I saw Angie's List deal for whole house humidifier and purchased it. They contacted me back, agreed on the date and time. Two guys showed up on time (actually a few minutes early), and took them less than one hour to install the humidifier and test it. Very clean, professional and courteous. I will use them again.

Kip gave estimate and was great to work with. He is fair and very knowledgable. The techs they have are all very good. They are clean and work like clock work. Every man has a part. The product was ComfortMaker line 96 furnace and 13 seer 2 ton unit and they reworked all the plumbing and the sheet metal that was not correct from last company. I look forward to energy savings and a long relationship with Pickerington for services. The unit carries a 10 yr. parts and labor as long as it is serviced annually. Again great people to work with. My central air and furnace is linked. While running my central air I noticed a leak coming from the seam of my furnace wall. I checked Angie's List (AL) and found that current specials were only offering maintenance. I called this company and explained that I am an AL customer and only need someone to look at what is causing the leak. The nice lady that answered the phone advised that I purchase the maintenance special and mention the leaking. She said that I would be charged more for a service call if I don't purchase the AL special. Worker arrived on time and started with the maintenance work first by cleaning the AC unit outside. He said to himself that the unit was not installed properly but did not say why. What I have learned is that if I am not following the worker around and asking questions, I usually get overcharged. So I asked him what is wrong with the install and he said that it is too close to the house because he could not reach behind the unit. He finished hosing down my unit, went to his truck and returned with refrigerant. He proceeded to hook it up to the unit. I asked what was he doing and he said that his handheld device is saying that it needs refrigerant. I asked if that was included with the AC check and he said, no it is $50 per ton. And continued to hook it up without asking if I could afford it. I said, I'm not having any problems with the cooling as a matter of fact it cools too well where I cover my vent in my room. I told him, look, before I pay an extra $100 for this refrigerant, let's go in the basement and look at my main concern, the leak. He unhooked the refrigerant we we proceeded to the basement. It turns out that the leak was caused per words on receipt: "Arrived 5:25, cleaned outdoor coil, found condensate clog causing coil leakage, cut out broken piping, blew out clog and re-did drain line. now draining properly, all operations performing well at this time. Trane unit not installed properly, still performing well, subcool value of 13." After fixing the leak on inside the house we returned outside to take another look at the meter reading the refrigerant. He said that I do not need refrigerant and that sometimes the meter doesn't read correctly when the unit is wet. So, I am glad that I was over his shoulder to stop him from adding refrigerant and saving $100. Although the young guy answered my questions, he did so reluctantly. At times I would have to ask him twice what is that for and why did you say the unit was not installed properly etc. before he would answer. Most of my questions stemmed from his comments after checking the reading of his devices or looking at the unit. He would make a negative comment or gesture but not explain. So naturally, I want to know. Then he tried to flip it and started asking me questions, where do you work, what do you do, how do you calculate that when you work. I picked up on what he was doing. One reason I went with this company is because of AL's reviews on how the workers explain what they are doing before they make a repair. I would use this company again but I would not want this young worker to come to my house. I think with more experience he will learn how to better communicate with the customer without snide remarks.

This was one of the Angie's special deals. He came on time and was friendly. He was young and seemed to be new. I just got the impression that he was not as thorough as the technicians from other companies who had previously checked my heat pump and furnace,

My husband and I got to know Pickerington Heating and Cooling very well over the last week as we had some major issues with our AC unit. They had to come out 3 times to investigate and replace various parts. Our problem was that our AC unit would cool down the house to the temperature set and once it reached that temp, the heat, for some god forsaken reason, would then kick on. The team and the "big guy" as they call the owner were professional and prompt in getting to us. Even though we spent a lot of money and the issue wasn't fixed on the first two visits, it was resolved in the end and actually saved us from having to replace the heat pump which is around $5000. It's now been almost 24 hours and we haven't had the problem start up again. Hoping it stays that way but if not, we'd call these guys again. Happy with the service and result overall!

I called the provider at 8am and was surprised when service call was scheduled the same day! The guys showed up on time. They were clean and professional. They told me what needed repaired, an estimate on repairs was received in less than an hr. Instead of repairs to my 17 yr old unit i opted for a new system. They are installing it on Friday.

Scheduling was just fine. He was a very nice guy and took extra time to answer my questions. It was a summer inspection and tune up. He did a great job.

This was fine! Scheduling went great. They just did a cleaning. The technician was really helpful and explained everything. He told us what preventative maintenance we could do.

Very professional and honest. Hadn't had A/C serviced In 5 years. Told them that up front and they said it looked good and didn't try to sell stuff I didn't need .

Did a quality job, but I always felt the goal was to sell an additional service. They did not try to sell anything that was not needed, but everything from new filter, more coolant, replace capacitor was mentioned. I did have the capacitor replaced and the guy did a good job showing me the need. On the other hand, the coolant was below full and instead of talking to me about the need for coolant I was simply told the level is low and the cost would be XXX to fill. I had to ask about the meaning of having the level less than full before I found out it should be OK as long as I was happy with the cooling level. .

They did an excellent job! They came out, checked it, told us what we needed. They didn't pressure us to buy anything. I would use them again in the future if we needed to.

They were efficient, nice, and I have no complaints. They were very thorough and took their time. They were very friendly. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Everything turned out quite well. The technician was timely and professional, did a good job with the tune up, and provided very helpful information on how to care for the unit which I appreciated.
