the technician as arrived to inspect the water leak from the furnace and suggest to replace the secondary heat exchange but ideally the issue was not from the secondary heat exchange but a blockage of water flow in the furnace was causing the water leak and accidentally cleared it of and but was trying to suggest to change the heat exchange. The service was not satisfactory.

We live in a split-level home and our HVAC is wedged under the stairs pretty tight and we wanted a humidifier installed. Another company told us our only option was a steam humidifier that would cost $2200 to install. I talked to Pickerington Heating and Cooling on the phone and they said they could probably install a fan-assisted humidifier. Noah came out and said he could actually fit in a bypass flow-through humidifier, saving us money. I also had him install a condensate water pump to drain the AC and heat wastewater to our washer drain, which enabled us to remove an annoying pipe that ran across our basement floor. I also purchased the AC tune-up deal through Angie's List. Noah did a great job and got everything done quickly!

We had originally went with someone else, but they wanted to charge extra to fix an issue, so we went elsewhere. They were great about explaining everything, and I'm glad we called them. I would highly recommend them. They hire a lot of veterans, and we really appreciate it. We even picked up the annual maintenance package with them.

Left them a message about wanting a quote for a new furnace. They called me within 24 hours to get more info on what I needed. I told them I already had another quote and making sure the new furnace was rightly sized for the house was very important. They sent a technician very quick to take measurements (ducts size), conditions of the HVAC system and get some info on the house at no cost. Twenty minutes after the technician left I got a call from a sales rep (and co-owner) to explain recommendations based on the info collected by the technician. We talk about different options, energy efficiency models, maintenance and discount bundles by adding the duct cleaning service. Thirty minutes after I had two quotes on my email. We decided to get a high efficiency furnace plus a central humidifier and get the ducts cleaned. Scheduled the work for a convenient day. Communication before the work was done was great. Duct cleaning crew show up at the time they have said. They were very polite and professional. They show me their equipment and explained how they were cleaning the ducts. The amount of dust that came out was incredible (and disgusting) including two smashed beer cans. They were clean and careful as they moved from place to place. Right when they were finishing up the 2nd crew showed up to install the furnace. Jimmy and Marvin were fantastic, very polite and very nice. Explained what they were going to do, why they needed to drill a hole on my wall and what was different between the old and new furnace. When they were done they cleaned the area and explained to me how to operate the new furnace and the central humidifier unit plus maintenance for both units. I am extremely happy with the communication, work done and how everyone treated me and my house through the entire process.

He was very thorough and professional. I plan to hire them again to do a Spring a/c tuneup.

Very prompt, which was nice considering I had no heat except for space heaters. Bought an offer and only had to pay $34 on top of that, which was really no big deal. Definitely would hire Pickerington H&C again

Pickerington Heating and Cooling was excellent, they were communicative and timely. They were polite and worked diligently to get our furnace restored. They have been prompt to answer my questions during and after installation. I would highly recommend them!!

It went very well. They also got rid of some archaic geothermal heater which was left in place even though it has not been working for several decades. This was a big plus.

Switch problem fixed by Joe Wilson-easy fix. Joe did a great job with everything and very pleased with his service and Abby (in the office) was very helpful in answering questions and scheduling.

Pickerington Heating and Cooling looked everything over, tested the CO 2 levels from the furnace and said I didn't need a new heat exchanger after all. They also said they didn't think the heat exchanger had actually been tested by the previous company. They only charged $24. for the service call and I paid to replace the ignitor. Everything worked great and I had heat again within the hour of their arrival!! I am so glad I called them!

Well. The installer was professional and took the time to do it right.

Everything was great, from prompt scheduling, good service performed, pleasant technicians, and being here when they said they'd be. Unfortunately, the next day I found water all over the floor from the humidifier, which they had checked and was working fine. They weren't at fault! The problem was the after-market filter I had put in at the start of the season. It was not quite a tight fit and allowed water to drip every time the humidifier kicked on - thus the water on the floor. When I called the office, even though they were very busy with the sudden cold weather, they insisted on sending someone out that same day (I had turned off the humidifier & would have waited, but they would have none of that!). I did have to pay for another service call since it was a separate problem they couldn't have anticipated, and I paid for a good-quality replacement filter, but I'm okay with that. I learned a hard lesson about using cheap parts! (The price I include in this review is for both services over two days and the part.)

Overall everything went well, technician explained his work.

Post-purchase: It was slightly annoying to have to call them to have the service scheduled. They were paid; they get the information from Angie's List (according to the associate I spoke with on the phone) but no one bothered to contact me. I called myself to schedule the service. Day of installation: Overall, the installer, Mike, was great. His work was, for the most part, conscientious and very well done. He even showed me how to operate the humidifier and let me know what filter to purchase. Apparently during the installation, he needed more height, so instead of asking for a ladder or getting one from his truck (would they have those? Don't know ...), he stood on a plastic stool I had in the basement. It broke. I told him it was fine in the end--they weren't expensive or anything, but I would think one would know based on looking at them that they were not made for an adult to stand upon. Would have much preferred he ask for something made for that, which I had on hand. The only reason I'm not sure if I would hire again is because of these two issues I noted. I thought the install was good, and very punctual, but there is another HVAC company I deal with who has edged them out on the service aspects. However, Angie's List requires a Yes/No and I didn't think a blanket "No" answer on that question would be fair, so I marked yes.

The furnace was not working. The problem was clearly explained, our options discussed, and a solution arrived at. Very professional.

Pickerington Heating & Cooling did a fantastic job on our furnace cleaning, tune-up and safety check. Their prices were reasonable and competitive. Their service tech was prompt, professional and thorough. He took the time to explain the work that he did, where our furnace efficiency numbers placed before and after service, with the tune-up. We have noticed a huge difference in the way our furnace performs, it no longer runs as long as it used to, the house warms up more quickly AND we know it's no longer a safety concern. It's definitely something we're adding to our yearly maintenance list. We know we'll need a new furnace and a/c within the next two years and we will strongly consider using Pickerington Heating & Cooling for that work.

Pickerington Heating and Cooling has performed work at out condo many times - anything from a furnace inspection to a complete A/C replacement. All of the work was excellent, completed on time and at a fair price. The techs are all friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.
