It was fine. The tech was courteous & efficient. He answered all my questions. There was a problem with the water discharge box that the tech quickly assessed the situation and the appointment to replace the box was a couple of days later. I also bought a one year service plan because of the tech's efficiency.

I was very pleased with the responsiveness and efficiency of the business and the technician they sent. I asked whether they had an automatic spring/fall tune up program (spring A/C and fall furnace) with reminders, and they do, so I signed up for that, too. (You pay ahead for the two annual tune-ups at a discount, and they call you to schedule them for the season--I don't have to remember!) The tech did not try to up-sell me on anything, but I used to have the automatic tune-up with another company until they changed hands and no longer offered it. I look forward to continuing to work with Pickerington Heating & Cooling.

Came out, did system diagnostic and let us know that the system was operating well. Appeared to be very honest; offered the yearly furnace/air unit service plan.

Jason Explained everything well and was very Kind. He tweaked our system to make sure it was perfect and put up with all my questions.

I had a really bad initial experience with the technician they sent. He was unprofessional, and unable/unwilling to complete the service. They did however tell me to get a refund from Angie's List since they couldn't complete the service. After writing a negative review on here, the company contacted me to try to make it right. They told me to continue to pursue the refund, but also offered to send another technician to complete the service free of charge if I was willing to give them another chance. Considering all the other reviews had been so good for this company, I decided to try. The second experience was night and day different from the first. Noah was incredibly nice and professional from beginning to end. He called before arrival, and showed up promptly at the beginning of the 3 hour time window like I requested. He was very informative while he completed the inspection, and explained everything as he went. He was able to complete everything, which the first technician said couldn't be done because our AC was too old. Our AC and furnace are 30 years old, so obviously old and in need of replacement, but Noah never came across as pushy for a sell. He also gave us an estimate for replacing the units like we requested. It meant a lot that the company reached out to try to fix a bad situation. From what Noah said, this is a family business, and you can tell they care about wanting to make sure their customers are happy with their service. I am happy to update my review to reflect my final experience. I am only giving them a B because of weighing in the first negative experience, otherwise it would have been all A's.

Very pleasant, did his work. Called first before coming. He offered a recommendation for the different type of filters. I would recommend them to anyone.

He was prompt (a few minutes early), and good at explaining what he was doing. I was happy enough with him to ask for a service contract.

They were fine. They did the work very well. They were right on time.

Scheduling was prompt, courteous and easy. Arrival was a bit late, but he called in advance. He checked everything on their checklist. A/C performance is much better now. System is old, he recommended getting a new one.

Did not clean AC so will need to have that done again.

Purchased a Big Deal for a tune up for $30, for exactly that and also to see if there was a bigger issue since we had been hearing lots of loud noises. Tech was very friendly did the tune up and tried multiple times to diagnose the noise but it was not happening while he was there. We had another tech out the following week and he identified the issue within minutes and could see a piece was bent and that was the causing the intermittent noise.

Professional, would definitely use again

Took care of all inspections, testing, cleaning of ducts, and changing of filters in less than an hour.

The technician, Chris, was very professional and helpful in answering my questions. I appreciated the fact that he recommended holding off on the furnace tune up until September or so and it made sense to wait, since I would not be using the furnace for several months and there was the potential for some problem to develop meantime. However, he was nice enough to fire the furnace up so that I knew that it worked (I had been unable to get it to turn on). He checked the AC out, verified everything was in order and made some recommendations for keeping it clean and functioning at maximum efficiency. I was happy with the work and education. ;)

I was very happy. The tech, Noah, was completely courteous and professional as well as right on time. He called prior to coming to let me know he was on his way and when to expect him. He gave me all pertinent details and information. Highly impressed and will use again.

The repair went well! We now have cool air wonderfully circulating throughout our home! Shawn and Ricky provided prompt, courteous and professional service. They were able to remove/replace our old conditioner in a much shorter time than anticipated. They also provided, free of charge, an on/off outside switch for times they would need to service the unit while we were away. That was VERY thoughtful. What they dirtied up, they cleaned up. And they took the old unit away. Also, Shawn suggested repurposing the cement disk that was originally used under the old unit. What a great idea! I would definitely recommend this company and the technicians!

The A/C unit was new in 2009. The tech who came pointed out that the refrigerant was down about a pound. He didn't know if it was installed with one pound less than it should have or if it was a leak. He replaced the pound,only charging me $50, and would come out next year to see if there was a leak.

I got a $49 Big Deal. He came when I was on my way home from work and was gone by the time I got home. He said everything was fine. Didn't mark his visit on the record sheets on the furnace. Truthfully, I have no idea what he did or whether his service was valuable.

Had to call them to get done they wanted to move appointment again. They sent guy out first thing in morning. Wasn't here long, said he serviced ac everything is good.

Noah said everything was working just fine. I was thrilled because I thought maybe we would have to get a new motor or an entirely new A/C. Unfortunately, the weather got hot a few days later, and the A/C stopped working again. It was just blowing warm air and the fan wasn't turning on. I called Pickerington back, and they sent out Noah again. By this time I had just shut off the whole thing. When he came out, he couldn't see anything wrong with the unit. He was perplexed, and told me just to keep the A/C on if this happens again. That was he can come out and see the problem happening. He didn't charge us anything even thought he drove all the way across town and it was 6pm on a Friday. After a cold spell, we finally turned on the A/C again this Monday, and we scheduled Noah to come out again on Tuesday. He was finally able to diagnose the problem, which turned out to be a little fan manager which had short circuited. Because or new thermostat already has a fan control, he simply removed it. He only charged us for labor, which was $56. I'm so happy that Noah was able to fix our A/C for a total of $134 when I had thought we were going to have to get a whole new unit. Noah could not have been more professional, polite, and easy to work with. We will absolutely use him and Pickerington Heating and Cooling again.

They arrived when they said they would and worked hard to complete the job in a day. They were friendly and professional. They worked neatly and didn't leave a mess for me so clean up. They did what they said they would and we couldn't be happier!

It all went well. They did good great work!

I called Thursday afternoon to have them check on my air conditioner that would not turn on. They were able to schedule me for the next day between 1-5PM which was a pleasant surprise. Noah called me at 11:45AM on Friday to tell me he could be to my house earlier than 1PM (another pleasant surprise). After assessing the situation with my air conditioner, he quickly was able to diagnose the problem as a fault in the source voltage to the furnace. He removed the problem (a faulty safety disconnect switch) and the air conditioner and furnace began to work without a hitch. While he was there, I also had him perform a maintenance check of my air conditioner. He recommended replacing the aging capacitor and contactor on the A/C as they were the originals from the 1999 model. I agreed to the work as the prices were very reasonable. I also requested a quote to replace the old 1970's thermostat with a programmable digital model. His quote to replace the thermostat was significantly lower than some others I had received so I requested for this work to be done as well. During the whole process, Noah was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. It took just under two hours to perform all the work which I could not have been happier with. I would recommend this company to anyone needing any HVAC repairs as they were prompt, knowledgeable and their prices were very reasonable. I will definitely use them again when needed.
