custom cabinets, handyman service
+ 0 moreWe had already completed the "old" kitchen demo before Kevin & Josh delivered the cabinets/cupboards. They used our garage as a staging area for all materials and as a workshop for assembly and preparing trim work. This kept the vast majority of clutter and debris out of our house. As I mentioned previously, they are VERY organized. They had all necessary tools & equipment to do the job--and there was no wasted time of motion. They were well-prepared every day. They tidied the work area as they went along and did a thorough cleaning each day before they left. Kevin even made a custom-built wooden box out of excess trim material to cover the ductwork that ran from our range hood up through the overhead cabinet to the ceiling. (Something we didn't ask him to do. He just thought of it on his own.) We would DEFINITELY use Kevin & Josh on any major future project that we have.
Description of Work: "Viagroup" is a father/son team (Kevin Via & Josh Via) of professional handymen who subcontract to local home-improvement companies and individual homeowners to perform a wide variety of projects. They were contracted by a home-improvement company to install about $20,000 worth of cabinets and cupboards in the kitchen we're remodeling. Kevin came by our house several weeks ago to go over the scope of work--prior to the cabinets/cupboards arriving from the factory. He and Josh delivered the cabinets/cupboards on 1/19/15 and completed the work on 1/23/15. They were both extremely professional, punctual, highly organized, and very meticulous. On top of that, they were very personable, considerate, and eager to answer any questions we had as the work progressed. I don't know how much they charged our contractor for labor; but they did a exceptionally high-quality job. We are very pleased and love the result. We are now waiting for another subcontractor to complete and deliver our new countertops.
