They were very nice. We took a little while to connect due to a death in the family I believe. We ended up using someone else but I would consider them for another project. They could do the work but it wasn't their speciality that is why we choose someone else.

We hired ACI on Jun 4th to repair the damage that resulted from the hail and wind storm of May 25th. For 2 weeks the two 70 ft trees laid on the deck, sunroom and backyard waiting on ACI to cut down and remove. Not until Jul 20th did ACI offer a shingle selection for roof replacement. ACI finally finished the simple deck repair on Aug 1. They began the roof replacement and sunroom rebuild on Sep 23rd. The insurance claim wasn't going to cover the entire cost of the sunroom replacement so we made a deal with ACI to offset the cost of the sunroom rebuild with the cost of some of the repair the insurance company paid for but we could do without or that my husband would repair himself. Once insurance checks started arriving ACI convinced us not to sign the agreement the mortgage compny required to establish account draws, to instead sign the checks over to them. During the work I repeatedly requested an itemized bill forthe scope of work, so I'd know how much out-of-pocket expense I'd incur from the sunroom rebuild. Not once did ACI provide such a breakdown. Not until I contacted the owner Mr. Tim Stauffer to request a bill in Jan 2012 did I receive an invoice for work accomplished backdated to Dec 2011. After my request I received from ACI as their bill a an invoice with a toplince cost of $44,500 with amounts subtracted or added based on the insurance adjusters paid claim even though the insurance adjusters claim has a topline of $39,970. The $44,500 is not based on any documentation to substantiate their invoice. I've contacted ACI about the discrepancy but they refuse to adjust their invoice to reflect reality. My husband and I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Rick Rogers reviewing his numbers and trying to convey where ACI is overcharging us by the amount of Profit and Overhead the insurance company has already paid them. They are attempting to be paid twice for the Profit and Overhead. Actually ACI admitted they were overpaid $4,532 of Profit and Overhead by the insurance company but stated their is no law requiring the repayment to the insurance company. I corrected 3 transposed numbers above. ACI incorrectly lists Grange as our homeowners insurance. Our Homeowners insurance company is 21st Century, with Homesite Insurance Company of the Midwest as the underwriter.

I don't know about the total price because it was covered by insurance. We had other things done in the house like windows installation and so forth by others. They were great. I would recommend them to anybody.

They did an absolutly wonderful job. Two of our neighbors were so impressed that they had them do their roof as well. They also cleaned up after themselves very well.
