+ -1 moreWe just went out, met with them and took the granite. They did it all in one day. It was great. I think it was in the morning and we had it by afternoon. We love it and they gave us lots of information on how to care for it. They didn’t tear up anything that we had in the process. Their price was good. The quality was excellent; just like as it was in the showroom.
Description of Work: We actually had a new island granite top put on by Home Depot.

+ -1 moreWe had 9 blinds we needed to be installed. They sent us an amazing installer. He was super nice, professional, quick, reliable, and willing to do what we asked. He cleaned up any debris he may have caused by installing the blinds and they looked amazing afterwards.

Description of Work: Ordered click and lock flooring from Home Depot. Checked display and circa 20 samples. What they delivered has very wide color variation much wider than display in two stores or samples.. Asked installers not to use the lightest and darkest planks and left a sample of lightest and darkest for them to match the planks to since I could not take off from work. The installer did NOTHING. No carpet removal, no moving furniture, no installing of planks. He told my neighbor who was there that he had NO EXPERIENCE installing click and lock floors. He also called my neighbor "Pretty Boy." Home Depot reported that I would have to take out all the lightest and darkest boards myself and lay the floor out the way I wanted it. I actually agreed to do this and to pay for extra boxes of wood if needed- then they told me A. They could not guarantee I would get an experienced installer 2. I would have to pay extra fees if after laying out the floor I did not have enough wood and they would have to come out again to deliver and install it- so two extra fees. They doubted my report about the installer's inexperience and unprofessionalism. I decided to cancel the order and cut my losses. Home Depot has not yet decided what to charge me for cancelling the order and having them pick up the wood. I would never buy anything from Home Depot again and would not trust their installation service- it is not theirs, they are a seperate company. If you can install it yourself or have a trusted installer you would have a better experience. Their prices seem good. The $4800 is what it would have cost me for the wood and installation over about 450 sq. feet including stairs, which are more $.

+ -1 moreWe went to Home Depot and we are using the Ultra Premium Behr paint and we took a shutter in and they were able to color and brought it home and we have even painted over some of the old and we can't tell it as the color matches perfectly and the quality of the paint was there and consumer report has been rated top for a long time, so that is why we chose that. We have really found the color matching to be wonderful. The service was wonderful. The price is comparable. When we like the stuff, we need to pay more.
Description of Work: We used Home Depot for interior painting.

+ -1 moreFrom the people working in the flooring department (whom acted like we were bothering them) to the person who came out to measure. We have never had such bad service at Home Depot as we did as this one. Brice Road will get out business. We were going to spend $900.00 (maybe that is not enough money for them). Home Depot in Canal Winchester will never get any of our business again (and we have a more home repairs to do).
Description of Work: Talked to John/flooring at Gender Rd. store we needed flooring for the kitchen. We showed him the measurements that my husband took & he stated that it would be around $800.00 (as he looked in the air for the amount). He did say there might be enough left to do a small bathroom. We said that would be great & also the area entering the living room. Filled out paper work for measurements to be taken. Measurements were taken in the kitchen (he started to leave) how about the bathroom (measured started to leave) what about this area as you enter (looked at it) & left. Melissa called on Fri. ask for a return call to her or the flooring dept. Called flooring spoke with Josh said the total would be 909.70. Went in on Sat to pay, nothing was explained to us just sign here & pay Not Friendly. We rec'd a call on Mon from Melissa some of our tiles have to be removed & cannot sell this order to us. (no mention about us taking up the flooring for them). We cancelled this order & will not return.
