, he liked the pup! He was just a joy to work with and very considerate of my home and furnishings.
Description of Work: My puppy was shut in the family room while my son took a shower. The pup wanted out and tried to "dig" her way out, thus tearing up the carpet under the door. It was down to the padding and looked terrible.

REPAIRS ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE FLOORING INDUSTRY. SOME RETAIL ESTABLISHMENTS ACT LIKE IT IS BENEATH THEM TO PERFORM MENIAL TASKS. OTHERS ATTACH AN UNREASONABLE PRICE TO SMALL NEEDS, IN AN ATTEMPT TO SATISFY THE OVERHEAD AND MARK-UP REQUIRED. IN SOME CASES, THE REPAIRS ARE DONE, BUT TO SUCH A LOW LEVEL OF QUALITY THAT THE CUSTOMER IS LEFT THOROUGHLY DISCOURAGED. THE FACT IS, IF AN INSTALLER IS COMPETENT, A REPAIR CAN, AND SHOULD BE DONE PROFESSIONALLY, AND AT A REASONABLE PRICE, WHILE STILL RESPECTING THE CUSTOMERS PROPERTY AND BELONGINGS. THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE.

PETE WORKS ALONE. HE MAKES SALES CALLS AT NIGHT AND INSTALLS DURING THE DAY. WHEN HE CALLS ON YOU, HE IS NOT HIGH PRESSURE, JUST EXPLAINS SOME OF THE BASICS OF CARPET PURCHASING AND GIVES YOU A PRICE. HIS INSTALLATION WORK STANDS ABOVE ANYONE THAT HAS DONE THIS FOR ME IN THE PAST. EXCELLENT SERVICE, PRICE AND QUALITY.
Description of Work: REPLACED CARPET IN FAMILY ROOM LIVING ROOM, HALL AND STEPS. ALSO NEW CARPET IN BEDROOM.

I WISH I COULD FIND PAPERWORK ON THE WORK THAT YOU SAY I DID FOR YOU. JUDGING BY THE AMOUNT OF THE FIGURES YOU QUOTE, IT MUST HAVE BEEN A REPAIR, OR A VERY SMALL BATHROOM. EVEN AT MILL-DIRECT PRICES, NOT MUCH GETS DONE IN FLOORING FOR JUST A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS. IF YOUR FURNITURE WAS NICKED, IT SUGGESTS A FULL ROOM OF CARPET, AND THAT JUST DOESN'T SEEM TO ADD UP. AS FOR HIDDEN CHARGES AND A RAISED PRICE, THE REASON WE GIVE A FREE, NO-OBLIGATION, IN-HOME ESTIMATE IS SO THAT WE CAN CORRECTLY ASSESS THE SITUATION, AND PRESENT THE CUSTOMER WITH A PRICE, ALONG WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO DECLINE THE WORK,IF IT SEEMS UNWARRANTED, OR OUT OF PROPORTION. IF THERE WAS ANY AMOUNT OF SLOPPY WORK DONE... THAT IS EXACTLY WHY WE HAVE A LIFETIME CRAFTSMANSHIP GUARANTEE. I WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE THE CHANCE TO CORRECT THE ILL-WILL EXPRESSED IN THIS REPORT.PLEASE CALL, I STAND BEHIND MY WORK...HONESTLY.

I APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS WHAT IS REFERRED TO AS A CARPET "RESTRETCH". THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS, CARPET DOESN'T WRINKLE!!! IMPROPERLY INSTALLED CARPET WRINKLES. IT USED TO BE THAT CARPET INSTALLATION WAS A TRADE, IT TOOK A COUPLE OF YEARS AS AN APPRENTICE BEFORE A JOURNEYMAN QUALIFIED AS A MASTER MECHANIC. NOW, IT SEEMS ANYONE CAN BUY A COUPLE OF TOOLS FROM A PAWN SHOP, SPEND A FEW MONTHS WORKING FOR AN INSTALLER, THEN, ABRA-CADABRA... THEY ARE YOUR CARPET EXPERT! BE WARNED, IN MOST CASES, THERE IS NO "RE-STRETCH", BUT RATHER A RE-KICK, WHICH IS PRECISELY THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. CARPET NATURALLY RELAXES WITH TIME AND TRAFFIC, AND UNLESS IT IS STRETCHED BEYOND IT'S ABILITY TO RELAX AT ORIGINAL INSTALLATION, THERE IS AN EXCELLENT CHANCE OF POOLS, PUDDLES, OR WRINKLES AT 3-5 YEARS. ONE MAJOR CLUE IS WHEN THE INSTALLERS WANT TO CRANK UP THE FURNACE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. THE WARMER THE CARPET, THE EASIER IT IS TO KICK IN. NORMAL, ROOM-TEMPERATURE CARPET SIMPLY CAN'T ARGUE WITH A POWER-STRETCHER. EVEN MANY OF MY ELDERLY CUSTOMERS, HAVING HAD CARPET REPLACED 3-4 TIMES IN THEIR LIVES SAY "WHAT'S THAT?" WHEN I PULL OUT MY POWER-STRETCHER. THERE'S JUST NO SUBSTITUTE FOR PROPER INSTALLATION.

AT TIMES, THE SURPRISES THAT ARE SIMPLY COVERED UP BY PAST FLOORING INSTALLATIONS CAN BE TAKEN CARE OF WITHOUT HAVING TO ADJUST THE LABOR OR MATERIALS PRICE. UNFORTUNATELY, SOMETIMES THE EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM GOES BEYOND THE RANGE THAT CAN BE ABSORBED BY THE COMPANY. OUR POLICY IS NOT TO THROW OUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND GIVE UP, OR TO COVER IT BACK OVER AGAIN LIKE THE LAST INSTALLERS, BUT TO DO IT RIGHT, FOR THE HOME-OWNERS SAKE. WHENEVER POSSIBLE, THE CUSTOMER IS MADE AWARE OF THE SITUATION, NOTIFIED OF ANY ADDITIONAL COST, AND ASKED FOR CONSENT TO PROCEED. WE AT Q-SQUARED CARPETS & LAMINATES FEEL THAT THIS IS THE FAIREST AND MOST HONEST APPROACH TO THE UNFORESEEABLE SITUATIONS THAT AN IMPERFECT WORLD CAN TEND TO THROW OUR WAY. THANKFULLY, YOUR CASE RESULTED IN THE EASIEST OF ALL POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS. GLAD TO BE OF SERVICE, PETE.
