Very well. The tech was very nice and well informed.

Setting up the appointment was easy. Noah showed up at the time promised and greeted me courteously. He explained everything he was doing in detail and answered all questions that I had. There was a part (a capacitor) that was more than 50% out of tolerance so I had him replace that - it was stocked on his truck so it took no extra time. He also managed to get the unit working much more quietly which was much appreciated since it is just outside our screened in porch. I would definitely use this family-owned company again.

Didn’t include the one area I needed cleaned, the dryer vent, I read through the offer and did not say anything about not cleaning dryer vents..

Techs put gauges on freon system and said everything should be working fine, but lacked experience and could not figure out what was wrong. They blamed lack of airflow and opened up all of our registers and dampers, which botched up the air balance on the system, but still didn't fix the problem. The owner agreed to refund our money if we tell them how it got fixed. We hired a larger firm who left their gauges on for a longer time and noticed the TXV was not maintaining pressure and the evaporator coil was icing up. We explained how the larger firm diagnosed and fixed our system and the owner returned our check as promised.

They called before they arrived. They were professional on arrival. They used booties in the house and verified T-stat was working and fan was operating properly. As an engineer, I wanted to watch their procedure and they had no problems with me looking over their shoulder. They inspected outdoor unit and noticed contacts were pitted on contactor which probably led to sporadic starting. After my agreement, they quickly replaced the worn part. Overall, the experience was positive and the crew was experienced and professional and I would hire them again.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal for $39, even though my A/C was working fine. Since the weather has been very hot, I just wanted to make sure everything was in good working order, so this Deal was just right for that. I was given a 4 hour time when they would be here and they arrived about the middle of that time frame. The technician called when he was on his way. It turned out everything was in perfect working condition. The technician was very efficient, pleasant, and thorough despite struggling with seasonal allergies (I can relate!). I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Tech Carl was great--professional and informative. Right on time, quickly diagnosed and repaired unit (bad capacitor). Repair was completed within 90 minutes of my initial call to the company.

They were pretty good. I had a positive experience. There was an issue with the install. They came back right out and fixed it for free. I liked that they were flexible with scheduling and how responsive they were.

They charged $69 for the furnace check. We have a nice big house, and all the windows are in the back of the house, the office and the area that we use upfront has always been cold. We brought that to their attention, and we also got a new furnace about 2 years ago, and the situation was still existing, so I called them up and they came over. They said they checked everything that they possibly could, but the situation was not corrected. My son and son-in-law came up with a solution for the problem. We moved the thermostat from the dining room to up in front in my office. It was a portable thermostat and when we set the temperature, it set the temperature that is in that room, that means that I had a cold office when we put the new thermostat in there, it picked up the coldest and then we got heat all over the place. We resolved the problem by my son and son-in-law and I don't know where they came up with that, but it works. We have no problem heating in the house now, or air conditioning in the house because the thermostat is in the inner part of the house.The thermostat talks to the furnace electronically and it regulates the heat from my office, and not the back of the house where we have all the windows and so it gets all the sunlight. We have a pretty good relationship with the company, and they have been coming here for years. They are due to come out and check the air conditioner any day now.

I first got them on a Big Deal and I've since used them and they are very good.

I have used Pickerington Heating & Cooling for many many years. This time when I had my air conditioner's yearly maintenance done, the technician explained to me, after inspecting the unit, that I needed an air compressor. He explained that a new compressor would cost $2500 BUT a new unit would be $3175. I was in shock and disbelief. I have kept up with maintaining my air conditioner and furnace every year. AND it had worked just fine last season. So I got 2nd opinion next day, from Angie's list. Found out a wire was not connected and the protected installation had broken apart. I then immediately notified the manager at Pickerington Heating & Cooling and explained my situation and how aweful I felt knowing the compressor or unit needed replacing. He apologized and said he will talk to the technician. He then said during my next maintenance contract agreement in the fall he will replace my filter at no charge. My filters cost $50.00. He also told me next time I think a technician made some kind of mistake to contact him immediately and he will personally come out to reinspect the situation questioned. My only suggrestion to everyone to "always" watch the technician that is doing any type of work and to have them explain to you what they are doing and why.

Pickerington Heating & cooling installed an Aprilaire humidifier on furnace. They were punctual and used A-one parts in installing and hooking up the humidifier. My husband had been concerned about the water connection parts. Everything looks great. The price was much less than what another company quoted (but I'm not sure what model the other company was offering at $600).

It went very well. They removed all the register covers and cleaned all the furnace air ducts. Very good job! They arrived on time. Very professional. The job took about 3 hours. They replaced all the air duct covers and cleaned up everything. I recommend them very highly. GB

Servicemen arrived on time. Explained what service they would be doing and began their work. They were both very polite and did their work very well. The deal also included a furnace check. Which turned up a small part that needed to be replaced so that the system would not break down. Money well spent.

Called company because they had a coupon. found out i was out of service area but they agreed to do it for a trip charge of 54.00. office staff was responsive and friendly. Mike and Carl arrived as expected, were friendly, and worked hard. They discovered a of problefew problems, two which they were able to fix while they were here. Good job!

Since it was early in the season the company was available to install the new system the next business day. At the last minute the company had to reschedule because one of the installers fell ill. The HVAC system was installed the next business day (Saturday). The installers were professional and courteous and the installation took approximately 6 hours.

It was great. The tech knew completely what he was doing and gave me the complete low down on the furnace. I have had others from different vendors just come and go without saying much. This tech really took his time to ensure I was aware of everything going on. I have now used Pickerington Heating and Cooling for both an A/C check up and a furnace check up. I will stay with them as I completely trust them.

Our furnace went out suddenly and we could not figure out what the issue could be regardless of our troubleshooting tips we found on the internet. So we broke down and called Pickerington Heating and Cooling. They came out within a couple of hours and found the issue right away, which is good because I would have never figured it out. After they left I looked up the cost of the part they replaced and was floored at what I was charged but hey thats what I get when I don't have the knowledge to fix the issue myself. I would use them again if I needed to. Might even have them come out for ac and furnace tune-ups.
