Hartz Sealcoating

John Hartz oversaw the project and after project was finished. I noticed an impression and he ordered his men to come back and redo a spot that my tires had damaged. John is a customer satisfaction man, without question. I intend to use his firm again in a few years after the normal wear and tear of sealed driveways.

The quote was fine, but I didn't use them. I just called them and they just gave me the quote by mail.

It went very well. They were great. Their communication was excellent. They let me know when they were coming and at what time. When they have concrete and when I could drive on it. The workmanship was great. They weren’t high cost and they weren’t low cost, they were right in the middle. Their customer service was outstanding. I would definitely use them again.

First day prep, second day seal. No mess and it looks good.

They were able to get us in earlier than expected bc of a cancellation. They cut back ivy and edged the driveway and blew leaves off the driveway (not a small task) and cleaned up nicely. They moved quickly and were in and out.

Great work - they provided a written estimate the day I called them and did the work well. Their start date was delayed by several days due to weather but all in all, was a great experience. Would definitely use them again in the future.

Hartz Sealcoating bid my driveway sealing. I was slow getting back to them but they squeezed my job in quickly when I called. They cleaned the drive & repaired 2 cracks on Friday and sealed it the next day. Everything was done well. The crew was polite and professional. The driveway looks great. I will use this company when the drive is due its next coating.

They worked within our schedule to find the best time to complete the job. The first scheduled time didn't work out due to rain, but they were able to reschedule for the following week while we were on vacation. They called to let us know when they finished it, and we returned home to a finished driveway. Price was competitive with others. $330 for sealer only + $100 for filling 15 large cracks.

We were looking for a short-term sealcoat on a damaged asphalt driveway, until we redesign and replace it. Mr. Hartz looked at our driveway and advised us that it was not in good enough condition to coat - he said the coat wouldn't last a month. He gave us some suggestions for driveway replacement (which he doesn't do). He was prompt, very helpful, and honest. When we're ready to have our new driveway coated, I will call Mr. Hartz!

They came out promptly and provided a timely quote. Called to advice me of upcoming dates, called again the day before to advice me about need to be off the driveway and then showed up when scheduled. The did the work they promised in the manner promised and at the price promised. They assessed my driveway's life expectancy in a honest way. Top Notch

Very nice, neat job. Uniform coverage with quality sealant. Last sealant treatment, also done by Hartz, lasted 3 years, and the crack filler used then was still intact, even after some obvious movement of the pavement due to weather.

This is a private street with 20 condo's on the street. They made sure that all units had their cars out. All their personnel were courteous and helpful.

The weather prevented this job from occurring on the scheduled day, but as originally agreed upon, the crew was there first thing the next morning to start the work. They were courteous and professional and made sure that the owner of a vehicle that had been left in one unit's driveway was not going to be trapped by their operation (the owners were on vacation). The lots were cleaned, the cracks filled, and the lots were sealed with Brewer Cote products as advertised. The sealant was applied well, and the striping of the individual spaces was completed the next day. The only area I am not rating them as "A" was for punctuality, which I gave them a "B". This was due only to the subcontractor doing the striping coming back later than expected the following day (7PM). Once there though, he quickly got it done and it looks great. Not only was the price at the low end of the bids we had for the work, but the quality of the work was great! We won't hesitate to use Hartz sealcoating again!

The men arrived on schedule and cleaned off the driveway and filled my numerous cracks. Later they returned and put on a really thick coat of sealer and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

Mr. Hartz came out and inspected driveway and left an estimate. Scheduled work for June 3rd. The team came out and sealed the larger cracks and trimmed and blew off the driveway. They returned later in the day and put down a heavy coat of sealer. I could not be more pleased and my 35-year-old driveway looks great!

We were extremely pleased with the sealcoating of our commercial parking lot. We got fantastic service, the owner was on-site with his team and they were very flexible to meet our needs. They agreed to seal the parking lot on a weekend in late October in order to accommodate our commercial tenants. Unfortunately, rain and cold weather forced us to delay the work for a few days. John and his team worked with us and our tenants to perform the work in a manner that did not impact their business. They also offered appropriate suggestions for the future but did not oversell anything that was not needed at this time. We definitely will call Hartz in the future.

Hartz came and prepared the driveway by first cleaning and then sealing the cracks. They came back and put a final coat of sealer over the cracks. The driveway is old and even sealed the cracks still show but the driveway looks well protected. I would use them again.

Hartz was there when they said they would be, and the owner was on the job to make sure it was done right. Top quality work, great job.
