He was prompt and courteous. After checking out the unit, he told me I had a part that was borderline close to failing. I decided to have him put in the new part, which he had available and was on his way. He didn't pressure me in any way, but I appreciated knowing about the potential for breakdown and decided that it was a good time to go ahead and replace the part before it went out in the middle of a heat wave.

Was contacted quickly to schedule. Appointment was set up for 8/4 between 9 a.m.-Noon. I requested that I be called prior to their arrival so I can ensure my dogs are not out. Noah contacted me to let me know he would be arriving within 20 minutes. He came right on time and was in and out in less than 45 minutes. He was very friendly and did a good job.

the technician showed up on time. Inspected and cleaned the A/C unit. Gave me the service repair options. Did an excellent job and had an excellent price. I plan on using this company in the future.

The office personnel set the tone by communicating via email in a timely manner to confirm the service and scheduling and make necessary arrangements for the replacement filter. The provider arrived promptly and was both courteous and professional in performing the assigned tasks. I was given a verbal report once the service was completed and was impressed that a written report was offered via email shortly after the work was completed. Its information is now in my home maintenance file for future reference. I have already recommended Pickerington Heating & Cooling to others and have listed them as a "preferred" provider!

I had trouble with my old A/C and Pick Heat & Cooling fixed it, but also informed me that the compressor was going out. It was making an awful noise and the tech showed me the pressure gauges while they were monitoring the A/C. Long story short, they credited the money I spent for a new start capacitor including the service call and labor towards the new unit. They recommended that I just run the old A/C until it died, so they weren't trying to sell me a new unit. I thought about it for a few days and decided that I just wanted to go ahead and replace the A/C with a new one. They had to order the unit because of it's size (4 ton). They installed a new "A" coil on the furnace and new condenser/compressor outside along with new lines, new electrical disconnect and new base for the outdoor unit. They arrived within the timeframe they said and it took them about 3.5hrs. They cleaned up all of the trash and did an excellent job! I will continue using them for all of my HVAC needs and I will highly recommend them to friends and family.

Warranty on the unit but had to pay the labor to have it installed again. I don't have a problem with that at all. Great people to deal with and I would recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. These guys are professionals all the way. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

It turned out OK. They do very nice work there and they were very easy to work with.

It was fine. It did not cost us more than the big deal amount. They just came and did the service. They were very thorough in what they were doing. The quality of work was fine.

Polite and professional. Spent a full hour inspecting my furnace and air conditioner. Did a full inspection and maintenance of the outside heat pump. Indicated that the unit was working properly, but indicated that we could have a failure of a specific part sometime this summer just due to the age of the unit. Provided a verbal estimate of the work. Also, the technician went above and beyond to glue my PVC drainage piping from my furnace (because my dogs always knock it all loose when they are in the basement.) My inspection report (even though we went through everything after he was finished) was promptly emailed to me for my records. Based on this experience, I would certainly call them again for future repairs.

Company provided competitive prices. They took the time to speak with me multiple times over the phone and answer all questions. Service reps arrived on time. Completed the job quickly. Answered any and all questions I had. Hauled away old ac unit. Company is owned by good caring people. Overheard a conversation while scheduling appointment over the phone- lets just say it's nice to know this company takes care of our elderly community. Would highly recommend. Thanks!

They were able to come out the same afternoon that I called. The service tech, Bob, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He quickly diagnosed the problem as the compressor start capacitor. After replacing the capacitor, I was telling him about the strange noise the unit was making when it shut off. He hooked up pressure gauges and the pressures on both the high and low sides were fluctuating, but were in "range" of where they needed to be. He turned the A/C off and it made the noise which was like a loud whoosh. He watched the gauges during this time and sound was caused by the high and low sides instantly equalizing. So bottom-line is that that compressor is worn out. He said it's hard to say how long it may last. He also said that if I decided to replace the A/C within 30 days, the money I paid for the capacitor replacement would be credited towards the purchase of a new unit.

I called the morning of the service and they said they would work me in that day. For this I was very appreciative of their willingness to accommodate me. Our air conditioning went out the night before after we had it serviced by another company. They called before they came to our house and arrived within a half hour. A team of two individuals came and quickly diagnosed the problem and said it wasn't a "big fix" . It turned out the problem was the capacitor. They said the cost of the capacitor was $98 and the labor was $92 for a total of $190. The fix was quick and took less than 20 minutes. I said I was concerned that the previous technician may have overcharged my system and they had not done a leak test. They said a leak test would cost an additional $165 so I opted not to do it. The system has worked fine since. The main objection I had to the service was the cost. After looking online to see the cost of a capacitor was between $2 to $30, I was aggravated that there was a 300% markup. Although the response was quick to perform the repair, it was performed on a Wednesday during normal business hours, so I could not justify emergency rates, so the labor rate of $92 seemed excessive for 30 minutes work. However, since they were able to come out within such a short amount of time, I would probably keep them in mind in the future if I needed a quick repair.

I used Angie's list to find a A/C company to come out and check out my system in our new home. In the last few days, it hasn't been cooling as well and the thermostat continued to go up in temperature. The house had been getting more and more uncomfortable with the high heat and humidity. I know this is a busy time of year for these types of companies, but I was extremely impressed that they were able to fit me into their schedule and were willing to come out and check out my home in less than 24 hours from my initial phone call contact with them regarding the issue. It ended up that before they made it out, my husband was able to get the unit fixed so I let them know to save them a trip out to the house. However, the wonderful customer service and quick response to my need was highly impressive and should I need these guys in the future I would definitely give them a call.

The service worked out great. The humidifier is still going strong. We had a problem with static electricity and the humidifier has made the problem go away during the winter months.

Went perfect we bought a new water heater and furnace with warranty on both. Installation went well they took the old water heater and furnace for us. Looks amazing and works amazing. They cleaned up any mess and made sure we were happy customers.

After 22 years the Lennox A/C installed when the house was built finally gave up the ghost. We first called the company that had serviced it for years but were very disappointed in the quality and price of their proposal. We've seen the PHC truck in the neighborhood before, and seeing such great reviews on Angie's List we gave them a call. Kip readily worked around our schedule to meet us late one evening and gave us much more information about his products, and how the Comfortmaker line compared to Carrier who owns them. Being an engineer I really wanted to dig into the details, and Kip helped by pointing me to some less-known dealer websites where I could find a lot more technical information. The combination of features, exceptional 10-yr warranty on both parts and labor, competitive price, hugely positive reviews of PHC's work, and Kip's patience in working with me convinced us to go with PHC. The installation went fairly smoothly, although it ended up taking part of a second day rather than the one day we were told to expect, and I would have preferred to know ahead of time that they would have to make two new penetrations in my outside wall for the furnace intake and exhaust vents. Both service technicians were polite, professional and took special care to clean up when they were done each day. The real test of PHC's character however, came when I received my warranty card and discovered that a different model A/C unit had been delivered and installed. After notifying Kip, he provided me with information on both units so I could decide what I wanted to do, and from the outset he assured me he would take care of it to my complete satisfaction. In the end I decided I really wanted the correct unit for its additional "communicating" features, and I received absolutely zero pushback from Kip. He was good to his word and the correct unit was swapped-in in less than a week. Our house is more comfortable, we love the added features of the programmable communicating thermostat, and the new system is noticeably quieter. I would recommend both Comfortmaker and PHC without any hesitation!

I used an Angie's Deal for them to clean and inspect my furnace. I was given a 3 hour time frame for them to come and do the job. When they didn't show within that time I called, they apologized and sent someone within the next 15 minutes. The technician told me since they didn't show when they said they would he was authorized to do a cleaning and inspection on my A/C as well as my furnace for no additional charge. I was pleased with that. The tech was very knowledgeable and took the time to show me things for future reference with regards to filters and humidity controls. He was very patient and courteous and explained everything he did.

They scheduled an appointment for the next day, less than 24 hours after out call. It was a hot day in June with no A/C and I had called another company with no response and I figured it was a common type of problem. They called back an our later and said that they were ahead of schedule and a technician was in my area and could be there by that day to look at it. He should up, was very polite and considerate and determined that the motor was bad and replaced it on the spot.

The delivery tech that came out was very kind quick and knowledgeable about all equipment. The tech even fixed the furnace drain for free although this is a small thing not a lot of companies would do this for their customers. He thoroughly went through how to use the new and made sure we didn't have any other questions or concerns. We will be using this company in the future for other heating and cooling problems.

They did a good job and are very reasonably priced. They were very responsive; got out quickly to do the estimate, followed up with the estimate right away and also were able to get the installation done very soon after the estimate. We were very happy with their service.

I am so pleased with this company. When I phoned they scheduled my service immediately and accommodated my work schedule. Brett showed up right on time and was very nice and professional. We turned the unit on from the thermostat and, just from the sound it made, he knew what the problem was. He went outside to confirm and checked to see what else might be wrong. He gave me a verbal rough estimate and said at worst it would be $500. He said he would check on the price of the parts and call me with a better estimate. We agreed that he would come back the next day after he got the parts and instructed me to leave the A/C set to come on when I left for work. Brett left and called me within 20 minutes with the estimate including parts. The next day the work was finished while I was at work. Brett called and said the work was done and that he had checked the freon level and, while there did not appear to be a leak, it was down and he added what was needed. That brought the total to just over $500 but I was fine with that and I paid via credit card over the phone. This company seems to know their business well and they try to make it very easy for their customers to get the service they need. Brett could not have been easier to work with. I will definitely use this company again.

The technician was courteous and respectful. When he found that the problem was a clogged filter he did not try to make us buy their filter, but replaced it with one we already had. Very trustworthy and professional. They are now my first call for all of my HVAC needs.
