Description of Work: Gary painted our 1868 house inside and out--as you can imagine this is difficult going with original windows and trim. He then discovered that our 2000 Pella windows had leaked and rotted. Without that discovery we would have had a great deal of destruction to the rest of the house. As it was, we needed to replace some of the subsiding. To look at, the windows looked fine but he noticed a strange bubbling of the previous paint job. He has painted for us both in this house and our former house--his painting is meticulous plus he notices and reports any other problems he might see with the house--hence the Pella window discovery.

+ -1 moreHe does a lovely job. I had terrible walls and he is very meticulous so he hates them. I would definitely have him come back again. He did extra things too like if cabinets aren't closing right, he will fix that. For example I had an attic fan that he painted then he ordered a cover for it. So he does extra things while he's there, he is a perfectionist. He is very trust worth, just a good person. You get what you paid for. I would say the price might be a little on the high side. If you go low, I had some people come here for low work and these people had to repair their work. So I would say it's okay, it's probably a good price.
Description of Work: I had to remove wallpaper in my kitchen and bathroom. The walls were very damaged so he had to Spackle and repair them. He also painted the hallway, bedrooms, and closets.

+ -1 moreI HAVE ALSO USED THEM IN THE PAST FOR OTHER EXTERIOR PAINTING. I GIVE THEM AN A+ IN ALL CATEGORIES! THEY ARE OUTSTANDING. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW GOOD THEY ARE! THEY DID EVERYTHING VERY WELL. I HAVE GIVEN THEIR NAME TO OTHERS. THEIR BILL WAS LOWER THAN THE ESTIMATE THEY GAVE.

+ -1 moreI HAD TO CALL TWICE BEFORE I GOT A RETURN CALL. AFTER COMING TO THE HOUSE, HE SAID HE WOULD MAIL AN ESTIMATE. AFTER 10 DAYS, I LEFT ANOTHER MESSAGE AND HE FINALLY SENT THE ESTIMATE. HOWEVER, THE COST WAS MORE THAN DOUBLE THAT OF ANY OF THE OTHER 3 COMPANIES WHO GAVE ESTIMATES.
