It is now week number 7 and still nowhere close to being completed. On March 11, 2013, the Guernsy County Health Department come to do the inspection on the septic system and it was failed due to the company not installing the aerator correctly an it sank below ground. The company is now attempting to remove the aerator and put the stone under it that would have prevented the system from sinking. The septic lines are currently unhooked from the aerator so anything flushed or drained from the house goes directly into the big hole that will house the aerator. Not very sanitary but it happens. This company does not work normal hours. We are lucky if the company starts by 10 am and they usually are packed up and gone by 3 pm oh and of course they take an hour for lunch at 12pm. Since the work is not finished at this time and we have no estimate of when they will actually finish and pass the Health Department inspection we are stuck with looking at a tore up front yard. If I had it to do over again I would have used a different service. Update: On week 8 the Guernsey County Health Department did an inspection of the supposedly fix system, it failed for the fourth and final time. Because the company left the site open to the elements for 8 weeks, the site had to be abandoned and started in a different location. We fired this company and hired another company to do the new site. New site was completed in 3 days and passed the inspection on the first try.
Description of Work: This company was hired on February 1, 2013. Mr. Rust gave us an estimate of $10,500.00 and the septic system would be completed and usable in 4 days.
