Description of Work: My only complaint is that it took more than 8 weeks for the new window. Also advertised cost of $189 per window is misleading. My out of pocket cost was more than $300.

+ -1 moreAll windows were replaced, without incident, in 2 days. We could not have been happier with the work performed by Maylon and several of his sons. They really know how to install windows. They cleaned up nicely after themselves, were polite and courteous.They came early and stayed late.What a breath of fresh air these guys were. True professionals. Hats off to Maylons and sons. The first thing we noticed about the windows, was how they blocked outside noise. We could not hear cars going by, etc. House was so much warmer in the winter, and heating bills decreased dramatically. Air conditioning worked so much better with the new windows. Windows operate perfectly and are so easy to maintain. Window World told us if anything happened to them that they would be replaced free of charge. This included free screen replacement if ever damaged for any reason. Window World was a pleasure to deal with. Maylon and his sons are the best window installers around.
Description of Work: Window world replaced 29 windows in our large 2 story home. Windows were very old.

+ -1 moreIt has been a few months now. And our AC/heating bill went down as a result of better windows. Also, we chose window withe the window-pane grid inside the double-hung style for a traditional look. They are easy to clean and move up-down with ease. I have severe arthritis in my hands/wrists and had difficulty manipulating the old windows, even though they slid side-to-side. However, I have no difficulty with these windows, even though they slide up and down! I love my new windows. And did I mention they come with a great guarantee? Yes, they will replace them if anything goes wrong with them. I highly recommend Window World. No complaints.
Description of Work: We had all of our windows replaced in our 2-story home. They were the original windows from when it was built in 1981, so they were very old and in bad shape. The first person we called was a local contractor who said it would cost more because our home has aluminum siding. They said it required extra work to install vinyl windows on aluminum siding. His estimate was over $7,000. So, I got on the internet to research others in the area to get another opinion. I then discovered that Window World had a distributor who was fairly local (next county over). I checked out their reviews and set up an appt. online. Their office called to confirm the appt. When the salesman came, he was very nice, not pushy. He answered all of our questions, measured the windows, and provided an estimate on-the-spot. He gave us the copy and told us to think about it and call him when we were ready to order. Again, he was not pushy at all. We talked about it, compared his quote to the local contractor, and decided to go for it. From the time we placed the order (windows are made-to-size for each window, custom made in their factory) to the time when they came, was less than a month. The 2 men who came to install the windows were able to complete the job in one day. That's with 12 custom-made windows! One of our windows is extra large, so the contractor said he could not install one that was like the others I wanted. However, Window World was able to make it just like all of the others. So, now all of our windows match, work great, and look great. I've received several complements on them.

+ -1 moreThe crew arrived on time at 8:30 a.m. all windows and and patio door were installed by 4:30 (half hour lunch break) All windows were framed and insulated. All debris was removed. They even asked if I wanted to keep the old screws the pulled from my windows(of course I recycle). I cannot say enough about this crew. It was a father and son team that were very polite and knowledgeable. Thank you Maylan and Sons keep up your great job with Window World!!!
