Rogers Co

I contacted several companies and finally chose Rogers Company. They have previously serviced my furnace and air conditioner. They were very price competitive. Always on time, fixed many unforeseen problems. Explained all of their work. Great work crew. Will continue to use them.

Well it started off bad and got worse.First the people that came out were not involve with estimate which was bad because they had no idea what was said to be done .We told them remodeling the entire house. second they were told from the beginning that we wanted the registrars in the wall or base board! the installers told me it was impose able to do !Here starts the problem I'm made the mistake of going with the so-called experts! what do I know ? My wife says it can be done these are 6" walls ! but honey the experts say it is not possible . we argue about this . She was right ! first cue the inconsistency in what they said when they came back to do my addition registrars which would be in a 4" wall? I ask myself why can it be done in a 4" wall and not a 6" ? Does not make sense. so they came back out to install the registrars in addition.There was no call ahead to say they were coming they just showed up! I had 2 other contractors there , good thing too as there were good witness to what was next! the 2 rogers boys spent a 1/2 hour figuring out were and how to put in because of the electrical box above.They were in the basement saw the situation .The one young man goes to saw a hole in the floor with a sawsal with out drilling a pilot hole First.I was talking to the other contractor when this gets my attention . I ask if he was going to drill a pilot hole first ? His reply I don't need to! (when you drill a pilot hole it gives you control of hole size and reduces damage out side the lines). so what happens he cuts the electric line ! "Oh I just skinned the ground wire no big deal you won't see it once i put the metal duct against it!" I told him to stop, just pick up your stuff and get out. I could see down the hole that more than just the ground was stripped. so did the other contractors. I did not fire them because of the mistake ,but because of the intent to conceal. It could of burnt down the house! Went looking for his associate . no were to be found. finally found him outside no where near were the work was? In formed him what went down. They left. 3 days past no one from Rogers called to question Why. I finial y decides to call they could do nothing wrong! Filed complaints with AG's office BBB, furnace supplier Famous Supply ). When Rogers got the complaint form the AG's office they decided to talk to me with the supplier I allowed them to come inspect what they did as I was having problems with the furnace .Not only was the Installer incompetent but so was his supplier or covering him ! Because after they left I got a second opinion.The new contractor weren't but 5mins. and saw that only the low end of my 2 stage furnace was hooked up ! cause the thermostat was for a single sage furnace and they would have had to run more wires to hook up the the second stage because there weren't enough ! So in a nut shell did not install metal duct work or dampers ,only put in 4 registrars out of 14 registrars one's they did install where out of square (crooked), did not put the correct theromstat in, tried to burn down my house. Did not even call to see why they were fired! suppose to be a 3 day job turned into 10 days and I still had to hire some to fix and finish there work. I am thinking
