Joe did a fantastic job! Can't tell there was ever a problem.

Today, September 5, 2017, my Angie's List deal with Construct Ohio expired after six months. For the last five months I have been trying to schedule my Angie's List deal, with employees at the company and supposedly the owner of the company. Not once have I been able to schedule an appointment with them. I have tried multiple times to reach them through Angie's List messaging, with no response. When I called the company, they would only take my name and tell me they would call me back and they never did. Finally I got a telephone number, supposedly of the owner of the company and yet I got no further than with his employees. The first time I tried to leave a message, the voicemail box was full and wouldn't allow me to leave one. So I'm guessing other people have the same problem I do. The next time I called I left a message with all my information and I never heard from him. No response. No satisfaction. No work. But they did take my money.

I explained what I wanted to be done. When I got home from a business trip, I saw it had not been done the way I described. I called him and he came out again and we did the job together, to my satisfaction.

After missing 1st 2 scheduled appointments, everything went well

Bought coupon for gutter repair, guy on the phone told me I should call original gutter company as gutters were probably under warranty. I did and they were, but the original gutter company asked for a list of what needed fixing. Reached back out to Construct Ohio, requested to apply my coupon to a gutter inspection that would give me a list of what was wrong. They agreed. Gave them my phone number, told them to call when they were on the way, but to proceed if I couldn't be there. Gave them my email to send the results of the inspection. Followed up after not hearing from Construct Ohio, was told guy who did the inspection left for a cruise without submitting it. Was told they would do another one and send me the results. I've followed up several times since and each time been told they would get right on it, without ever hearing from them. Sometimes I had to follow up a few times before they would respond. Almost a month after the original guy supposedly came out, I'm wondering how long was this cruise? If he did the work and didn't submit it, surely he's back by now. Either way I'm done with them. This coupon seems to me to have been a bait and switch, and they just weren't interested once they realized there'd be no switch. Just bought inspection package from another company.

Very well. There was some confusion getting the work scheduled, but crew arrived on-time and performed quickly and professionally.

It was fine. I may employ them later to get leaves out of the gutters in the fall. I think that he is very honest and competent.

He did the work. Thought the price was high given how little time he spent. He offered to help with a warranty on the roof and six months later never heard back.

The roof was completed in 1 day and looks very good.

They had to reschedule both services once. Otherwise, it went well. Joe, whom we worked with was great at getting the insurance companies to help get payment. He was lax at keeping us informed at crucial points in time, but the fact that he's knowledgeable and personable went a long way.

It was okay. They were fine, I just wish that they didn't have to come back out for something they did that's all. And the mulch is all over the place. I had them look at my insulation and he told me you know, I need insulation and they sent me a quote. I had someone else out to look at something else and I said, oh by the way, can you check my insulation. And their like, oh you don't need insulation it looks like you had some put in recently. Not recently, it looks like you had some put in, you don't need anything you're at a good level. I'm like okay.

It took a few weeks, but Adam called me to schedule a time to come out. I explained the things I needed maintenance on and he asked me to send him pictures as well. I sent pictures before the apt. date which was on a Friday afternoon. The time past and he never showed up and never called to say he was running late or needed to reschedule. I called him and he apologized and said his sister just had a baby and his phone was acting up. So we scheduled another date and time. Again, he never showed. I called him and he said he was running behind on some projects. You would think he could have called me and let me know. That would be what a professional would have done. He said he could be my way in about an hour. I said okay. Then he called and said he didn't have his ladder needed for my house and he would have to go pick it up. By this time he was already late 2 hours. And said it would be another 45 minutes. And he wanted to know if that was okay with me or we should schedule for the next day. I said that would be okay because I really didn't want to deal with him anymore. He showed up about 3 hours later. I showed him a gutter that fell off and asked him to hang it back up. And then check the roof and siding for other maintenance issues. He hung the gutter which took him 15 minutes. It needed a piece on the end of the gutter as well, but he never replaced it. Just told me I needed it. This service was for maintenance not for inspection. I then asked him how my roof looked. He said while he was hanging the gutter that fell off (one small piece) he said the roof looked fine. He never once got on the roof and never once walked around the entire perimeter of my house. Where he put the gutter on there was a lot of discoloring on the siding I asked him about. He mentioned they could power wash it but since he is coming form further away that I might find someone closer in my area that would be able to do it cheaper than him. I never got the service I purchased. I get 15 min maintenance and 15 min. of him talking about me getting someone else to help me. I got 30 min. of his time. I would never use this company ever again, and I would never recommend anyone to use them.

With a week Joe completed the initial inspection of the roof inspection and attic space. He reported there were "low spots" and said the 500 sq ft of insulation would level those out. He also estimated the cost of increasing the R value. After consideration I said I only wanted the 500 sq ft of insulation. Joe has cancelled two scheduled visits and now is non-responsive to my messages. This is my first time using Angie's List--also my last. I basically paid $99 for someone to look at my roof from a ladder and tell me it looks okay.

Very friendly and trustworthy. Hired them to do basic roofing and siding, then contracted them out to complete other chores: painting, maintenance, and sanding.

I rated them a C because I am still unsure if anyone walked my roof. I found shingles, but there is no damage. I would have preferred a written estimate or some pictures or something. I know I only paid $79, but that's what the offer was for. Maybe they do great work... maybe I am just lucky a bad unneeded shingle fell off my roof. I would have rather had some better communication. Polite on the phone and professional, but what was really done?

Very smooth. Cleaned up nicely. Joe was a very friendly and cooperative person. He even found areas that I thought needed insulation but he showed me that it did not.

The insulation was completed, however paid for and still waiting for the vents to be installed and clean up of patch work that was told i wouldn't be able to see.

Person was on-time, actually early, very courteous, friendly, and professional. Gave a very clear explanation of the roof’s condition and completed any caulking needed and replaced 3 shingles which had been blown off.
