I called Sheridan and he came over within the week to provide an estimate. He thoroughly explained what was needed, what his service provided, and how it works. We agreed on an installation date and he did the rest. He contacted the electric company to come out and shut off my power, he worked all day, and explained everything to me when he was done. He was easy to contact, he showed up on time, and stayed until the work was completed. He was polite, knowledgeable, and professional.

We hired Mr Electric to replace our existing electrical panel. After an initial inspection Mr Smith presented us with several options and set a date to complete the work. Mr Smith arrived on time and finished the project in one day. The quality of the work was excellent and his professionalism was superb. For any future electrical work we not hesitate to call Mr Smith and the Mr Electric Company.

Sheridan was great. He was easy to contact and I was able to set up an appointment within a week of my initial call. He completed the work as discussed. He was helpful in identifying and discussing future issues. Great local company!

Sheridan arrived early and was very professional and responsive to the work at hand. It was a cold wintry icy day, he was very respectful of snow on his boots and placed covers over his boots as to protect the flooring. He quickly assessed the job to properly determine why the outlet was dead. He determined that loose wiring in a outlet socket on the back of the house was the culprit, and he immediately fixed the wiring..Next, Sheridan fixed the hanging kitchen outlets expeditiously. While trouble shooting he found an improper exposed wire in the garage that needed to be properly enclosed in a grey safety box. He quickly installed the box and Sheridan explained the process as he proceeded. He cleaned up after himself when the job was completed and I scheduled another appointment to do another job.

He put in an outlet behind the tv and installed a ceiling fan. He also secured the electrical panel to the wall in the basement. It was the first time I had used him. I ended up having to pay double for extra hours. He was nice. He had to repair a hole in the ceiling but you can still tell that it was spackled.

Sheridan arrived at 9:00am and worked till the job was completed at 7:00pm. He was very conscientious and articulate about his work. I was very impressed with his attention to details and making sure everything was correct and safe. When the system was completed it was tested and my wife and I were made aware of how to correctly use the generator and transfer switch. Sheridan made sure we were comfortable with the total operation. When the generator work was completed I asked Sheridan to do another much smaller job the following week. He completed that work with the same respect for my property and professionalism as the first. I will call Sheridan for any other electrical work I need.

This guy was excellent from start to finish. He was very professional and did a great job. I am not an electrician by any means, but he made it very easy to understand what he was doing. I would recommend them.

.Mr. Smith understood what we wanted, and I left him to do the work. The one question he had was which side of the reversible paddles we wanted to show. He was very efficient, and had the installation done in just over an hour. He repacked the box the new fan had come in, and cleaned up very well. Even though the light switch was not mentioned on the coupon, he did not charge us extra. When he had finished, he showed me the work, made sure I was satisfied, and that everything worked properly. We will definitely use him again.

Sheridan Smith responded to my call within 5 minutes of my call to him. We set a time for 11:30 am the next day. Another potential candidate called back much later the same day and was unable to meet my timeline. Still another called back a day later after the work had already been completed by Sheridan. Sheridan arrived exactly on time. My original plan was to have him quote the job. After he quoted a "no higher than this..." value, and explained why, he asked if I wanted him to work on the job that same day. I was surprised and pleased and said yes. I showed him the details of how to get into the attic and where I wanted the light fixture and wall switch. Sheridan was very careful to protect my furniture, carpet and walls. And he cleaned up everthing before stating he was done. It took a few hours to complete the job and clean up. Everything was perfect. In addition, he made suggestions about the light bulbs that might work best for the effect we had in mind. And he was right. He also made some hardware upgrades that I was thankful for. Sheridan is a very pleasant person with whom to do business. His high quality standard and knowledge were evident. Oh, the price...since the wall switch drop from the attic was easier than it might have been, he cut the cost by $50. I would definitely have Sheridan Smith of Mr. Electric work on my electric again if I need it.

He is very meticulous. He is completely trustworthy. There was a little bit of a communication problem. I plan on using him again.

Sheridan was very responsive. He came out and did a site inspection the day after we contacted him so we appreciated the fast service. He was able to begin the project 2 days later. He spent 2 days here 8 hours each day. He wroked constantly so we felt we got our moneys worth. Overall it went very well.

Overall it went fine. He arrived promptly at 8 a.m. Had the electric off by 9 p.m. He worked alone this day. He was very conscientious of not getting our house dirty and wanted to use the basement door. This was fine with us. He did pull his van into our yard against our better judgement, and he did get it stuck. However, I wont let that affect how I feel about his work. He was here all day long by himself. He did not leave my property until 9:30pm. He his VERY detail oriented and reviews everything. My new mother board looks great. He cleaned up the area nicely an even attempted to clean up some of the mess he left of my yard. It took several attempts to get him unstuck out of my yard. He very clearly felt awful so I didn't get too upset. He threw in about $350 dollars worth of upgrades for the trouble. An electronic surge protector and a nice solid grounded outlet near the box for my partners Man Cave. He also promised to return to fix the yard. In reality, it is the electric work I am judging him on and he did an outstanding job. The yard, well, its just grass and we will get it fixed. I would definitely hire him again. Just make sure you understand the time frames clearly as he is VERY thorough!!!! ***UPDATED 3/24/2012*** Sheridan has returned twice to fix our yard. He did a VERY professional job, added dirt, tamped it down, and put in some high grade grass seed. It looks beautiful. I am completely happy with him and will use him again in the future.

Mr. Electric of Fairfield County was prompt, courteous, and professional.... and even put on shoe covers while in our foyer! We needed some fluorescent lighting installed in our basement, some outlets repaired, and a hanging light installed. Our home is older and as the technician was working he pointed out some concerns he had about our circuit breaker but did not pressure us at all to get it fixed right away. He informed us that electrical codes have changed significantly over the years since our home was built and that ours was not in compliance. We now know what needs to be updated electrically to make our home safer and we can choose when to have it done. YES, we will definitely have Mr. Electric of Fairfield, County do all of our electrical work! We highly recommend this company!

I called Mr. Electric of Fairfield County and spoke with Sheridan. He was very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. I had experienced bad situations in my past with using unlicensed electricians, and was looking for someone that was licensed. I found that with Sheridan from Mr. Electric. He arrived at my house and again showed great professionalism. He began with repairing my landscape lights. I then decided to have him install a ceiling fan I had purchased over a year ago, and had not had installed yet. He performed all work with accuracy and seemed to be prepared with everything he needed. After all the work was completed, he cleaned up everything and left my house and yard the way it was when he came. I was very impressed with the service and would recommend Mr. Electric of Fairfield County. I will definitely being using them in the future.

Sheridan, an employeeof of Mr. Electric, arrived to our home and beat my expectations on what customer service is. He was pleasant to speak with and gave a detailed presentation of the work before it was started. He is very detail oriented and professional.
