they showed up on time to give estimate. they were very reasonable in price compared to 3 other estimated. no high pressure sales technique which was refreshing. The installers where a little late with no phone call but nothing too severe. I called the office and was assured they would be there shortly and they were. once they got started they were very professional and polite. the work was completed within promised time. the installer were clean and neat and did a very good job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Very Helpful Will use in thr future

I am so impressed with this company! My central air unit stopped working on a Sunday. I researched providers on Angie's List and decided on Pickerington Heating and Cooling. I emailed them and asked if there was any way I could get a very late afternoon appointment the next day. I received a call from a very friendly lady at 7:30 am on Monday; she was calling to schedule me for a late afternoon appointment that same day! The technician, Josh, arrived on time, was professional, and friendly. He went right to work diagnosing the problem. I was very nervous about this because I know that my central air unit is older, but with my daughter starting college I did not want to have to replace it at this time! After a while Josh came in and asked me to turn the air on--he had gotten it working! It was just a wire that had come loose. I was so completely, totally relieved! I knew I was in a very vulnerable position; it would have been easy for a less-scrupulous business person to take advantage of my ignorance on the subject and tell me that my unit wasn't fixable and I'd have to have a new unit. I really appreciate that kind of integrity! There is no question that I will be purchasing my unit, someday, from this business. Unfortunately, my furnace is the same age as the a/c, so they will be getting that business, too. I asked Josh for several business cards because everyone at work knew of my air conditioner quandary and I will be repeating this story many times over! One last thing, as Josh was coming in and out of my screen door, he noticed that it was not opening/closing properly. I had known something was wrong with it, I just hadn't been able to figure out what it was. Josh looked at it for a few seconds, called me over to show me what was wrong, pulled out a screw driver and began repairing it on the spot! How nice! I couldn't believe it, I was very, very impressed. If you have need of a/c or heating service, this is the company to call without a doubt!

It was a very basic service. It was good for what it was. They came within the next week after I purchased the big deal. It was pretty quick. There were no extra charges. Overall, the deal was really good. It was a good price. They were prompt, professional and on time. It was easy to get them scheduled. It was a great experience. I would use them again, definitely.

Technician tried to push me to buy a new furnace. He tried saying that the problem could be one of several different things, and the only way to know would be to start replacing parts until the problem was solved. The implication being that it could get fairly expensive quickly and we would still be fixing a 10 year old furnace. The tech did not use any diagnostic equipment. I called R.N. Smith for a second opinion. Their tech had an 80% certainty of the problem just by the verbal description. He then quickly diagnosed and confirmed the problem with a pressure meter and fixed the furnace for under $200. UPDATE - I've changed the overall review to C from D. Pickerington Heating and Cooling did refund the service call fee and I am confident that they have used this as a teaching experience for the technician.

FROM OFFICE TO FIELD PERSONNEL EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY, HARD-WORKING, PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I awoke on a steamy summer morning to find my A/C was not cooling the house at all (it was 82 deg. inside!). My wife (who is 8 months pregnant!) was not comfortable at all. I called and someone answered after two rings. I explained the issue and the gentleman on the phone was looking over the schedule trying to find a time that they could fit me in. He was able to get me a time window of 11am-2pm, but he told me it would probably be closer to noon. Josh arrived at about 11:30 and it only took him about a half hour to diagnose, repair, and check my system. Josh was very professional and courteous. He fixed the issue and advised me of some useful tips to keep my A/C running efficiently. I will be calling Pickerington Heating and Cooling for all of my HVAC needs!

These folks are excellent. They completed a repair that another vendor botched up. They were prompt on their service and professional all the way through the job. They got their part of the repair covered under warranty and took care of all the needed paperwork to get the job done. Thanks will always use these folks in the future

Now that my husband and I are retired, they give us a discount. They give us a discount if we are a regular customer. Their prices are unbelievable. They do a really good job. They don’t charge us for stuff they don’t do. They are good. I had an old fridge that I needed to have Freon removed from. They don’t do that anymore. But they gave me the name of someone that will come and haul it away for free which has nothing to do them. They give good referrals. They really try to help us out.

Went well...very nice people. Internet search showed some better prices, but to be fair, those prices were materials only. The people at Pickerington Heating and Cooling were very nice and did a good job. When they came to investigate the problem from my initial call, the owner's son came out and saw children at my house and put a rush on the installation. I appreciated that.

The estimate appointment was quickly scheduled and the representative was on time. They were honest, thorough and I really feel that this company is ethical and stands behind their work. I would use them again for HVAC.

We had a great experience with Pickerington Heating and Cooling. They were prompt, punctual, and professional. We initially purchased a coupon for heating and cooling check-ups, but we learned that we had some pressure drop with our AC unit. Pickerington H&C suggested to use Easy seal to remedy the problem. They clearly explained how the product worked and gave us statistics to base our decision on. We are very glad that we did it. We just had another semi-annual check-up, and everything checked out just fine. We would highly recommend this company.

It took a long time. The installer had to make multiple holes in our water line. A few weeks later we noticed water on the floor all around the unit. It turns out they installed a filter incorrectly. They fixed it immediately but all in all they did not seem professional at all.

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of Pickerington Heating and Cooling, they were on time to the minute and finished early. I had a home humidifier installed and felt this past winter I could tell a huge difference in my 100 year old home. Also, before leaving I was shown the dirt and dust accumulating in my vents and recommended to have them cleaned at some point. I was impressed that he said, "I don't have time in my appointment to clean the vents and install the humidifier today, I just wanted you to be aware that you may want to look at having your vents cleaned in the future." I was ready for the hard sell of "I'd love to do this today for an extra $X." Very prompt, polite and clean. I would use them again!

Pickerington Heating & Cooling gave me an estimate, which was much more reasonable than the first company I called. I talked to Kip and he scheduled the installation. I had to call back and re-schedule and there was no problem at all. Their prices were great and everyone I dealt with was courteous. Overall, I had a great experience and I would definitely use them again.

I called Pickerington Heating and Cooling after two other companies didn't call back. I was happy to find out they were open on Saturday so I didn't pay an after hours rate. They tried to fix my furnace but it had ran its course. Since it was the weekend before Christmas they gave me some heaters for the rest of the weekend and installed my new furnace on Monday, Dec. 24th. It was great to know that our holiday wouldn't be without heat.

The tech called me on his way out to our house to tell me when he would arrive. He explained and showed me what he did to tune-up our furnace/AC. He explained how this would help the system. My wife and I are interested in having a humidifier installed in the future and I discussed this with him. He explained that a humidifier might be difficult to fit in the closet that contains our HVAC and the work it would require, and gave me an unofficial estimate. I had bought a new programmable thermostat and he showed me how to install it. Very knowledgable and helpful. I will use him to install a humidifier this fall.

Went very well. I received a call when they were on their way and met them at the house. Took a couple of hours and I was given an overview of what was done and instructions what maintenance would need to be done annually.

The experience went well from the first contact thru the final installation. I found the company thru Angie's list and they had an A rating. I had been researching humidifiers on my own and had narrowed my choice down to two possibilities. The person I spoke to asked me a few questions and then recommended one of the humidifiers I had identified in my research. The price I was quoted was very competitive, so I went ahead and scheduled the.installation. The serviceman arrived as scheduled and completed the work in just over an hour. He had to remove an old humidifier and repair the duct work before he could install the new one. He cleaned up the work area and even hauled away the old humidifier and bulky duct work. We now have a functioning humidifier and the furnace room looks much neater than it did before he went to work. All the work was done at the price quoted over the phone. I would definitely recommend Pickerington Heating & Cooling based on this experience.

The service was excellent. They were very timely, professional, and they took their time and did the work right. They ran into a couple of issues with the work but they did a great job. We were happy with them.
