Since 1994 the Hartz brothers have built our business by delighting every possible customer. Our father taught us never to do a half-way job and we complete every parking lot and driveway project as if it were our own. We use the best products and application process and we answer our phones before and after the project is complete with the same courtesy. All went very well.
Description of Work: The first Hartz crew stopped by in the morning to clear the driveway edges and to seal several major cracks. The second crew stopped by in the afternoon and sealed the driveway. The work was completed in a very professional manner. Our driveway looks great.

Description of Work: They arranged to come towards the end of October, depending on weather. Called the week before to confirm a date. Arrived and made sure that we had time to move our cars from the garage. Explained exactly what they would do, how long we would need to avoid walking on it and how long to avoid driving on it. Very pleased with the appearance of end result and quality of work performed.

Description of Work: WOW! These guys are great! I called them for a quote on some driveway repair that we needed to have done. John Hartz showed up on time and discussed the job that we needed to have done. They called us to schedule an appointment and arrived on time with a crew to do the work. They were thorough and professional. And they did a FANTASTIC job on our driveway, exceeding my expectations (and that of our neighbors, as we share a driveway). I cannot tell you how great our driveway looks and what a great job Hartz did. I highly recommend them and will use them again down the road.

Description of Work: I contacted Hartz Sealcoating several weeks ago to request an estimate to have my driveway resealed. I was told that it would be a few weeks before they would be out to do the estimate. Today, April 6, 2015, I received an e-mail stating that they have moved and I am no longer in their service area.

It's such an unfortunate issue that occurred with [member name removed]--we apologize for not communicating our situation better. His request for a proposal came to us in the middle of a major re-location of our company and we were only able to assess our service area after we had settled everything with the new location. It was my decision to wait until our location change was finalized before alerting customers but I should have been more pro-active. We pride ourselves on our service (the most important part of that is good communication with our customers) and I was disappointed that I had made this mistake. The good part for us is that we do our best to learn from our mistakes and take critical feedback as something that will only make us better with our customers in the future. The only saving grace for this situation is that with all the wet weather, no one should be sealing their driveway for at least several more weeks and we were able to recommend another company that does work in his area.

Great experience. Called three companies for quotes. One said he'd come to quote but never showed. One couldn't find a pen or paper to take my information (??). John Hartz came within two days, gave me a quote, and did the work three days later when I was on vacation- July 3, when most companies were off. Very tidy. Cleaned area before working. Would have pulled weeds from cracks had there been any. Filled 11 cracks. Long drive and large area in back. Reasonable. Looks great. He kept me informed- when he was going to come to quote, when he dropped off quote, and then when his men would be there to do the job. Very pleased.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, IT WAS A BETTER SEALANT PRODUCT THAN THE SPRAY ON. MY DRIVEWAY LOOKS GREAT. THEY EXPLAINED TO ME NOT TO DRIVE ON IT FOR 2 DAYS AND ROPED OFF THE END, ALSO VERY REASONABLY PRICED.
